Day Nurseries Owned by Monarchs Childcare Ltd

Most importantly, we feel completely comfortable leaving our boys knowing they're happy, cared for and surrounded by people who genuinely know them. We're incredibly grateful for everything the nursery has done for our whole family and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

My 1 year old daughter has recently joined this nursery in Sept/Oct. She has settled like a superstar, she loves all the staff, immediately smiles at them when we walk to the door. They are all so welcoming and supportive of her development. She is looked after very well. I'm really pleased I found this nursery.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was in the baby room, now in preschool and just thriving. The minute I walked in on the first visit I knew it was the right nursery for us! The staff are kind and caring and look after the children. They are friendly to parents and most staff provide a good breakdown about their day at pickup. Some staff just say had a good day used toilets etc. but don't provide a breakdown and say everything will be on the app however sometimes it's just a few pictures of the same activity so this could be improved, a description added etc. however I understand they are very busy! Good variety of meals too. Overall a fab nursery and not had any issues with any members of the team. I have the opportunity to move my daughter to a preschool attached to her primary school as she will be starting in September which would make my life easier but have decided to keep her at the nursery as she loves it so much, that should tell you what you need to know!

Our daughter now attends she started in baby room and has just moved up to toddlers. The staff again have been great.

This nursery felt like a "choice" and an "opportunity" to us rather than just "childcare" highly recommend

Monarchs is becoming a family tradition! My eldest attended, my second child now attends, and we plan to send our third next year. Both children were very happy once settled and developed new skills and independence. The staff are friendly and caring, and there are plenty of engaging activities and educational toys. The management has also been accommodating of my child's dietary needs. Highly recommended!

I had a positive feel about Monarchs nursery after my very first visit. They offer so much for the children to do: role play, exploring books, creative/messy play activities, circle time, singing and dancing. My boy particularly enjoys playing in the soft play area and outside in the garden. My child enjoys the snacks and meals provided - sometimes having more than one portion! I've felt supported with any developmental changes we've been through and, as my child has grown, I like how independence is promoted. The staff always handover information at the end of the day in person, as well as on the app. The staff are absolutely lovely and I feel they all know my child well - not just his key worker. There are updates about events (including Mother's/Father's Day and parents meetings), dressing up days and termly newsletters through email and the app. Most importantly, my child goes in happily every morning and runs out smiling at the end of the day.

Our baby was nine months when she started at this nursery. We considered a lot of local options, but as soon as we visited Children's Ark, we knew it was 'the one':

There was a very clear safety protocol when we visited. We were asked to sign in and to put protectors over our shoes. We were given a professional welcome by the team leader, who showed us round. The nursery also required evidence of immunisations.

The facilities are excellent. Baby room has a climbing area, safe sleeping, lots of paintings etc on the walls, lots of toys and activities. The nursery has two outside play areas, and also access to a woodland/duck pond.

Food is cooked on site and is nutritious

Reading is actively encouraged with 'book of the month' and a little library

Staff are amazing!! They settled our baby so well and are very friendly and responsive. Our daughter - now 15 months - can't wait to go to nursery in the mornings and is so happy there. She has really bonded with staff.

Most importantly, my daughter is happy, loves nursery and knows all her teachers by name. I genuinely cannot fault our experience so far. The whole team is doing a fantastic job.

Amazing experience with staff and management. Both my children have attended Monarch since they were both one - and the experiences for both of them has been delightful. They have matured, become more independent and speaking more expressively. I will highly recommended. (V.A) Mother of Child.

A big thank you to the whole team for everything you do.

We feel so lucky that our son had such a happy and special start there. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for everything you've done for him, we'll miss you!

Leaving today to start his next chapter at school feels very bittersweet, and we'll always be incredibly grateful for everything the team has done for him over the years. A truly wonderful nursery and one we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Stepping Stones has been a fantastic nursery so far. My child can't wait to go in with his teachers each day. All of the staff have so much enthusiasm at drop off and pick up. The photos uploaded show a great variety of activities offered daily. The food offered is very nutritious. Staff know and accommodate my child's routines. I can see the development his teachers have been working with him on. Very happy with the whole team.

My sons started the nursery in September 2025, they both fell in love with the staff and the atmosphere straight away. My firstborn had a problem with talking before starting, and as soon as he started attending the nursery he started talking. I'm very grateful for all the help we're receiving and all of those amazing memories our boys will have.

The team at stepping stones are great. The growth we have seen in our child and the things she has learnt from her interactions with the nursery have been substantial.

Our child enjoys her days and always excited to tell us about her day.

It was the best decision we've made sending our son to stepping stones, right from the beginning all of the staff have been fantastic. The most kind, caring and attentive staff, who genuinely adore the children they look after and you can really see it. Leaving my son was a really nerve wracking prospect for me personally but this has been made so much easier for me, seeing how happy and content he is. The daily diaries and pictures are a really good way of keeping in touch & seeing what the children have been up to. Could not recommend this nursery enough

Our child enjoys a wide range of engaging activities in the nursery every day and is eating very well, which gives us great peace of mind. The staff truly listen to us about our child's routine and thoughtfully adapt it within the nursery's schedule, helping create a smooth and reassuring transition between home and nursery life. They are always friendly, approachable, and willing to discuss anything related to our child, which makes communication open and supportive. The nursery app works very well and is updated daily, and communication through the app is always fast and effective. We are very pleased to be sending our child to Stepping Stone Nursery and would highly recommend it to other parents.

We would highly recommend stepping stones to any parent looking for a supportive and inspiring place for their child.

I was so nervous about putting my child into nursery but when I visited Stepping Stones I was immediately relieved to send my son there. He has been attending for 2 months now and not a single tear, he adores all the staff and they are brilliant at communicating with my parenting needs and wants for my son. I highly recommend this nursery

My son started in November 2025. I have already had to change his days and hours twice and the staff were so accommodating and understanding. I was worried he would cry when I left him but he always smiles at the staff when i drop him off. The team have built a wonderful bond with him so he really enjoys nursery and I feel confident leaving him in the care of such a dedicated team. The communication with parents is great and the daily diaries with photos are wonderful to see.
