Nursery Rhymes - Stoneygate opened under the group name of Nursery Rhymes - Leicester in 2009 and provides quality day care for babies and children from 6 months – 6 years of age in a safe & secure setting, complemented by the nursery's state-of-the-art authorised door entry system and CCTV.
The unique property, on the exclusive leafy Knighton Grange Road bordering Stoneygate and Oadby, is only a 5-10 minute drive from Leicester City Centre along the main (A6) London Road.
Provisions include ICT, quiet room, art and craft, cooking and gardening, music and movement, French, forest schools, singing and stories, water and sand activities and role play.
Your child will be lovingly cared for by qualified, enthusiastic & dedicated staff in a stimulating environment led by the manager who is NNEB qualified and has 14 years' experience in childcare working with children in day nurseries, family centres and schools.
The majority of the great team have been with the setting for well over 5 years, with many being a part of the "Rhymes team" for over 10 years!

The staff have been brilliant with settling in my 11 month old and also toilet training my 2 year old. My son loves getting ready for nursery and is always talking about the staff when we get home. The eldest has been attending Nursery Rhymes for about a year and we're really impressed with his development. The staff are always very friendly and professional and we love that we can walk in and see what the boys are up to (usually something fun). Also, the new extension is fabulous, very light and inviting.

Nursery Rhymes has helped us with her childcare, they always have a space for her in case we need due to our jobs.
I couldn't think of any other better place for her.

My daughter absolutely loves it at Nursery Rhymes - Leicester, she is always happy and smiley and has settled so well. After my two other children were at another nursery where I was not happy, I chose Nursery Rhymes and I am so happy I did. The staff are all so lovely and everyone seems to get on which means the atmosphere is calm and friendly. It's a hard decision to make to leave your child with someone else, Nursery Rhymes takes the worry and stress out of it. Thank you!

My daughter hasn't been at nursery rhymes very long but we are already very impressed. She has settled in and has formed attachments with the team, her key worker in particular. I work as a health visitor so We had a good idea of what we expected from a nursery. We visited many nurseries that felt OK / satisfactory but Nursery rhymes have exceeded our expectations in every way. For me, it's the little things that you think only a parent will do or notice nursery rhymes staff will do without being asked or prompted. The staff are all very warm, caring and knowledgeable. The environment is clean homely and calm.
I would highly recommend nursery rhymes to friends and family alike. We feel lucky to have found such a fantastic nursery for our daughter to grow, learn and play.

My son started Nursery Rhymes at the age of 3 after I was concerned about his progress at his previous setting. It was the best decision I have ever made and am so glad I made the change. He has flourished and progressed beyond his years! I know this is down to the setting at Nursery Rhymes and the dedication of the teaching staff. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and can say I have always been greeted with a smile at 8am or 6pm! Keep up the good work girls!

I have two children at the nursery and have seen great developments with both. My oldest son started in the baby room and is now in pre-school. He has shown so much progress and is such a confident young boy thanks to Nursery Rhymes. The way the staff have helped him with numbers, the alphabet, months of the year and days of the week is commendable.
My youngest son has just started in the baby room and the staff made him feel very welcome from the start. He has now settled very well into nursery life, always smiling and happy.

My son loves the pre-school he was so happy to move over, they have a projector board which he loves and lots of toys. He knows his ABC's, 123's and days of the week etc. I see the difference and I am so glad he is learning a lot, getting ready for school.

Nursery Rhymes is a great nursery! My daughter has been coming here since she was 10 months old and is now ready to leave for school. She has loved her time at nursery and I would recommend the nursery to anyone wanting their child to really blossom. It is a lovely home from home environment with great staff, they are lovely and very friendly which makes it all the better for parents leaving their children.
We will miss Nursery Rhymes very much and have loved seeing my daughter grow from a young girl to miss confident. They are amazing at what they do.

Nursery Rhymes - Leicester is an outstanding nursery for children and I am so glad to have chosen it for my daughter, the setting in process was quite difficult for her at first by the carers were extremely supportive and caring. All the staff genuinely love and care for the children are enthusiastic and encouraging and always welcome the children with a smile. The manager of this nursery has done a fantastic job in making the nursery and it's staff a pleasure to be around.
