Bright Horizons Mount Carmel Nursery in Holloway is located only 5 minutes from Holloway Road tube station on the Piccadilly line.

Their nursery setting is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30, for children aged 3 months to 5 years. They offer a warm, welcoming environment supporting the transition from home to nursery, made up of 4 light and spacious home bases.

Lovely professional nursery with caring, kind and informed staff. A safe and comfortable environment that nurtures development - emotional, social and physical. Every effort is made to encourage and support a childs favourite activities, to push them further to be the best version of themselves. Administratively,
the management team and keyworkers have been superb if we have ever had concerns. As our eldest graduates as a happy, confident child we are excited to see our second daughters journey unfold.

My son arrives in the friendly and welcoming baby room with a big smile on his face. The staff are wonderful, they are calm, caring and conscientious.
I had anticipated that it would be difficult taking my baby to nursery at 9 months old. However, this has not been the case, he is thriving at nursery
and quickly learnt how to crawl watching the other children learnt how to crawl watching the other children.
I would thoroughly recommend this nursery to other parents.

The staff at Mount Carmel are adorable and caring.
I know I can leave my little one with no worries in the morning and he will be well looked after during the day.
Nonetheless, the room set up does not allow the youngest ones to sleep as they would need to and we end up with a grumpy little one to
deal with after work. Additionally, I was expecting many more activities to go on, such as sensory classes, baby gym, music/singing with someone playing an instrument: a bit disappointed that they tend to only play inside.

They provide different activities on a daily basis inside and outside the room. My child has never got bored with going to the nursery, even doesn't want to go home and keep playing. The staffs are all very kind and informative. I'm very happy to leave my child with them.

Our daughter has been at Mount Carmel since she was one. She has grown in so many ways and is an intelligent and confident girl. She has made firm friends and engaged her time learning and playing.

My wife and I were very apprehensive about our boy starting nursery. The care and support we received from the baby room staff has been very good and our apprehension soon wore off. Now he has started in the toddler's room we hope he keeps enjoying himself. The management staff have also been very good.
If I could change two things it would be for our son to go outside more and for a bit more communication on what he's done during the day. But overall we're very happy.

My son has attended this nursery since he was 9 months old and left in September 2017. I also have a daughter who also attends the nursery and has done since she was 9 months old and is still only 20 months now.


All the staff are really nice and get on like one big family. They really do take good

care of the children, even when they are ill. One of the best nurseries I have ever come across.

Like any other parent, I was too nervous to leave my kid full-time in daycare, but after 6 months I can confidently say I have no complaints and my son loves his time at the nursery. He has become much more independent at 1 and a half years and made a few friends too. Staff are incredible in loving
and taking care of all kids. Tt's just a happy world there.

My son has been attending the nursery since August. We've found everyone to be extremely warm, welcoming and professional. My son has consistently screamed on arrival, but the girls take him from me with care and by the time I return, he's had a lovely time, has eaten and taken naps. I get a lovely
update on everything he's done that day and often a quick adult catch up chat too which is really nice.


I feel like they really get each baby's individual personalities and genuinely care about them. Almost everyone I've chatted to has said they love what they do, all these little things make such a huge difference when you're leaving your child in their care.

My daughter has settled really well into the baby room, she has formed a strong positive relationship with her key worker.
She is now settling in the toddler room which I'm sure she will love just as much as the baby room.
What I like and appreciate the most is that we get lots of photos to show
our baby having a good time throughout the day. This is really nice as my daughter is only 13 months and not yet talking.

Both of my children have attended Bright Horizons Mount Carmel Day Nursery and Preschool from a young age and have thoroughly enjoyed their time there. My children’s key people over the years have been fantastic not only with my kids but with myself.


The staff are very approachable and are really

helpful and informative. I really do feel that the staff care for all the children at the nursery and have genuine love for the job.


Both of my children have come on leaps and bounds while attending Bright Horizons Mount Carmel Day Nursery and Preschool and I couldn’t be happier with their experience and development.

Our son has been attending Mount Carmel for the past two years, from the age of seven months moving through the Baby Room and Rising Twos to Pre-School. He has been very happy there and we have been equally happy with the nursery. The staff are fantastic, there has been some high turnover but everyone
that comes in seems to provide the high standard of care that we've come to expect. There is a warm family feel - all the staff know our boy - and I've been particularly impressed with the quality of the food provided and the range of the menu. My fussy eater at home eats everything that the chef cooks!


Our son has always attended part time and the fees feel pretty expensive as they are weighted in favour of full time. But on balance, we feel that the quality of the care is worth the expense. The location is particularly convenient for my husband given the transport links to our work nearby.


The nursery was recommended to me and I have recommended it to several other parents.
