I would like to appreciate the team at New Milton for looking after my daughter since she was 9 months.
On admission at FF nursery She met Lucy, who was her key worker. My daughter became so attached to Lucy, however the team at the nursery gently managed to break the bond.
I would like to thank
Nicola and Jodie for their dedication in ensuring that our babies are safe.
Please l, when looking for a nursery always consider how many falls babies have in their care.
My daughter joined FF nursery September 2024. She has had only 3 very minor falls.
Through their care & support she was able to count 1-10, 1-5 backwards, ABC -Z at just 22 months.
Her pen/pencil grip is excellent

Our son joined First Friends in Holybourne when it first opened in December. All the staff members were amazing with him, were confident and helped him to settle very quickly. We've been so impressed with the nursery ever since! They go out and about often, stay active with mindful movements every week
and put so much effort into their activities and provision. A lot of these are linked to key calendar events, for instance exploring Chinese New Year, and they have the most amazing chef who cooks food related to these events (like pancakes on shrove Tuesday) and comes out and also bakes with the children too! Communication has always been great and after a wonderful renovation, their facilities and provision are fab! We are very thankful for the effort, time and care. They really do provide a service better than any other we have experienced before!

Both of my boys have attended preschool at First Friends Nursery School and they have absolutely loved their time there. One is still attending it and he always talks highly of the staff there. They do alot of different activities everyday and keep the children engaged. Also share pictures for parents
to see how their day went. I am really happy with them and appreciate all they do for our children.

When my son started at the nursery, initially it was a battle to get him in on his 2 days a week, thanks to the lovely team of ladies he now walks in without a look back.
No matter the weather the girls seem to manage to get the children outside (if they wish) which is very much loved by my child.
The ladies are approachable and appear to work as a great team which gives a great atmosphere to send my child to their Nursery.

Its been wonderful to hear our granddaughter come home from nursery telling us how much fun she has had and that she wanted to go back and play with her friends. She is always so excited to see her friends and also the carers who she is genuinely very fond of. Everyday they do something new and ensure
theres lots of fresh air and healthy lunches. Trips to the library etc. The experience is perfect for an entry into school life in the future. We couldnt wish for a more inclusive and caring group of ladies who manage the nursery. The updates daily enable the family to relax knowing she is in safe hands.

Although my daughter has only been attending this nursery for a couple of weeks, it's been brilliant and she's settling in well. After a bad experience with previous childcare, this has come as a big relief.
The onboarding process was easy and communication with us is great. The team seem to really
care about her individual needs and happiness.
The staff also appreciate it is hard to leave your little one, they respond to messages with friendly reassurance and take the time to debrief at the end of the day.
My daughter looks like she gets up to a lot of fun and gets to try lots of creative (messy!!) activities.
The nursery is lovely and fresh, the equipment is new and up-to-date.
So far so good!

My son has a lovely time at the Nest, and loves the staff who take care of him. He has learned so much since he started! First Friends Alton are an amazing team of early years specialists. They have made my son feel welcome and safe since day 1. He has been there just over a year now and he loves going in every day. The activities are inclusive, fun and educational, he loves telling us all about his day. We love all the
programmes they run especially mindfulness as this has helped our son understand his emotions really well. We are kept up to date with his progress and love the hand overs at the end of the day hearing what they have been up to! We couldn't be happier with our choice to send our son here.

Our little one has been at First Friends for 2 weeks and I cannot believe the difference in his behaviour since moving him from another nursery. I am genuinely happy with my child's progress so far. But I wish there would be a better way of giving information about what to expect and what is going on. I always check the the app to find out when school starts for September 2025 session and couldn't find any information. I had to call the school
and I was advised to check social media. What if I am not on social media?
I sincerely wish information is shared either in a messaging group app for parents or the app.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. My son settled in so quickly and absolutely loves it there. He's offered 5 nutritious meals a day and staff are happy to adapt to his routine. They've been especially supportive of his naps which have changed as he gets older!
They do lots of play outside and always do fun activities! My son comes home happy every day!

Even though my daughter has only been at Denmead for a month and she absolutely loves it. She runs in every day and on some days without a 'goodbye' for mummy or daddy. First friends Denmead has been the perfect setting in the area for our daughter. All members of staff adhere to professional practices, and discussions on allergies do not phase them. The children enjoy a good range of activities and outdoor play, which is seen in regular updates on the app and fb page.
I'm very happy with the progress in learning my daughter is receiving and happy faces all round! Thank you for creating such a wonderful environment. Superstars!!
