Little Garden The Kentish Town Day Nursery & Pre-School

Since the pandemic has started, they have put in place very strict rules in order to avoid/limit the spread of the virus, and we feel very confident when we drop the children at the nursery every day.

My son (27 months) has been at the Kentish Town Day Nursery for about six months now. We absolutely love the nursery - my son is so confident and happy there, and we have seen really excellent developments in his language recently. He settled in very quickly, and the staff have been so supportive and friendly. The reports and updates provided to parents are excellent. Highly recommend.

We started at Kentish Town Day nursery in October 2020 for my 18 month old daughter and have had a fabulous experience. My daughter was at a different nursery over the summer and she never quite settled. It was exactly the opposite here. She took to the staff and care very well and is happy and smiling at drop-offs and pickups. I have found the staff and management great at communication and just very personalised and caring. They make a real effort with activities for the children and have also made an effort to get to know us as the parents. Would 100% recommend if you are considering for your child.

She has breakfast and lunch there and the staff are super kind and caring. My daughter is so happy and the management go above and beyond expectations really. It’s my first child and the staff have given me wonderful advice on training with my daughter from stopping breastfeeding to sleeping in her own bed and good ways to teach her learning opportunities. I would be lost without their support and care.

Our eldest went to Little Garden and we were so impressed by the care and environment that we decided to send our youngest there too. We have been just as delighted the second time around and so comforted by seeing some of the old faces still there. The manager is a delight and incredibly efficient.

Our daughter started in the baby room a few months ago and we couldn’t be happier. Every member of the staff is incredibly kind, caring, and fun - she clearly loves them all and comes home with a huge smile every day! In these special times, everyone is doing an amazing job at creating a normal space for our babies to enjoy and are nurturing a sense of community with warm and friendly memos and communications as well as nice events for the children. Finally, the food cooked at the nursery is great and very diverse. Getting your baby started at nursery is never easy and is an emotional step so I am glad to have chosen this lovely place.

Kentish Town is an excellent nursery and preschool. Our daughter has been there since the age of 1.5 and has always been smiling and happy to go there every day. The children's security and wellbeing and development is taken very seriously by a loving and dedicated staff. The food is also excellent which was important for us. Despite our daughter's mother tongue is French (we only speak French at home) she is learning English at nursery and has a very good level. She made a lot of friends and can't wait for the "graduation party". The preschool organised every year for those who go to reception. For sure we will miss this incredible nursery and preschool (and the team!) when she will go to school next year.

I have 2 children currently at the nursery and am very happy with the care they are receiving. They are genuinely happy to be at nursery and have made such great progress. The staff are great and really take care of the children. I have also been very impressed with the way they have handled everything since nursery has reopened after lockdown, in particular making sure that the children feel happy, safe and “normal”!

The staff are friendly and keep you updated with your kid's progress.

Our efforts (along with 30 other families at the nursery) to engage upper management in real dialogue were not successful. We ultimately left because we felt we could not trust management and we were concerned about the changing culture and feel of the nursery.

We highly recommend Little Garden Nursery (Kentish Town Day Nursery) where our son spent 2 years! The staff are amazing, the place is really nice and they are doing lots of activities like Spanish Class, Yoga, visiting Farms, library. So happy that our son has grown up in this environment! Thanks again to the whole team!

We have mixed feelings as our child is going to school this September, he is really well-prepared for it but we will miss everyone at the nursery.

Outstanding nursery! We sent our daughter to the Kentish Town branch for over 18 months and it was the best experience ever! Impressive the amount of activities they run every day for the children, their homemade food is excellent as well and the staff is brilliant! Has been the best experience for us as parents sending our child to nursery for the first time and for my daughter’s development. Highly recommend it!

We cannot speak highly enough of our key person at LG Kentish Town. She is caring, nurturing and so clearly focused on the happiness and development of our little guy. Importantly she is also a great communicator and gives us a clear, thoughtful report on how each day has gone and anything we should be alive to. Her combination of compassion and professionalism is so unique and just spectacular. We feel confident and happy knowing she is looking after our son. We cannot thank her enough for really knowing our son as the tiny amazing person he is, and caring for him as we would ourselves. She cannot imagine the peace of mind she gives us each day.

Kentish Town Day Nursery and Pre School was a brilliant experience for our daughter. Over the last 3.5 years, the staff have helped her learn, develop and grow. They were always hugely helpful and had her genuine interests at heart. When she was old enough, our daughter would often tell us about all of the trips and activities that she had done during the day – from going to the park and the local library to the local farm or even the shops. The nursery became a really important part of her world – she made some great friends with her classmates - and teachers. In the last few months, parts of the nursery were refurbished inside and out and so it really is a great space. Overall, I very much recommend Kentish Town Day Nursery & Pre-school – it has helped prepare our daughter for school and the adventures and experiences that lay ahead!

Kentish Town Day Nursery has been fantastic for my toddler. We are sorry to have to move away from it as he enjoys it a lot. He has been there for a little more than a year and I have seen how it has positively affected his learning and social skills. His classmates, as well as many of the staff, especially one member whom I have seen in action and feel, is a great asset to the nursery, have become part of the stories that he tells. I have no hesitations in recommending this nursery to any new parent. (I put excellent in all the categories except value for money - this is because I feel it is a bit expensive and not because they provide anything less than expected, but I am aware that this is the standard rate in the area)!

Our son has stayed at the Kentish Town Day Nursery and Pre-School for more than 2 years and we have been extremely happy with it. The staff at all levels is very professional and friendly. They create a very nice environment for the children and monitor their progress. They run a few events along the year, the final one being the graduation which is fantastic. The nursery itself is very nice, especially after the refurbishment and the works done to the external space. We have been extremely pleased and happy with the nursery and would highly recommend it.

This nursery is fantastic. The staff is extremely thoughtful and really goes the extra mile to help children blossom.
