Nursery Rhymes - Stoneygate opened under the group name of Nursery Rhymes - Leicester in 2009 and provides quality day care for babies and children from 6 months – 6 years of age in a safe & secure setting, complemented by the nursery's state-of-the-art authorised door entry system and CCTV.
The unique property, on the exclusive leafy Knighton Grange Road bordering Stoneygate and Oadby, is only a 5-10 minute drive from Leicester City Centre along the main (A6) London Road.
Provisions include ICT, quiet room, art and craft, cooking and gardening, music and movement, French, forest schools, singing and stories, water and sand activities and role play.
Your child will be lovingly cared for by qualified, enthusiastic & dedicated staff in a stimulating environment led by the manager who is NNEB qualified and has 14 years' experience in childcare working with children in day nurseries, family centres and schools.
The majority of the great team have been with the setting for well over 5 years, with many being a part of the "Rhymes team" for over 10 years!

Just after a few months, I can already see our little one has developed in all areas, knowing he is in a safe environment. Everyone is accommodating helping out when personal circumstances change.
Send your little ones here trust me! there is no one more difficult to impress than me, due to the nature of my job.

I have two children at the nursery and have seen great developments with both. My oldest son started in the baby room and is now in pre-school. He has shown so much progress and is such a confident young boy thanks to Nursery Rhymes. The way the staff have helped him with numbers, the alphabet, months of the year and days of the week is commendable.
My youngest son has just started in the baby room and the staff made him feel very welcome from the start. He has now settled very well into nursery life, always smiling and happy.

My son started at 12 months in the baby room, I have no problem with this nursery. My son is happy and smiling away. Staff are friendly. Moved to the toddler room, learning a lot, lots of toys, the garden is a bonus.

My son started at 12 months in the baby room, I have no problem with this nursery. My son is happy and smiling away. Staff are friendly. Moved to the toddler room, learning a lot, lots of toys, the garden is a bonus.
My son loves the pre-school he was so happy to move over, they have a projector board which he loves and lots of toys. He knows his ABC's, 123's and days of the week etc. I see the difference and I am so glad he is learning a lot, getting ready for school.

Nursery Rhymes is a great nursery! My daughter has been coming here since she was 10 months old and is now ready to leave for school. She has loved her time at nursery and I would recommend the nursery to anyone wanting their child to really blossom. It is a lovely home from home environment with great staff, they are lovely and very friendly which makes it all the better for parents leaving their children.
We will miss Nursery Rhymes very much and have loved seeing my daughter grow from a young girl to miss confident. They are amazing at what they do.

Nursery Rhymes - Leicester is an outstanding nursery for children and I am so glad to have chosen it for my daughter, the setting in process was quite difficult for her at first by the carers were extremely supportive and caring. All the staff genuinely love and care for the children are enthusiastic and encouraging and always welcome the children with a smile. The manager of this nursery has done a fantastic job in making the nursery and it's staff a pleasure to be around. I have two daughters at the nursery who are very happy and developing well. The nursery has a very homely feel to it, which is lacking in most of the neighbouring ones. The staff are really friendly, experienced and you can see the genuine care that they have for the children.

Overall Experience
I have seen an amazing transformation in my daughter, since starting the nursery. She used to be so shy and reserved but now has happily changed and enjoys playing with children and going to nursery. I have seen her confidence go higher and her trying to have conversations with men now.
