First Friends Day Nursery - New Milton is situated in the grounds of New Milton Junior School, but has its own entrance to the main nursery, without entering the school grounds.
The purpose built building offers exciting and stimulating opportunities for children to learn, play and explore.
Children will enjoy age specific activities lead by a caring and dedicated staff team to ensure each child becomes a happy, healthy and confident individual.
Funding & Fees
Prices start from £40.50 per half-day session to £85.50 for a full-day session.
These prices include our hot, delicious food (cooked fresh every day by our in-house chef) and our very popular Premium Package, which includes: Movement & Mindfulness sessions, Earth Explorers sessions, Home learning, Makaton, and our everyday essentials, which include: Summer hats, Sun cream, Toothbrush, Nappies & wipes, and T-Shirts for enhanced curriculum sessions.

A home from home.
The staff are genuinely the most loving and caring people and my son loves coming in 3 days per week and has such a fun time.
My daughter used to attend but is at school now, even now she loves seeing the staff at drop off with her brother and they also love to see her too- they make us feel so welcome and safe.
The food is great, lovely fresh choices made by the chef & she knows my son has a big appetite so always treats him with a decent plate.
Immaculate setting, excellent garden and we couldn't be any happier.
Looking forward to our new addition joining when they are 9 months.
Nicola the manager is fantastic, so hands on and friendly.
Bella has loved learning to write letters, especially her name.
Lovely, welcoming nursery with a very friendly team! The baby room has a nice free flow feel and the meals sound delicious. The team have made the transition into nursery very welcoming. Jolie, Charlie, Alison and Katie are lovely key workers to our baby boy.
My son loves the staff at First Friends New Milton as they are all very positive and reassuring, which to me as a mother, is the most important thing when you drop your child off at pre-school. The staff are a real asset to the setting. I have found the enrichment activities to be extremely beneficial to my son's development. He talks about his learning in detail and is becoming more confident interacting with others in a social setting. I feel happy knowing that my son is safe and happy in a place that genuinely cares about him.
My 10 month old son started at the beginning on May as a mum leaving him for the first time I was very nervous. However New Milton First Friends were amazing at reassuring me. During the first couple of weeks I received regular updates which put me at ease. My goes into nursery smiling and comes out smiling after a 10 hour day. I know when I leave him he is ok, cannot recommend you guys highly enough.
Absolutely fantastic staff all very lovely and friendly. I have never had an issue of any kind there and my daughter absolutely loves it always comes home eager to tell me about all the fun she's been up too lots of crafts and outdoor play.
The environment is warm, welcoming, and full of engaging activities that have helped our daughter grow in confidence, develop new skills, and build wonderful friendships. It is clear that the staff are passionate about what they do and go above and beyond to ensure every child feels safe, happy, and supported.
We have loved seeing the progress our daughter has made during her time here and can't wait to see her continue to develop.

On admission at FF nursery She met Lucy, who was her key worker. My daughter became so attached to Lucy, however the team at the nursery gently managed to break the bond.

Please l, when looking for a nursery always consider how many falls babies have in their care.
My daughter joined FF nursery September 2024. She has had only 3 very minor falls.
Through their care & support she was able to count 1-10, 1-5 backwards, ABC -Z at just 22 months.

My son started at YMCA 7 months ago and he has come on leaps and bounds with his development. I’m kept up to date with all that he is doing (including photos and videos) whilst he’s there via the app which is very reassuring, particularly in the beginning when you are feeling worried about leaving them! On top of this, he has an allocated key worker who also keeps me up to date on drop-offs and pick-ups! I also recently attended a parent's evening which I thought was a lovely touch! The staff are all so friendly, it really is a lovely little nursery! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for help with childcare!

My granddaughter suffers with trauma, the management has done everything possible to make this easy for her and has been supportive to her and me. I'm also my granddaughter's foster carer. The manager has given me some ideas to try with her to help her behaviours.
