We couldn't be happier with our son's experience at this nursery, this is our second son who has attended the setting and we had no hesitations in him following in his brothers footsteps. From the very beginning, the staff have been welcoming, caring, and genuinely invested in his development and happiness.
He has grown so much in confidence, communication, and social skills, and it's clear he feels safe and supported in their care, always leaving with a smile on his face. The activities are engaging and well thought out, encouraging learning through play while also nurturing creativity and independence, leading with true Montessori ethos. As parents, it's incredibly reassuring to know he is looked after by such lovely people. We are truly grateful for the positive impact this nursery has had on our son and would highly recommend it to other families.

We have had children in Colourbox at Cherry Trees since 2021 until now & have nothing but good things to say about the nursery & our children love it there. The staff are wonderful and very caring, and I feel safe taking them there!

Colourbox Montessori Nursery is a wonderful place. From the very first days, the staff made our daughter feel safe and supported as she settled in. Now she is so excited to see her key workers. The nursery is calm, creative, and nurturing, and you can tell that the staff genuinely care about each child.
They
celebrate all kinds of milestones, big and small, and encourage independence and curiosity. Communication with parents is excellent with daily updates, photos, and regular check-ins. Every activity, every corner of the nursery, is carefully thought through, and our daughter has grown so much in confidence, language, and life skills. We feel nothing but gratitude for the love, skill, and care she receives every day.

Our son has such a great time at nursery and has learnt lots of new skills since he joined in November. He loves playing both inside and outside and taking part in all the weekly activities. We're really happy :-).

My daughter started in the nursey in July and has settled beautifully. This is all thanks to the amazing, caring staff and nurturing environment. It has been recently renovated and looks inviting and homely. The nursery provide daily updates on my daughters activities and food intake. They are reassuring
and offer 1:1 meetings to discuss her development in a termly manner. We are always made aware of changes well in advance- like menu changes or staff changes, and have been able to book extra sessions when needed. The admin team are also always pleasant and quick to reply to enquiries.
My daughter comes home talking about the practitioners like they're her friends.
I am so happy we secured her space here and looking forward to watching her ongoing journey through the rooms at Colour box- Cherry Trees.

Our journey with Colourbox Barrow started in 2022 when our son started at the Nest. He went through Garden and World Room before starting school last September and we felt so emotional about him moving on, as his time with Colourbox was consistently wonderful in every way. Our little girl joined in
2023 and is now in the Garden Room. Again we are constantly blown away by the level of care, positivity, kindness and education that she benefits from at this nursery. The Colourbox Barrow team members are exactly the people know you can completely trust to do the absolute best for your children and are exceptional at what they do. I also want to reference the quality of the food as this is something really important to us. They provide home cooked, balanced meals that our children have both loved. I would recommend this nursery highly and without hesitation to anyone.

We have been so impressed with Colourbox Haverhill, where our 18 month old daughter attends the Nest. There is truly nothing I would change about this place, where I feel our daughter is taken care of so well and is thriving. She can't wait to get there and see the staff, who know her so well and always
seem so happy to see her, and from day one I felt confident leaving her in their expert care. They are flexible in terms of her needs and have always been accommodating with keeping her routines and helpfully engaging with things like personal care. Each day she comes home having done so much: going in the garden, taken part in different arts and crafts, read stories, played with dolls or other toys and is learning new skills all the time like dressing herself and putting her shoes on etc. Everyone knows her by name and it is truly her place, she waves and chats to everyone. If I am lucky enough to have more children I would love to send them there. I would recommend it to anyone.

Choosing a nursery is never easy - and with a child who has a complex heart condition requiring daily, life-preserving medication, it felt overwhelming. Our biggest worry was whether anyone could safely manage her medical needs.
From day one, Colourbox Barrow completely reassured us. The staff are
warm, nurturing and highly knowledgeable. They took the time to understand her condition fully, and management are always proactive with any changes to her care. We have never doubted that she is safe.
The blend of Montessori principles with the standard early years curriculum creates a rich, balanced environment. The facilities are excellent, the team are flexible and accommodating, and our daughter has truly thrived. Her development, confidence and independence have flourished.
We are so grateful - it's a shame she has to leave for school!

This is a fantastic caring nursery for our two children. We have always felt they have supported and cared for the children in their care and have no hesitation to recommend the nursery to other parents. Both our children have flourished under the care of the staff and have grown as independent individuals

Both of our children have attended ColourBox in Haverhill (one still attends) and we have been really pleased with the nursery. The teachers are attentive and caring and our children come out to greet us every day with a big smile on their face.

Our daughter has been at Colourbox Haverhill for the last year and absolutely loves it. The staff are wonderful - so warm and friendly. The facilities are great - and every day they seem to do something new to keep the children engaged, from crafts and sensory activities to baking and outdoor play.

Colourbox is an amazing nursery, my son has autism and hardly spoke when he started nursery almost 2 years ago and the progress he has made since being at Colourbox is amazing. The teachers go above and beyond not only for the children but to also support parents like myself. My son has an amazing bond
with some amazing teachers and is always so so happy to go to nursery. If it wasn't for the teachers and their love for helping children progress my son wouldn't be where he is today absolutely chatting away! Thank you so much for being so caring and great at what you do! I would recommend this nursery to any parent!!

Our daughter has been at Barrow since she was 11 months old starting in the nest, moving into the garden room and now in their world room. She absolutely loves her days at nursery and the care she receives has been exceptional. The staff have been so wonderful and she talks about them all the time at

My daughter LOVES Colourbox! She's been going since she was four months old and the whole team have been amazing with her since day one. She smiles everyday she goes there and often hugs her teachers as soon as we drop her off. Her development is amazing, loads of my friends and family have commented
on how advanced she is. She eats so well and has such a nice routine.
The teachers have also been so supportive of me (a first time mum who has no idea what she is doing). Anytime I have a question or a worry they are always so warm and helpful.
I couldn't recommend Colourbox enough! It was worth every penny and then some.

My son started at colourbox last February. He is my first child so of course the transition to nursery was tough for me and him but the girls were amazing, they kept me updated constantly and were happy for me to call as much as I needed to stop worrying. My little boy loves nursery now, he often asks
for the team members over the weekend and gets so excited to see them when we walk to drop off. He is thriving there and its a pleasure to see. Very lucky to have them so close to us!

All teachers are really patient and kind, they are support learning table manners also meals ( lunch) is homemade cooked, my son did enjoy food at nursery, a lot of activities to choose inside and outside. A big forest school area is a great advantage as not many places can offer it. Also kids spending
a lot of time outside if they willing too. Our son did enjoy go to the nursery. Is a great place for kids to learn they independence before Primary School.

I couldn't be happier with this nursery. My daughter started when she was just 7.5 months old, and her journey has been truly amazing. She has learned so much, and it's wonderful to see how confident and independent she has become, a real reflection of how beautifully the children are nurtured.
I recently
spent a morning at a Forest School session with the Sky Room, and it was such a special experience. Watching the children learn through nature and being involved as a parent was lovely and really meaningful.
The staff create such a warm, caring, and supportive environment, and my daughter is always happy and excited to go.
I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

My son has been attending Colourbox since September 2025. Since his first day he has been so happy to go in for every session. He comes home singing all of the nursery songs and his speech has improved massively. All of the staff are incredibly kind, patient and genuinely caring. They make him feel
safe, love and supported everyday. He has learnt their names and speaks about them all at home.
Communication is great and i always feel reassured knowing how his day has been and what he's been up to. he's come on so much since being there and it's clear how much effort the staff put into helping each child.
