Day Nurseries Owned by Safe & Sound Daycare Nurseries Ltd in County Down

It is an absolute haven, and the staff are wonderfully kind, attentive, caring and most of all, great fun! My son talks about the staff by name at home, telling us how he loves them! The team will always let us know how he is doing and we feel very comfortable talking with them. The setting is very clean, hygiene is clearly a priority as I often observe staff cleaning/tidying up. Toys provided are of a good quality, games and activities, trips are varied. My older daughter attended here from 9 months old to school age too. So when our son came along, it was always an easy decision on where to send him. I was pleased to see some old faces in the staff and returning parents too - that was reassuring and a positive sign of a wonderful environment!

This makes such a difference when going back to work or leaving him.

Thank you to the whole team for taking such brilliant care of Charlie. Highly recommended to any parent looking for exceptional childcare!

We really couldn't recommend Safe and Sound enough. A fantastic nursery with a truly lovely and caring team!

Both of my daughters literally skip in each day, and when I collect them, they both have smiles on their faces, and as a parent, that tells me everything I need to know. My children are thriving and Safe & Sound plays a large part in that, thank you!

My son settled so well into the toddler room here, his key worker Nicola has been fantastic, helped us implement some reward things at home to help with my son's picky eating and all the girls are always super friendly. He calls Nicola his friend and I just think that's super sweet. The actual nursery building itself is incredible, lots of outdoor space, fantastic location in the countryside and the opening hours suit so well for me as I will be returning to condensed hours. Cillians speech came on brilliantly during his time in the nursery and he is meeting all his milestones so well, gaining more confidence, singing his songs from "school" and making friends in public much easier than he used to. Christine the manager is very quick to respond to concerns or queries and has a great relationship with my son despite her busy role. We came from a nursery that used an app to keep in touch and I do miss it at times but the group social media app works just as well.

Having experienced other nurseries before, I know I have something to compare it to, and this place is truly special. The outdoor facilities are amazing, there are always so many activities and experiences for the children throughout the day, but more than anything, it's the people who make it what it is. It really is a home from home. My daughter has made the best little friendships the other children but with the staff too,

This nursery has been an answer to our prayers, they have been very very good, with our soon who is 3, he had difficulty adapting at the begging, however, their professional staff managed every difficult drop off flawlessly, now a few months in he is so happy when he sees the gates and even more when greeted by the staff, we will recommend 100 percent to anyone interested in a great local nursery.

Couldn't be happier with the care my son has and continues to receive in safe and sound. Throughout his time here, I have watched him come on leaps and bounds emotionally, physically and socially and I put this down to the excellent and attentive care from the staff who look after him day to day. My son shows excitement as we approach the nursery each day and this makes the drop offs and anxiousness as a mum subside. I look forward to speaking to the staff members at drop offs and pickups as they are so welcoming and ensuring. I look forward to watching my son progress even more under their care!

I am over the moon with the care provided by Safe and Sound Day Nursery. My son loves it there and has such a good relationship with the staff. He gets excited when we pull into the car park. The babies take part in an array of activities that develop their key skills and I can notice a positive change in my son's development since starting. The staff show a real care for the babies and they give a brief update on their day at pick up which I love. I would recommend Safe and Sound to anyone requiring childcare.

The fact that they both get excited on "nursery days" is proof enough for me it's the best wee nursery! It is run with the highest professionalism! A great love of children and a wonderful ethos. I can't speak highly enough of the place!

We have been using Safe and Sound for over 4 years now and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Both of our children are so happy there, we never had any settling-in problems, and the kids just took to the staff and the beautiful setting so quickly. The staff do an amazing job and they all go above and beyond for the children.

Safe & Sound Day Nursery is an absolutely fantastic childcare provider within a superb setting with such a friendly and caring staff team. At Safe & Sound they provide a wide range of activities and create such important learning opportunities for the children who attend, it's been a joy to watch my daughter grow in confidence and ability through the learning opportunities she has been provided. At Safe & Sound the facility is very well equipped with such high standards of cleanliness and a wide range of food and nutrition is provided on a daily basis. At Safe & Sound the staff team are always so friendly, approachable and most importantly caring. Safe & Sound Day Nursery has made my return to work carefree as my daughter quickly settled into the environment and she absolutely loves her nursery, the staff team and all the friends she has made so far. I would highly recommend Safe & Sound Day Nursery to anyone wishing to avail of a childcare provider you will not be disappointed!

I would recommend any parent to send their one to Safe and Sound. Leaving your child can be hard, especially at the start, but we have been sending our daughter to Safe and Sound for 3-years now, and she loves it so much and always has great fun. The setting and all the activities are amazing. The staff care for my little girl as if she was their own, and we love to receive pictures of what she has been getting up to every day! 5-stars!

Our son has improved in so many ways since starting at Safe and Sound. He now loves going and seeing all the girls. We feel so at ease knowing he’s well looked after and loved. Everyone goes above and beyond for him, and we cannot rave enough about them! We love all the girls so much! Thank you so much for taking our wee one, who was so nervous at first, and working with him in ways that are best suited for him. We couldn’t have asked for a better daycare!

Every member of the team is approachable and genuinely care about the service they offer and the children within their care!

The Safe & Sound team go above and beyond in their role caring for our daughter! They are so welcoming, enthusiastic and creative in the care they provide. The nursery is so colourful and welcoming to little ones and the outdoor space is amazing with gardens and a playfield! The team deliver such a great variety of activities, that help the children learn and grow! The staff have been excellent in learning about our daughter's health care needs and care for her with such professionalism! It’s clear that our daughter loves going to nursery! Thanks!!

Our children have been attending Safe & Sound Nursery for approximately 5 years and it has been a most rewarding experience for them and for us as parents. They have developed their social skills and personalities in an environment which is safe, child-friendly and conducive to interaction, learning and development with the other children and the staff. In particular, the staff are professional, courteous, caring, highly trained and fully understanding of the needs of the children. We also really appreciate the flexibility shown by Safe & Sound Nursery in accommodating our children to meet our changing work commitments. I cannot commend highly enough the manager and her team and would thoroughly recommend Safe & Sound Nursery to other parents/guardians.

I would highly recommend the nursery for so many reasons and the staff were great at helping us (the parents) feel at ease when our child started nursery. Our daughter extremely enjoys her days at nursery and we love to see the fun and enjoyment she gains from nursery.

My son has been with Safe & Sound Magheraknock from three months old, they are superb. He is always happy to go and the staff are excellent at keeping me informed of how he does each day and how it is progressing. I get regular updates and photos sent when they do activities in Nursery. I couldn't survive without them. LOVE LOVE LOVE, well done to all the team in providing such excellent care. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone thinking of taking their child here. Five stars.
