Kids Planet Lymm

The team at Kids Planet Lymm are absolutely wonderful! They are very welcoming and have been since day 1 to myself and my daughter. All team members know her by name and always say hello and goodbye to her. They have been a huge help with her reaching milestones, like walking, weaning and potty training. They have created a warm, happy environment for all the children. We love it!

We are near the end of our journey at Kids Planet as our son is quickly approaching a new chapter at primary school. We love everyone at Kids Planet they have been nothing but wonderful to our son and us as a family. Would absolutely 1000% recommend Kids Planet Lymm.

Both my children have attended Kids Planet Lymm from being about 18 months and they both love going to nursery. The staff are great and they always keep you informed of how your child is doing at nursery. My eldest son is leaving soon to go to primary school and the transition has been fantastic. I would definitely recommend Kids Planet Lymm.

My daughter loves coming to nursery, everyone is so friendly and knows who she is. We appreciate the massive variety of activities, learning aids and events put on by the nursery, which she is learning from everyday. She’s come on leaps and bounds since joining.

Our daughter has been at Kids Planet Lymm since being 12 months old and is now in the preschool room. The nursery staff are excellent. Nothing is too much for them and our daughter always looks forward to going. On occasions when there's any issue or problem, the staff are quick to understand the issue and either resolve themselves or assist with helping you as a parent. All of the staff are well-trained and know their children very well. Food wise, the food is prepared by the chef on site and is nutritious and healthy. Both outdoor and indoor space is excellent and keeps the children busy throughout the day. Even though the cost of any nursery is expensive nowadays, the value is really good. Also the opening times of the nursery is really good if both parents work full time. Overall I'd have no hesitations whatsoever to recommend Kids Planet Lymm to prospective parents.

Both children thoroughly enjoy the nursery and have developed so much since starting. Staff are always available to answer any questions or provide updates and the children have really good bonds with them.

My boys started nursery in July. The staff have made the transition work smoothly and the boys are very happy in preschool. They look forward to going every day. They always talk about the staff with excitement and they are all very friendly. We are well-kept informed of their daily routine and contacted in any incident.

Over the last two years, I have been blown away by how far my son has come along - physically, emotionally and verbally. It is evident that a lot of care and thought is taken into consideration in the planning of not only the day-to-day activities but, each month, there is a wealth of activities that the children and families are involved in. The environment and facilities that are offered are brilliant, providing independence and a unique learning experience to the youngsters. The food that is provided always goes down a treat, and nutrition is something that is always high on Kids Planet's agenda. It really is a pleasure to know that my son has the best people teaching him, caring for him and nurturing him whilst at nursery. Thanks so much for your fabulous efforts year on year.

Our son has been attending Kids Planet Lymm since he was 10 months old. He thoroughly enjoys himself there and does a wide range of activities every day and trips out that are both stimulating and educational. The staff are all lovely; very friendly and supportive and accommodating with swaps/extra days wherever possible. They seem to really care about our little boy and his development. I really like the app and the updates throughout the day as it gives me peace of mind and it's lovely seeing pictures of his day. The nursery has recently been refurbished too and it looks really good. There has been a high turnover of staff recently, particularly with management, which is why I'm giving 4 stars, but this seems to be settling with the new management.

We have been at Kids Planet, Lymm for 7 years now, both daughters have attended. As we come to our last month there, for my youngest, I can only praise the ongoing relationships my daughters have formed with staff. The stimulating and exciting activities that are created for the children and also the day trips. I am kept up to date with an app which shows me development assessments, photos and meals they have had during the day. Highly recommended.

My little girl has recently moved up to Toddlers, felt like only yesterday when she started in babies a year ago. The staff are so lovely, you feel like you're walking into a little family. It’s great when I come to collect her and see by her little face that she has had a good day. I really like the app, which keeps me updated on what my daughter is doing, what she has eaten, nappy changes etc, so it's peace of mind that she is doing just fine. I had various nurseries to choose from but Kids Planet Lymm really stood out and I am glad she attends there. Thank you.

My son is about to finish his time at Kids Planet Lymm and he's thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The staff are great at dealing with his emotions and his occasional difficulties early in the morning. The setting is lovely and they've recently invested in the look of the site and the outdoor space, which is very important to me. They offer a varied range of activities and trips out, e.g. forest school and walks to the local village. I was impressed with the standard of service during the pandemic which must have been difficult for the staff. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think staff turnover is high and this can cause problems with communication. I would like to see a more stable management team in place and I would like them to be more visible. As a result of the changing staff I feel that communication with parents could be improved.

We love this nursery. They have been amazing in every way. We have 2 children at the nursery who have thrived since they’ve been there. They’ve supported our children through transitions and developed their confidence in all areas of learning and development. The staff show genuine care and affection. And most importantly my children love going into nursery.

A fantastic nursery with wonderful staff. We have recommended the chain to friends who now use another Kids Planet nursery.

My son is so happy now to go into nursery and I can see his development. The staff are very friendly and I feel content leaving my baby with them. I love to see the updates and especially pictures of him having fun.

I have a 4 year old and 3 year old who have both been at Kids Planet Lymm since they were 4 months old. The staff there are incredibly conscientious, patient and kind. They work hard to arrange different activities daily and have done so many exciting things with the kids that I could never do at home. There are continual improvements put into the nursery and facilities available. My eldest is about to move on to primary school and I can’t help but think back when I first took him round as a newborn and my mind was immediately put at ease. My daughter has absolutely flourished since starting at Kids Planet. She had a difficult transition when we moved house during lockdown which has been eased with the kindness, care and stability provided by the teachers. Both my partner and I work shifts within the NHS, and the management team has always been extremely accommodating about swapping or getting extra days, even at short notice they try their utmost to facilitate things. The team goes above and beyond in integrating the children into the village, and my daughter loves to tell me where they have been on their walk-odiles.

My son continues to flourish at Kids Planet In Lymm and this is solely down to the excellent team looking after him every day. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown, the nursery remained open for key workers. Knowing that our son was being looked after in a caring and loving environment during this time was so reassuring. Thank you to all the team, you are all very much appreciated.

Our little grandson absolutely loves attending. He even asks at weekends "am I going to nursery". Before lockdown, on the occasions when my husband and I were able to pick him up, the staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Since lockdown, as the child of keyworkers, he has been attending full time and has certainly benefitted in speech and all-round development.

Really pleased with our experience of Kids Planet Lymm for both my son and my daughter. I always felt they were well looked after, learning, having fun and eating varied healthy meals. We loved Kids Planet so much that we sought out another Kids Planet in Widnes as we've recently moved. Thanks to all the staff for helping our little ones grow and keeping them safe, happy and showing them the ropes. Communication and flexibility has always been fabulous too.
