Little Cricket's Nursery has been amazing for our daughter. The staff are so warm and attentive, the smaller setting means they truly know her and what she needs. She loves the fun activities and her speech has improved so much since joining. We are so grateful for the care and personal attention she
gets here. The dedication, kindness and nurturing environment the team have created is helping our daughter thrive.

Having made the decision to transfer my daughter from her previous nursery it became very clear straight away we had made the correct decision.
Gabriellas rapid change in everything from her willingness to be at little crickets 24/7 if she could have pulled it off. To her mannerisms becoming that of
a very polite little girl was astounding. The attentiveness of the staff at the nursery is magnificent. They have all looked after my daughter over the past several months and it has been a pleasure to watch her develop each week. I couldn't recommend little crickets enough and we are so excited to watch Gabriella grown into the next journey of her academic career at Argyle House School

We have our 2 children now in the school (nearly 2 years old & 4 years old). They both absolutely love the school and following a transition from a previous nursery both have thrived in such a positive, supporting and caring environment from the whole school team.
Our youngest's development has come
on leaps & bounds helping him in all ways (counting, reading, awareness of the world to name a few). The care from all the staff at the school has been amazing to see. I am sure that they will ensure he reaches his full potential whilst setting him up for school life in future.
Our oldest is currently in kindergarten, we have been amazed by not only her development academically but the number of extra activities she has been involved in such as the nativity, swimming lessons, days out to the theatre & ballet. Her writing, reading, arithmetic & creative skills have developed at a rapid rate. She often tells us how much she loves school, learning & is looking forward to starting reception.
Reply from Donna Blackmore, Nursery Manager at Little Crickets Nursery (at Argyle House School)Thank you so much for your kind words. It has been a pleasure to welcome both children to Little Crickets Nursery.

We honestly have had the most incredible experience at Brackenfield nursery. We have 2 children in the nursery. The staff go above and beyond daily and both our children run in to nursery every day.

One of my children have had a few health issues and the staff have been incredible helping him through

when he's been in pain and working with us on it.

The staff are always SO welcoming, friendly. My children are settled, happy and thriving. We couldn't have asked for a better nursery.

My daughter is thriving at Brackenfield. The nursery team are extraordinary in every sense - nurturing, imaginative, funny, creative, energetic, patient, and intelligent - giving each child the space to discover their own interests in a warm, sociable setting.
From the moment she arrived her language
and confidence transformed, she's a much less fussy eater, and she's forming some beautiful relationships with her peers. Every evening we're regaled with animated stories about the games, role plays and activities she's been getting stuck into along with piles of artwork and projects.
Whether or not you intend for your children to continue up the school, Brackenfield Nursery is an incredibly special place - I've already signed up my ten month old to join when he turns two.

This is a wonderful nursery. My son has been attending since Jan 2025 and he loves going in and bounces out happily too. It blows my mind everyday how much vocabulary that he has picked up and how much he is actively learning in terms of numeracy and literacy at such a young age. The team are warm and
friendly, and incredibly professional. My son recites all their names on the way in. Thoroughly recommend!

We moved our son and daughter from another local nursery, to Brackenfield and I cannot recommend them more. I only wish we had of known about Brackenfield earlier! The staff, combined with the setting of the school, are faultless.

The care, attention and love given to the children is exceptional.

They develop incredible bonds with the staff. Our son had never really settled in the other nursery, and so we were very apprehensive & worried as we wanted to ensure was his happiness, and within a week, he was thriving.

Brackenfield nursery is a hidden gem in Harrogate.

We currently have one son in nursery, and our other had attended before moving into the main school. All the staff are so welcoming each day, caring and invested in ensuring the best for our boys, as of other children which has been comforting to know. Brackenfield nursery has always been accommodating

We recently moved our son to Brackenfield from another nursery, and the difference has been incredible. The team has so much experience and every teacher has been keen to get to know A and understand the things that make him feel happy and supported. Forest school is such a winner - he's such an outdoors
boy, so is very much in his element there, and has even been proudly telling us the French words he's learned ('Ouiseau' was brilliantly surprising!) The overall environment is warm, welcoming and feels super safe - we're so glad we made the move.

Brackenfield Nursery is wonderful. I have three children and have tried a few nurseries in Harrogate over the years but none compare. The team aren't just staff members, they are part of the Brackenfield family and community, it's evident it's not just a job to them but part of their lives and you really
feel very secure as a parent leaving you child with them. Knowing they'll have fun learning, exploring and feeling part of something special & a happy environment.
My middle son, also went and loved it and now my youngest asks, even on a weekend if he can to go to nursery because he's so happy there. Also because he has an older sibling & cousin in the school, all the year groups above look out for him, it's just lovely.
The teaching, variety of activities and facilities are great too - whether music or forest school, painting or reading they've got it covered. Always welcomed with a smile and always so positive at pick up. Highly recommended.

My daughter has spent the last two years at this wonderful nursery. The staff are caring and attentive. They ensure the children are nurtured as individuals and having the wider school environment has given the opportunity for learning in a fun and constructive way. Music and drama has been top-notch.
