My son has had a tough time transitioning into preschool, but his key worker has been absolutely amazing in helping make it as smooth as possible for him, within a few weeks we have gone from screaming and crying to him giving me a kiss goodbye. I love hearing about all the fun activities they do and
getting updates on the journey is really lovely and a great way to stay connected when we are apart. I also love that they get to play outdoors during all types of weather, my son loves this! I look forward to seeing him progress and grow even more throughout the year.

My daughter attended Bright Comets Day Nursery and she has recently left in August to start school and she honestly had the best time. She gained so much confidence in herself since attending Bright Comets and always came home with the biggest smile on her face. She was always super excited to tell
me about her wonderful day at nursery. All the staff are lovely, kind, caring and go above and beyond. I would highly recommend Bright Comets to anyone looking for a nursery for their children, couldn’t fault them. Thumbs up from myself and my little one!

Our daughter has been at Bright Comets since she was 7 months and is now 3. She will remain there until school. It is a wonderful, nurturing, caring environment and our daughter has thrived there. The nursery is clean, very well organised and has high levels of parent engagement. We receive regular
newsletters and room planning. The staff are well trained and managed and the turnover of staff is generally low - my daughter has had just 3 key workers in her 3 years.
Bright Comets is well equipped and children take part in fantastic learning opportunities clearly linked to EYFS. I would highly recommend the nursery.

I am very happy and confident to leave my daughter in the safe hands of the nursery staff. They always welcome with such warmth which makes my daughter feel very comfortable and secure. This made it easier for her to settle there. When my daughter started going as a baby she cried when I used to make
her ready in the morning, and I have come to a point where she happily waves me Goodbye when I drop her. I have seen her crying missing her key workers and on the days of vacations/ bank holidays. This is the level of connection she has developed with the nursery.
I can see the progress in my daughter's learning and speaking capabilities. Overall very happy with my decision to go for this nursery.

My little one started Bright Comets at 6 months and settled in very quickly all thanks to the experienced and extremely caring staff in the baby room. I also started a new job in the same week and felt support by the staff and confident that my baby was in safe hands. My baby always looked like they
had a fulfilled day. I would happily recommend Bright Comets to anyone, it is a loving, friendly place and I know so many parents who feel the same way!

Current Review Score: 9.2 (9.197)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.2 (9.197) out of 10 for Safari Stars Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.4 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.833 for Safari Stars Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (92 Excellents x 5) + (14 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 108 Ratings = 4.833
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.364 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Safari Stars Nursery is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 97 number of registered child places is 19.4. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 19.4 = 0.464
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
