It's hard to put into words just how grateful we are to everyone at the nursery. Our son started here when he was just 8 months old, and now, as he gets ready to leave preschool and begin his next adventure, we're feeling incredibly emotional.

Leaving my tiny baby to return to work was one of the hardest things, but from day one, every single member of staff made me feel completely at ease. Knowing he was in such loving, caring, and capable hands meant everything to me.

Over the years, every teacher he has had has been absolutely amazing. They have helped him grow into the happy, confident, kind, and curious little boy he is today. The care, patience, encouragement, and genuine love they show every child is truly special, and we will always be thankful for everything they have done for him.

The nursery has been such a huge part of our lives for the past few years, and saying goodbye is going to be incredibly sad. We will miss all of the wonderful staff so much!!

Magnolia Tree is such a brilliant nursery! Our daughter has grown up there, arriving as a one year old all the way through to leaving for school as an independent 4 year old. The staff have been outstanding, friendly and highly supportive of our daughter, especially in her final year. The garden has grown and expanded into a lovely space since we've been there complete with pond, allotment and renovated, clean and safe play area. I only deducted a star as I would like to have seen more trips outside of the nursery, a switch back to the old app which was more user friendly and the inside flooring and decor is a bit tired although I know budgets are always difficult. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery it has been an incredible experience for us. We will really miss you!

I highly recommend Hassocks Day nursery it is a fantastic nursery the care and love the children receive is phenomenal and the setting especially the outside space in the garden is wonderful

My child has had a wonderful time at hassocks day nursery. The staff have been fantastic- understanding, empathetic and supportive throughout. Facilities are great with lots of outside time. The settling in sessions have been what sets this nursery apart from the rest in my opinion, gradual, personalised and prioritising bond. No handing over a screaming child and walking away. My child loves going to nursery and it has been such a weight off knowing how happy they are there, thank you.

Our son has been attending here since Feb 2026 and he has settled really well. He is always involved in fun sensory activities throughout the day, whether it's with water or sand and my son specifically loves playing in the garden. His room leader is amazing with him and she always posts updates about his day. We're really grateful of the connections our son has made during his time there, which has helped grow his confidence and social development. His room leader also completes growth assessments regularly which are always personal and very detailed. He just loves it there but specifically he loves his room leader cause he knows when she's there he's gonna have the best day ever!

My little boy started in April '26 and after a few sad drop offs my boy has settled so well. Staff are caring and really get to know him. Having been an early years educator myself I knew what I was looking for in a setting and they really delivered. The feedback I get is meaningful and care he receives is superb. Each week I get an overview of what activities he's done and each day a few photos of him playing and doing those activities. The care put behind each activity is really helping my son excel. Thank you to the baby room staff Ellie and Shannon (his fabulous key worker) you are amazing!

My son has been at Magnolia tree since 11 months old and is now in the pre-school class. Since starting at the setting he has always come home with a smile, telling us about his day and all his friends. His development has been excellent in the setting from learning sign language when he was in the baby room to his speech in the toddler room and now in pre school he is counting, learning about the wider world. We had picked magnolia tree for the large garden space, opportunity to grow plants and vegetables plus the fact they offered the extra prophetic classes (my son gets very excited about Robot Reg day). The staff know our family well and with our daughter soon to be joining makes the transition comforting, my son has always been happy laugnursery manager Steph is a great leader organising time for families to come in and see first hand, whether it's in the garden for a picnic or Christmas activities. It's mid tier in costs but the options of what you can apply funding too is great

Both of our children have attended Magnolia Tree over the last 4 years - they had a wonderful time! We have really appreciated how the nursery staff have supported our children's development and helping to shape the curiosity and appreciation of the world around them.

My son has been at the Nest since 15 months' old and he LOVES it! It took a month (ish) for him to stop crying at drop-off and the staff were always so calm and warm with him (and me) and now he walks in happily. It feels like the staff take an attachment driven child-led approach with focus on nurturing relationships. I have also been very impressed at his vocabulary development and he's always ate and slept well there too (I was especially doubtful about the sleep as that can be a challenge at home). I'm impressed at how well all the staff know him and it's really helpful to have the run down of all their different activites, sleep and food each day at pick up, they always get out into the garden and to the play village each day, with other developmental, sensory activities which is great for a very active toddler. They've had a few trips to the park and imagine more outings to come in summer times too. Would hightly recommend to other parents.

I have been really happy and grateful for this nursery for my 15 month old. The staff are always very friendly and my daughter responds really well to them. They do a variety of really interesting activities, go out in their spacious garden almost daily, provide healthy, varied meals and give very thorough handovers. My daughter settled in quickly and I feel completely at ease leaving her in their capable hands.

My son has been at the Nest since February 2026. We are thrilled with how he is being cared for and he settled so quickly. The have helped us to get him into a sleeping routine, to ween properly and they have been so supportive in these past months. Each day we get a detailed and personalised run down of how he has been, what he ate, how he slept and what activities they have done. There are so many varied and considered activities that they do each day, with a strong focus on developmental activities for his age. He happily goes to each staff member and all of them seem to know him well.

Our son has been at Magnolia Tree 3x/week since 9 months old, and really loves it. We love the daily photo updates, and hearing about all of the activities he gets to do. His development has exploded, and we are amazed at how much he seems to learn at nursery. We are very appreciative to be able to have early drop-off and late pick-up, as this really helps us with work. Huge thank you to all of the staff at Magnolia Tree for helping our son to flourish.

The morning handover is always kept positive and calm as is the pick up, where the staff go through their day, everything they ate, how they slept and what they did. I'm always very impressed with how knowledgeable they are, and I leave knowing my son has had lots of fun! I would highly recommend this nursery, I'm very happy and my son absolutely loves it!

Our daughter joined the nursery in 2024 and she has developed so well and we are delighted with the quality of her care.

The staff go out of their way to put on different activities for the children each day and keep us informed. They understand the children as individuals and give them a positive, structured routine.

We feel very lucky to have found a nursery that we have faith in and our daughter looks forward to going each day. Would happily recommend to others.

After a year of maternity leave, I was very nervous sending my child to nursery. I didn't know what to expect and I just wanted the transition to be pain free and give me confidence. The staff at House on the Dials immediately put me at ease. They are caring and diligent and have always gone above and beyond in their professionalism. This sector does not get the recognition it deserves. My children are happy to go in and that's been one of many signs that we chose the right nursery.
