LAS Nursery is an independent Ofsted graded GOOD nursery (May 2023), based in Hackney, for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The nursery is open from 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday.

LAS nursery is set in an old schoolhouse building, with spacious rooms that have been beautifully decorated and are flooded with natural light.

Facilities include a private garden equipped with mud kitchens, a water play station, dedicated area for non walkers, planters, a bird feeding wall and picnic tables.

There is a sensory room with a range of sensory toys, mirrors, a ball pit, lights and a tee pee filled with cushions for some quiet time.

Meal times are spent together around the table in the canteen where meals are served from the onsite kitchen. All meals and snacks are nutritionist approved and prepared on site but the nursery chef.

The nursery team is qualified in early years education, experienced and dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive learning environment for all children.

The curriculum is planned around the EYFS and includes a wide variety of inspiring learning activities and daily extra curricular sessions including yoga, music and movement, Forest School, cooking club, French and Portuguese lessons - all included within the fees. There are regular excursions to the local park, nearby library and farm to name a few.

There is a strong emphasis on parent partnership to deliver the best learning experiences according to the individual needs of every child. The nursery runs monthly parent workshops covering topics from first aid to baby massage to fussy eating and speech development as well as family events with the children.

The people at the Little Angels are doing an extremely good job, being professional and friendly at the same time. The new management team has worked miracles the past year, creating an inclusive, family atmosphere while introducing a range of interesting activities and encouraging both further connection
between home and nursery time and connection between the nursery and the local community.
Complimenting managements' efforts, the nursery practitioners and stuff are a diverse, special group of gifted people who love children and put their heart and soul into their every day's work. They are inspired, professional, hardworking people, always friendly with big smiles on their faces.
My 18 month old baby joint the Little Angels nursery when he was only six months old and he has really enjoyed this past year. He loves going to school and he loves his carers. I am happy to leave my baby at the nursery in the morning and I always collect a happy baby at the end of the day!

We absolutely love this nursery! The staff is warm, caring and happy, it is visible that they enjoy their job. The kids get to experience a lot of different enrichment activities that are well thought out, and relevant to their age.

I love the enthusiasm and friendliness of all the staff. Rooms are spacious and bright. Lots of toys for kids to play with. Everything is clean and tidy. Not cheap, but similar prices to other nurseries in the area.

My 2 children attended Little Angels' Schoolhouse from the age of 9 months when I returned to work. The staff were kind, friendly and attentive. Both my children thrived and my eldest has headed off to school a sociable and confident child and still regularly asks when she can go back to nursery!
The
food is good, the classroom set up is good. The garden area is small but perfectly good for small children. The staff and management we always flexible and supportive of working parents. I would happily recommend the nursery to friends and colleagues.

My youngest daughter started the nursery and settled in so well that I’ve now started to enrol my other daughter too. The staff have welcomed her and she has not cried at all because she is so excited to spend time at nursery. She has already made friends and I love to watch the camera to see how she

Two of my older children went to the nursery and they both loved it. They were loved by all the staff and enjoyed all the fun activities that were set out in the rooms. My oldest boy could be difficult and they were able to cater to his needs and when he wanted to move room as he was fond of another
staff member. The staff were very accommodating to this and began his transitioning period early. They loved it there so much that I am enrolling my youngest child to the nursery and they will be starting this month and I am sure she will love it just as much. The staff are very friendly and are always there to greet you with a smile.

My 3 year old attends Little Angels and loves it there. His older sister went there too until she started school a couple of years ago and friends she made there continue to be the closest she has. I would very much recommend the nursery - the staff, the kids, the setup is all very lovely.

A nice nursery overall, kind staff who make caring for children a priority. There has been a recent change of management and it has worked out for the best. The staff seem to feel more relaxed and a different atmosphere is present in a good way.

Staff are fantastic, helpful and attend to the needs of my daughter, my daughter can't wait to come into the setting is also happily greeted by staff and management. Any concerned I had due to my child development, staff are very helpful and direct me to the right people and support I need.

Little Angels’ Schoolhouse is a really lovely, friendly and professional nursery. Both of my children attended the nursery from the age of 1 to 4 until they left for big school. It was wonderful. They settled in really well; were happy and always keen to go to the nursery. It was a huge relief for us.
The staff were wonderful too – everyone was really caring, dedicated, very welcoming and helpful, and supported my children with love, patience and a ready smile. It gave us peace of mind that both of them were in the safe hands of the professional and friendly team at Little Angels’ Schoolhouse. Thank you very much Little Angels’ Schoolhouse!
