My daughter has just started here and I am so happy with the level of care she gets. She is always so happy and gets to experience so much. It makes leaving her feel easy.
The variety of food she gets is great and always smells so good.
The outdoor space is huge and a big reason for choosing the setting!

Nurtured@Wakefield is a truly wonderful place for our son. He has made great friends with all his peers, and really likes all the staff who are attentive to his needs and of all the kids. The food is varied, my son eats well. The way they play as a group outside in particular is lovely, their play space
is beautiful.


The updates on the app are clear and helpful, and they do a great job giving us fun interactions such as little videos of the activities, which are plentiful.

Our son moved to the nursery in January at just 1 year old and has had the best experience since. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about him, which really shows. We love the regular updates on the app and seeing the lovely photos throughout the day. He absolutely loves the food too!


He's

just starting a baby sound bath this term, which feels above and beyond what we expected, and we can't wait to see what else he gets up to. We're so glad we chose this nursery and would highly recommend it.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. From the very beginning, the staff have been so caring, patient, and genuinely invested in our son's happiness and development. He has settled in beautifully and absolutely loves going in, which says everything as a parent.


The team create such a warm, nurturing

environment and always keep us well informed about his progress, activities, and milestones. It's clear how much thought and effort goes into helping the children learn, grow, and feel safe and confident.


Knowing our son is happy, supported, and cared for so well gives us complete peace of mind. We're incredibly grateful for everything the staff do and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent x

Overall excellent nursery! I've tried and tested loads of nurseries throughout the years and this one is by far the best! Great communication from staff on little one's day, lots of activities and never had any issues. Keep it up!

It started with the settling in session, I thought we were going to struggle with transition, so I sat in with her and she stayed in my lap mostly, exploring the room but always coming back, staff kept engaging with her but never tried to lure her away, recall this first meet, then they had a little
huddle for songs and to my surprise she got off my lap and nestled on a lovely carers lap, she checked on me intermittently but never came back to stay with me. It was unreal for me to watch but my heart was at peace and it has been since. I'm up to date with her meals, what her day was like, I get to see what she likes..it's a truly phenomenal team they've got, didn't even mention how stress free it was enrolling her, the admin staff are phenomenal too. I know I'm gushing but you would too with this team. I'm thrilled she's so comfortable there.

Our daughter has been attending since she was a baby, she has made her way through all the rooms and has loved spending time with the staff of each room.

She is engaged every-time she goes and has loads to tell me at the end of her day.


The staff always make a fuss of her when she arrives on

a morning in, more often than not, her party dresses! (Who has time to argue at the time on a morning!!)


She has had a couple of issue with behaviour throughout her time at the nursery because of big emotions, and we have worked closely with the staff to come up with plans to help her understand her emotions and control them in a way that keeps everyone safe and happy.


We can't thank the staff enough for taken such good care of our little girl.

He always has lots of activities to enjoy each week and always is happy to be there. The staff are always amazing with keeping us updated with how our
child spends his day through observations and picture updates, which always makes us feel so happy to know he's having such a wonderful time.

I was very nervous about her starting at nursery having poured my heart and soul into her care. We wanted the best for her and handing over her care three days a week initially felt quite scary.


We are now 6 months into her nursery experience and the love, care and passion the entire team show her

is genuinely incredible. The thought that goes into the activities they do everyday with the children is so obvious and the DAILY if not more updates I receive are one of the best parts of my day. Photos, videos and lots of information on what she has been up to and how that meets her developmental needs.
Today I received 3 or 4 updates - I have friends in another local nursery who receive 1 every 3-4 weeks!


She has developed so much since joining the nurtured gang; her speech, mobility, personality, social skills - all 100% aided by the work the team do. And when we pick her up, they always have a smile on their face and have lots to say.

Our little girl started at 9 months old in June 2025 and absolutely loves going to nursery! She had a short while of being unsure but the staff in the baby room went above and beyond to help her settle. The communication is excellent, we receive updates throughout the day and photos at the end of every
day so we know what Nancy has eaten, how long she has slept and all the fun activities she has taken part in. There are lots of themes and events to keep her stimulated and learning, the meals are varied and balanced and she always gets involved in everything! The baby team are a huge credit to the nursery

Nurtured @ Skelmanthorpe is absolutely wonderful. The staff are so caring, friendly, and genuinely interested in every child's wellbeing and development. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can really see how much thought goes into the activities and learning opportunities each day. My child
loves going and always comes home happy and full of stories about what they've done. The communication with parents is excellent too - you always feel involved and reassured. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough!

All of the team at Nurtured Skelmanthorpe are amazing. My son joined later on than most children, and I was amazed at how quickly they got to know him and worked out exactly what was needed to help him grow and flourish. They put a lot of effort, care and thought into everything that they do, going
above and beyond what would be expected. My son loved going every day, and I always knew he was being looked after by people who genuinely care.

We couldn't recommend nurtured enough. All the staff are lovely and go above and beyond. An example of this is when our son came down with chicken pox, the manager gave lots of really helpful and friendly advice when she didn't have to which just goes to show how caring all the staff really are. The
Nursery provide lots of extra curricular activities for the children, which are all amazing! Our son always has a big smile on his face when we arrive to pick him up and is always excited to go!

We feel so lucky that our son goes to Nurtured, since he started in May, he has loved going! We have seen massive improvements in his confidence with trying new activities, learning new words and learning new skills daily.
The staff at nurtured are amazing, they always ensure good communication of
what our son is up to at nursery and keep us updated on everything we need to be. All the staff have such lovely bonds with the children. We always feel so supported by the staff at Nurtured and they create such a homely feel, full of fun for the children!
The nursery chef is also lovely, and all of the food that she makes is nutritious and homemade, which is a big bonus. We always feel confident in knowing that our child is eating well on his days at nursery.
Nurtured is perfect for us and most importantly, our son loves it! We can't thank all of the staff enough for how they care for our little boy!

We have honestly had the best experience with Nurtured at Skelmanthorpe since my daughter started in May. They really put me at ease knowing she was looked after while I went back to work after maternity leave. The staff are so lovely and you can tell they genuinely love looking after the children.
I always get picture updates to see what she gets up to and how much fun she is having. If I could put her in more days I would as I can see how much they are helping with her development and she loves it!

We have been attending this nursery since January 2025, we have other family members that have been here and I couldn't imagine being anywhere else! The staff go above and beyond for the children and the parents. My daughter has flourished being here and it's being a huge help going back into work.
We use a app so we can keep on track how the children are doing throughout the day and you can contact the staff so easily as well other things, if you want the best start in education for your children I would highly recommend here

Caring and nurturing staff. Great facilities. Lovely natural and calming environment across all the ages.
They encourage exploring and trying new things, while prioritising each child's needs. Outdoor play and trips to places is a regular part of nursery life.

My littlest one started this month and has settled so well in to the baby room. Staff are great at keeping us updated and the activities look amazing! We are so happy we chose Nurtured @ Wakefield!
The chef is amazing at catering to all needs, my little one has started weaning and he's so helpful
with advice and tips!
My eldest comes to the holiday club and loves all the trips!
This nursery really does go above and beyond for their children.

My daughter is in the baby room at this nursery and she absolutely loves it. She's settled so well and has hit so many more milestones since starting. She has really good relationships with the staff and plays well with the other kids.

Very happy with the setting and staff at Nurtured Wakefield. The facilities are excellent and my grandson is looked after by the staff and enjoys the time he has there with all the other babies and children.
