Buttercups at Chiswick Lane

Buttercups at Chiswick Lane is an incredible place. The emphasis on Montessori activities and outside learning sets it apart from other nurseries in the area. The teachers are committed to the children and in turn, the children love being there. The nurturing and supportive environment helps the children flourish.

Our daughter has attended Buttercups Nursery since she was one. We could not be happier with the dedication and care they have provided. The staff are attentive, caring, respectful and great fun. Buttercups and Homefields has a great outdoor extension used for forest school activities which is fantastic for energetic toddlers.

We have been very happy with this lovely nursery for several years now - our son went there first and now our daughter (who is 3). They have a Montessori room with lots of stimulating activities for the pre-schoolers and a lovely big room for the younger ones to learn and play. The garden is fantastic: a huge outdoor space (especially for London), with a covered part so the children can still get fresh air when it rains, and the amazing Forest School facility. Both of our children love being outside so this was a huge draw for us. The biggest attraction, however, is the staff. They are kind, caring, knowledgeable, creative and fun and even though both of ours were a little reluctant at the beginning, they handled the transition (and a worried mummy!) with confidence and kindness. It wasn’t long at all before they both loved it! And they have done a brilliant job during the pandemic - remaining positive and providing the children with a safe and happy space. I would highly recommend!

This Forest School is just amazing! All the staff are extremely professional and kind with the kids. The children are looking so happy they are never bored as the variety of activities keeps them engaged. They have lots of outdoor activities and outdoor learning, they make lots of fun things that they bring home especially some colourings. It is wonderful to see the little ones spend their days playing in the woods and hunting for minibeasts just what they should do at their age.

The Buttercups at Chiswick Lane nursery is truly one-of-a-kind and something you don't find often in London. Large outdoor space, a forest school, lots of creative Montessori activities and - most importantly - incredible teachers. Our son looks forward to the nursery every day, he is inspired by all the activities and loves the nurturing nursery environment. I would highly recommend it if you're considering Buttercups for your child.

We find Buttercups at Homefields to be a friendly and welcoming environment. The children are nurtured, engaged in fun and stimulating activities and they have an excellent outdoor space and garden for the children to explore and develop their personal growth. Our son joined this nursery last month. He had a gradual settling in period over two weeks where the staff supported us through this transition. We are delighted to see our son happy and thriving and so wonderfully cared for by all the staff here.

We love Buttercups Homefields. The staff are lovely with the children and really care. My daughter has come on so much since starting there, I'm often shocked at the things she knows and has learned.

We are extremely happy with Homefields and importantly our son is also very happy there. The nursery and staff are full of joy and we have every confidence that our son’s development in every aspect is in excellent hands. The outside space is incredible (especially for London). I often have to ask for adhoc extra sessions due to freelance and unpredictable work and their accommodation of this has been amazing. We feel very lucky to have found this nursery and love seeing how our son is growing, maturing and learning from his time there.

My kids love their nursery. We are so happy that they get to spend their days surrounded by love and fun activities. It is like a second home for them.

There is always a friendly face to greet you in the morning. Thank you Buttercups for making my children's early learning experience so memorable.

My daughter has a wonderful time in the nursery. She learned so many things from her teachers. The management team is great and considerate. They always accommodate my last minute requests. The management check emails on weekends and out of office hours too.

My husband and I are happy with the nursery and our child seems glad to attend. She is developing all the milestone skills of kids her age and I noticed how she started to pick up new words, songs and games that she clearly hears there.

The staff are friendly and caring, and I'm especially satisfied by the fact that activities involving parents are organised regularly.

Occasionally staff turnover can happen unexpectedly and maybe the management should try to work to prevent any disruption caused by reduced staff number.

Great caring staff, excellent outside facilities, Forest School is a big plus.

All in all, a great nursery.

Our son has always been happy since joining this nursery. He goes in with a big smile and enjoys his time especially in the garden. The staff are very caring and pay attention to every detail, they carefully respect our wishes when it comes to our preferences and the way we want our son to be cared for. It really feels like leaving him with another member of the family. The staff at this nursery truly care for the children and I wouldn't change this nursery for the world. The managers are friendly and accommodating and extremely professional.
