Nursery Rhymes – Stoneygate, Day nursery and Pre-school, is an award-winning Nursery providing outstanding childcare where your child will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities in a unique family run home from home setting.

Nursery Rhymes - Stoneygate opened under the group name of Nursery Rhymes - Leicester in 2009 and provides quality day care for babies and children from 6 months – 6 years of age in a safe & secure setting, complemented by the nursery's state-of-the-art authorised door entry system and CCTV.

The unique property, on the exclusive leafy Knighton Grange Road bordering Stoneygate and Oadby, is only a 5-10 minute drive from Leicester City Centre along the main (A6) London Road.

Provisions include ICT, quiet room, art and craft, cooking and gardening, music and movement, French, forest schools, singing and stories, water and sand activities and role play.

Your child will be lovingly cared for by qualified, enthusiastic & dedicated staff in a stimulating environment led by the manager who is NNEB qualified and has 14 years' experience in childcare working with children in day nurseries, family centres and schools.

The majority of the great team have been with the setting for well over 5 years, with many being a part of the "Rhymes team" for over 10 years!

Absolutely wonderful nursery! My eldest went here and still talks about it (she's now 6) and I currently have my 2 yr old in the toddler room. She LOVES going to nursery and absolutely adores her key carer Chloe! Chloe is exceptional and goes way beyond with caring for our children. She is like a big
sister to them, always making each day so much fun, filled with love and encouragement. Every single key carer is amazing and I just have no words for this nursery. They have a long waiting list so that just shows how brilliant and sought after they are! I'm truly grateful my little ones have experienced and are experiencing this wonderful nursery.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are caring through and through, and it gives us real peace of mind knowing our daughter is in such safe and trusted hands. She has an amazing time there, with days filled with fun, engaging, and educational activities that keep her happy and learning.
The
team are also incredibly flexible and accommodating, which makes a huge difference for our family. Overall, it's an all-round excellent nursery and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their child.

Home away from home is how I can describe this nursery for my child. All 3 of my children have attended this nursery and my youngest is there currently. I couldn't be happier with the level of care my children have and are receiving here. They have great activities, learning material, amazing staff
and a variety of healthy nutritious meals. I have complete peace of mind when my child is here and seeing the constant updates of what they have been up to during the day reassures me that they are learning, eating well and most importantly having fun.

My daughter has been going to Nursery Rhymes for almost a year now and she absolutely loves being there, she can't wait to jump out of our arms every morning. The staff are wonderful and build genuine relationships with all the babies and they provide plenty of updates and pictures to put parent's minds
at ease. We were a little bit cautious sending our daughter at such a young age, but it has been an amazing experience for her and she has come on leaps and bounds.

We couldn't be happier with our child's nursery. From the very beginning, the team has created such a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment that truly feels like a second home.


The development we've seen in our child has been amazing - not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. They

come home every day happy, confident, and full of stories about what they've learned and explored.

My daughter has been at Nursery Rhymes for just over a year and I only have positive things to say! She settled right in after moving from another nursery, with all of the staff welcoming her and settling her in. She has an incredible bond with her key worker Emma, as well as the other staff both in
class and in the office. The communication back to parents on learning opportunities is always appreciated and the nutritious food goes down a treat, with my daughter often asking me to cook a dish the same way as she has it as school! The premises are amazing and always exceptionally clean. There is just the best feeling in the school and I feel confident that my daughter is getting the best start in life by attending this friendly nursery.

All the team are so helpful and friendly I feel really reassured leaving my son there, they are genuinely interested in his development and when he shows an interest in an activity they go above and beyond to ensure he has the best day.

Our daughter has been attending Nursery Rhymes since she was 11 months old and we can not recommend them enough! From being in the baby room to being seamlessly moved into the toddler room, she looks forward to and enjoys every day there.
All of the team have been wonderful in helping her to settle
into the new environments and are all incredibly caring and attentive.
It is lovely to see her confidence grow through all the fun activities that are provided and we couldn't be happier with the care provided!

We've been so happy with the care our daughter receives here. The team are incredibly warm, caring, and attentive, and it's clear how well they know and support her as an individual.


Communication with us as parents has been excellent - we really appreciate the regular updates through the app, especially

all the photos that show what she's been up to during the day. It's reassuring and lovely to feel so connected.


The nursery environment itself is fantastic - a really thoughtfully designed space with a great layout that encourages play, learning, and exploration. There's always a wide variety of engaging activities, and we especially value the time the children spend outdoors.


Most importantly, our daughter absolutely loves coming here, which says it all. We couldn't ask for a better place for her to grow and thrive.

My little grandson, Rory ,started at stoneygate nursery rhymes last august , aged ten months . Rory settled into the beautiful baby room straight away , being looked after by the very kind and warm staff . We have had lots of updates and photographs so we can see how Rory is getting on . He is very
happy at nursery and has made strong attachments to his key workers. We feel very blessed that attends such a caring and stimulating nursery , we can see how his development in all areas is thriving because of the love and nurture shown to him , each and every day .

We are so pleased that our son attends Nursery Rhymes. He is truly thriving and has come so far since he has started, due to the wonderful staff's dedication and care, the incredible activities that support his development as well as the nutritious meals served. Communication from the team is excellent.
We get timely, thoughtful updates and lovely pictures of our son through the app: from tracking his sleep, recording what he has eaten and pictures that show him truly happy and engaging happily in all sorts of creative activities. We feel truly lucky our son attends NR. The staff are exceptional and have supported our son so well. They are so professional, patient and caring, which has made a huge impact on our child's growing confidence. There is a close family feeling within the nursery, which is one of the reasons I chose to send my son there. We have had the most wonderful experience with Nursery Rhymes. My eldest was in preschool and now my youngest attends baby room. All in we have been attending stoneygate nursery rhymes for the last three years based on someone's recommendation and I'm so glad we did. Staff are friendly and caring and
work to create an environment where our child can thrive and create relationships which he feels comfortable in. They work with you and what you want for your child and those relationships continue as you are always welcomed with warmth and inclusivity. They help alleviate my mum guilt with constant updates and responsiveness. This goes up to management as well who are empathetic, considerate and understanding in my experience. I would recommend here in a heartbeat!

I cannot speak highly enough of Nursery Rhymes. My granddaughter Ayaana, now 16 months old, has attended for around 9 months and the progress she has made is wonderful to see.


The staff are incredible, caring, attentive and excellent at encouraging learning through engaging activities tailored to

each child. They truly understand Ayaana and the communication has been reassuring from the very start.


When I collect her, staff especially Vicky, Chloe and Amberly always speak so fondly of Ayaana. She often wants to stay with them, which says everything about how happy and loved she feels. Regular updates and photos give us a real peace of mind.


As a grandma, I feel completely reassured knowing Ayaana is safe, cared for and thriving.

Our little girl started at this nursery in June 2025 and we honestly couldn't be happier with our choice. The staff are incredibly caring and nurturing, and it's clear they genuinely love and care for the children.


The communication is excellent. We receive regular updates throughout the day via

the app, which is so reassuring as a parent. Handover at drop-off and pick-up is always thorough and thoughtful, and we feel fully informed about our child's day.


Most importantly, our baby has formed such a genuine bond with the staff, which speaks volumes about the warmth and environment of the nursery and also of the individuals that work here especially Vicky, Chloé, Lucy & Amberley. We feel completely confident leaving our child in their care and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.
