Little Garden The Kentish Town Day Nursery & Pre-School

Slightly too high staff turnover.

I recommend the Kentish Town Day Nursery without hesitation.

They are now 3.5 years old and are really enjoying their day. They love their carers and have made many friends. When I pick them up, they are always busy and I usually have to wait 30 minutes before they agree to leave. The manager is always available and full of ideas about new activities. The staff is so nice and always paying close attention to the children needs. They organise a lot of activities for parents too so they can network and get to know other parents. I already have recommended this nursery to friends and would do it again as this provides the perfect environment to our girls. They will go to school in September and we will be very sad to say goodbye to all the lovely staff this summer. We will miss the nursery greatly.

Caring and friendly nurses who are found of our little ones, a real relationship with the one that takes specially care of our son, a large scale of activities outside (it is just amazing to have a garden AT the Nursery) and inside (yoga, amanda class action, french lesson...) for them to grow in a great condition, an amazing chef that would be worth 5 stars on a travel review website... I can’t be more happy of our nursery in Kentish Town.

Our daughter has been attending Kentish Town Day Nursery and Preschool for a number of months now, and we're very happy with our experience. The carers look forward to spending time with the children and show them genuine affection. Management is approachable, open to feedback and diligent about specific dietary and other requirements for each child. The children, starting as babies, are regularly taken out to parks, libraries and the local city farm. Our daughter's motor and social skills have improved during her time attending the nursery, which we credit in large part to her attendance. The outdoor garden onsite is a huge plus.

Food is also excellent - and we enjoy the open days when parents can eat it!

Our son loves going to nursery. He loves the activities, especially messy play and playing in the garden. He has a fantastic relationship with not only his key worker but all staff, and he comes home telling us about his friends too. I personally enjoy hearing about their outings to the shops or seasonal activities. The environment feels clean, tidy and spacious.

This truly is a great nursery and I couldn’t imagine my daughter going anywhere else. In fact, her little brother is already signed up and will start there soon!

Both of our sons are going to the Kentish Town Day Nursery and 1,000 characters wouldn't be enough to say how much we love it and recommend it. If I could only say one thing, it would be that I am a pretty anxious mum and having found the right place is very important to me, I can spend the day at the office without any guilt or anxiety as I know the boys are having a blast. The staff is incredible, we don't tell them enough.

We have been very happy with Little Garden Nursery, Kentishtown. The staff is professional and organised, they plan wonderful activities for the children, and take great care of our little one. They are very warm and loving with the children and our child comes home happy and well looked after everyday. Would highly recommend the Nursery.

Moreover, while a lot fussier at home (!), at nursery they both eat very well and enjoy the fresh, balanced and nutritious meals. The older one will really miss everyone when he heads to school in September!

They also do a great job of making sure that the parents are happy-- the opening hours are the best we have seen, and there are even activities for the parents to socialise with each other. We take a lot of comfort in being able to leave our son in the care of The Little Garden without any concern, as we know that he is in great hands.

Our son has been enrolled at Little Garden in Kentish Town since August 2017, from 12 months. He attends 3 days a week. It was very difficult at first leaving him off at nursery, but as we saw the joy the nursery brought him it brought us much comfort that he was in very capable care.

We feel fortunate to have such caring individuals around our son and really are part of the family.

Purposeful activities are planned and the kids are encouraged to try new things and to take risks in a safe setting. Our son is happy to go every morning and he talks about his friends and carers at home. We believe it is a place where every child feels special and loved. I would recommend this place without any hesitation!

My son has been exposed to so many different fun activities such as music classes, sports in the park, French, cooking, science experiments, yoga and so much more. The nursery is very well run and parents are kept in the loop regularly of their child's progress. The opening hours are also excellent for working parents. I would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any parent!

Our son started at the nursery when he was 7 months old. As a parent, we have always felt carefully listened to throughout all stages of our child s development and throughout the transitions. The staff are great and show real care for the kids. Activities are diverse but also allow a lot of play. The outside area is a real plus. Our son is currently in the toddler room and he loves it, as well as the people who take care of him - seeing him happy is probably the best proof!

We are extremely happy with the care our son receives at the Kentish Town Little Garden nursery. All members of the team show such dedication to the well-being and growth of the little ones. Our son (in the baby room) particularly enjoys the music, dance and singing activities, the messy and sensory play, the food, and the social contact with his peers. I highly appreciate that his key person and the team provide such a nurturing and comforting environment while encouraging him to become independent (e.g. eating, walking), a step at a time with his individual needs and personality in mind. I also enjoy the thorough reports of daily observations at pick-up time, and the time the team takes to communicate with parents. Thanks as well for the highly accommodating opening hours, especially key for parents with a long commute.

Thanks to the team at Little Garden in Kentish Town for providing such a brilliant ‘second home’ to our little boy. He loves his time at nursery and we couldn’t be happier with the staff, the educational programme and environment. I would highly recommend this nursery to prospective parents.

My little one has thrived in this stimulating nursery and is very proud of "Little Climbers". He loves the daily activities, creative arts and excursions which have all contributed to his development.
