Sunshine Day Nursery by Busy Bees

My son has been going to this nursery full time since he was 4 months old when I needed to return to work. There is not one bad thing I would say about the nursery, the staff are so lovely and really care about the children. His key worker has been amazing and senior carer is just out of this world. They all go above and beyond their job roles and my son smiles and laughs when I drop him off. I have not one worry leaving him in their care. The notifications I get during the day showing me what he is up to are extra special. I can not recommend this place enough and it breaks my heart we are leaving due to needing a nursery closer to where I work. If you are looking for a place that is caring, friendly and the peace of mind your child is safe, this is the place for you.

When I visited Sunshine Nursery before my daughter started, I knew straight away she would be happy here. The staff are really helpful, friendly and always take the time to tell you about your childs day.

Ever since she started, it was a bit of a battle to let her go as she was very upset, as a parent it was very upsetting! But thanks to the amazing management team and staff who reassured me at all times, would let me sit in the office to see her calm down, I overcome this challenge! As my daughter only showed slow improvement and selective mutism was mentioned, which I've never heard off. The staff/ management offered support and specific activities straight away! Basically I don't know how to thank them all for beeing so kind, understanding and supportive! I probably wouldn't understand till today why she is the way she is. My daughter seems to like nursery a lot and comes back home with all these exciting news and moves from ballet! Although she doesn't speak a lot she takes it all in and has developed very well in all areas. Thank you so much for all these reassuring words and actions! And thank you for treating my little girl with so much patience and care and understanding.

I receive regular updates about my child's progress via the Tapestry system and daily updates are provided in her book.

My daughter has been attending Sunshine for two years and enjoys it. Communication with staff is good and we are regularly kept up to date with how she is progressing. It's a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and we would recommend it to others.

Since joining the nursery my daughter has grown and developed so much at a young age, it's amazing. She's learning new words every week, singing songs and learning to play with other children. She only goes two times a week, yet friends and family often comment on how she understands so much and can say a lot and I'll always say it's because of her time in the nursery. She absolutely loves nursery and it makes it so much easier to leave her in a place she has so much fun in. I would recommend the nursery to everyone I know.

All of the staff are very friendly and it is lovely how they all show an interest in my son. I am often stopped on my way to collect him by a member of staff telling me a little anecdote about his day.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sunshine.

I am remarkably happy with Sunshine Day Nursery in Shoreham, the care for our 3-year-old has been excellent, we came from a previous nursery, and since our daughter has been going to Sunshine she has come on leaps and bounds.

She has a lot more confidence and definitely has learnt a lot from the staff and how they educate the children. The structure of the nursery is excellent with ample amount of garden space to play and learn. Our daughter finds it enjoyable to go to nursery and every time we pick her up she is excited to tell us what she has been up to.

I couldn't thank all of the staff enough for the excellent care and attention to detail on how the children learn throughout the sessions attended. Thank you Sunshine. I will definitely recommend this nursery to others.
