Finlay Nursery

Overall we are pleased with our choice of nursery. Staff are friendly, approachable and always available to talk. My son enjoys his time here and is always excited to return. He has achieved many milestones with their support and developed lots of new skills. Staff are passionate and always developing new creative ways and areas such as the new forest garden and the water play for the children, keeping their learning exciting and fresh.

The staff at the nursery go above and beyond individually for the children. Staff are approachable. And ensure an abundance of activities for the children wether it's inside or outside. I am always given and happy with the feedback given for my children. Social skills are very important and it appears my children are thriving with this support. I would highly recommend this nursery.

The staff are very welcoming and always explain to me what they have been up to in their sessions. My son always comes out smiling, his speech has become better throughout and has become more confident and independent. Also, he is always excited to get back to it when we arrive at the school gates.

Can’t recommend enough, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds, the staff are friendly and helpful and very attentive to the children’s needs. They keep you updated with their activities weekly, overall very happy with my choice to send my child here.

Brilliant nursery, my child has really come out of his shell since attending. Staff always make sure the children have different fun learning activities on a daily basis. Children do a lot of outdoor learning in their forest school section. Staff are very friendly and accommodate the children's individual needs. Would highly recommend it.

The nursery teacher is absolutely amazing! Couldn't recommend her enough. When my youngest is old enough, I will 100% be using Finlay. My little one absolutely loved going every day and he still asks about the teacher now.

I am really happy with how my child has settled in with the nursery; she loves the staff and her friends and has come on so well. I worried at first that she wouldn't settle as she was a lockdown baby, but even when she's not feeling 100%, she wants to go.

Wonderful staff. They are so kind and caring. My little boy loved going every day and still talks about the manager even now. It's a nice setting too with lots of resources and facilities. The outside space is huge and the kids get outside every day no matter the weather!

Can't fault Finley Nursery, the manager is an amazing teacher. She goes above and beyond for the children. I would highly recommend Finley Nursery for your little ones to start their new adventure. They do all sorts of activities, get stuck in with all events. I can't thank you enough.

Really happy with how my child has developed so well since going here. The staff are so friendly and listen to any concerns I have and help where they can. They always keep me updated on the progress of my child.

For my son it was not very easy settling at nursery, especially because of the language barrier (English is not his main language) but thanks to the manager and Finlay Nursery staff he started to enjoy the time spent in there.

Lovely staff, who really care for the children they look after. The nursery has lots of different sensory areas for children to be creative and develop their skills, from the soft play to the forest garden. Kids get to be kids in a safe, secure place. Always felt welcome and my child absolutely loved every day they spent at Finlay Nursery. Was amazing hearing all the exciting new things she experienced, from cooking banana bread to 'going on a bear hunt' or for me to see all the beautiful artwork she had done.

My son absolutely loved his time here. The staff are absolutely fantastic and you can clearly see they are in the right job! Each day my son came home happy and always looked forward to going each morning. He learnt so much there, the staff just have the gift to make learning fun for the kids so they do so without even realising. The staff there are like an extension of your family. I always felt like I had a shoulder to cry/talk on, they're so supportive in all aspects of family life should you need it. When it came to my son leaving ready to go to big school he was devastated. He really didn't want to leave and wanted to go back each day after school. As a parent, to see that just makes you so happy. I can not recommend this nursery enough. The staff are amazing, they create the best environment for your child to learn and grow. It's just brilliant.

And without them, there is no way my son would've been ready for reception and doing as well as he is now!

Finlay Nursery are amazing! I can't recommend them enough. My son has a lot of extra dietary and physical needs which the nursery accommodated for so wonderfully and every day my son felt included through the adjustments Finlay put in place. Finlay also did a great job at preparing my son (and me!) for the transition to school. I felt my son's social skills massively improved with attending Finlay and the team were always doing fun, interesting things to really engage the children. The Finlay Team are wonderful and I'm so glad we choose this nursery.

Since Finlay has been taken over with new staff, I can't thank the manager and her team enough for what they have done and will carry on doing for my child. She's exceeding in all areas, they do a lot of creativeness, outside and messy plays. Communication is amazing, the manager will inform you with any details you need to know, and she goes above and beyond and will help you with anything. My child is happy and loves attending Finlay nursery.

Lovely nursery, with an amazing staff team! They are kind, friendly, patient and always go above and beyond to support my child. My son adores it there! I'm very happy with everything the staff do for my son. Couldn't ask for a better environment for my child to be in.

My son hasn't long started attending and from what I've seen and witnessed it is outstanding, the staff are incredible, always at the door greeting us, always polite and if we have any worries or concerns they take it seriously. My child is always safe and happy when there, brilliant, highly recommend.
