Nursery Rhymes - Stoneygate opened under the group name of Nursery Rhymes - Leicester in 2009 and provides quality day care for babies and children from 6 months – 6 years of age in a safe & secure setting, complemented by the nursery's state-of-the-art authorised door entry system and CCTV.
The unique property, on the exclusive leafy Knighton Grange Road bordering Stoneygate and Oadby, is only a 5-10 minute drive from Leicester City Centre along the main (A6) London Road.
Provisions include ICT, quiet room, art and craft, cooking and gardening, music and movement, French, forest schools, singing and stories, water and sand activities and role play.
Your child will be lovingly cared for by qualified, enthusiastic & dedicated staff in a stimulating environment led by the manager who is NNEB qualified and has 14 years' experience in childcare working with children in day nurseries, family centres and schools.
The majority of the great team have been with the setting for well over 5 years, with many being a part of the "Rhymes team" for over 10 years!

Nursery Rhymes has been instrumental in enabling and my wife to continue working while bringing up an infant. They look after the babies like their own. My infant loves the staff and it certainly puts our mind to ease to know she is happy in the nursery which comes from the care delivered by the team at nursery rhymes. Even when we have concerns with the nursery the team are very understanding and implement the necessary changes in a timely manner, taking nothing lightly. My infant has progressed soo much since coming to nursery.
In addition, the introduction of the online parent portal is great and allows us to keep track of events from the day and to look at photos from fun events.
I have no hesitation in recommending Nursery Rhymes.

My third child is currently at Nursery Rhymes (my older two also attended over a period of 5 years) and I couldn't be more pleased with the time that she's spent there. The staff are lovely and really help to give a homely feel that my daughter is more than happy to run in.

Great improvements have been made in the toddler room and the garden activities have been expanded/recently invested in.
The garden is also lovely and very secure.

I cannot recommend Nursery Rhymes enough. We knew this was the nursery for us the minute we stepped through the door and we weren’t disappointed upon our daughter starting. In fact, we have been blown away by the care and support given to her. The staff in the baby room are fantastic and take excellent care of our daughter. She settled in super quick, with little fuss which is a testament to the staff in the baby room. The staff are extremely helpful and will always try to allay any concerns we might have. We also love love love the online parent portal which keeps up updated throughout the day. Thank you for taking such good care of our precious little person.

My son started attending this nursery in December 2017. We have been really impressed from the first visit to the nursery. All the staff were very welcoming and genuinely highly engaged with all the children (evident by the happy children all around). My son’s key nursery nurse has a very calm demeanour and is doing a great job of helping my son settle in. I feel at ease and confident that he is in a homely loving environment My husband and I are very happy with all aspects of the nursery and would struggle to fault it. Parent portal is especially fantastic and updated in a timely manner which is great.
