Our eldest child has been at Barney Bears West Ham for three years and has always been very happy there. The most important thing for me is how kind and lovely the staff are and the strength of bond they have built with my daughter, she feels very loved and loves them too! She's had the opportunity
to go on lots of fun trips and have interesting learning experiences alongside day to day activities that have developed her knowledge and skills ahead of school. Our younger child will follow suit and start at Barney Bears soon!

We've had such a wonderful experience with this nursery! It's a warm, caring, and creative environment that really supports children's development through engaging sensory and learning activities.
The facilities are excellent - there are two separate gardens for babies and toddlers, spacious rooms
with views of the park, and everything is kept very clean. They follow a no-shoes policy inside the rooms, which we really appreciate. The baby room also has its own changing area with access to running water.
The staff are absolutely lovely - kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. My little boy started here at 8 months old and he settled in so well. He's now 18 months and already talking!
We're so happy we chose this nursery - it's made such a positive impact on our son's early development.

We are so glad we chose Barney Bears for our son! All the staff are incredible - they clearly all really care about the children and are passionate about what they do and it shows as the children all respond really well to the staff. They have lots of activities planned, always have extra events on
special occasions and really go the extra mile. They have home cooked food and really look after the children's welfare. My little boy absolutely loves going to nursery, and we have had nothing but good experiences.

My daughter attended Barney bears West Ham for two years, we sadly had to leave as we moved out of the area. Our experience was nothing short of wonderful. At first I was apprehensive of putting my child in nursery but as soon as I had a look around and let the staff I knew it was the right decision
for us as a family. The staff are so caring and always so enthusiastic to share what my little one was up to all day. She was taking such great care of. We were really sad to say goodbye.

Amazing nursery my daughter loves it here. Staff so friendly ! Daughter has learnt so much since starting her when she was 2! I'm so sad that she has grown up and now is leaving this term! Be a real shame. But definitely putting my son here too as it's the best nursery around!

Barney Bears has provided childcare for both my children and currently my daughter is in baby room. I cannot express enough how amazing they have been in my children's development I see my children have gone from strength to strength in every aspect of life. I have had two of my children attend this nursery and I could not be more happier with how they have helped with them. My older son who attended a few years back was helped with potty training his speech development was brilliant his tantrums was kept under control and I was given some handy tips for
those at home too. My daughter now attends there and there has been some new staff members started and have got along really well with my daughter. She sometimes has down days and does not want to go in but that changes with the bond she has made with the staff! She eats really well there and her sleeping pattern thanks to the nursery has improved at home as she used to stay up most nights now she has a strict routine and that's thanks to barney's! Would highly recommend Barney Bears Nursery as they have undoubtedly worked really well with my children

My son has attended the nursery for nearly one year in the baby room. He has made firm friends at an early age which we attribute to the warm and caring atmosphere at the nursery. All the staff work really hard to give the best care to all the children and feedback readily throughout the day via the
app as well as handing over at the end of the day.
Regular parents evenings and email updates ensure that everyone is on the same page. They have just had a fantastic family day trip to the zoo which was enjoyed by all the children (and parents too!).
I really think this is a special nursery that works very hard to provide an enriching environment for all who attend. They have regular activities as well as plenty of outdoor time. We are really pleased we chose this nursery for our child.

My daughter has been at Barney Bears Nursery West Ham for three years. She has made lasting memories and friendships and we will always look back fondly on her time here. The staff at Barney Bears Nursery are hardworking and love and adore the children as if they're family - I don't think you could
ask for more than that! I've heard from parents who've moved to other nurseries that they miss the warmth which is unique to Barney Bears Nursery. There have also been staff who have left over the years but still maintain a good relationship with past colleagues and some even return, which is a testament to the community at Barney Bears Nursery.
The nursery encourages healthy eating and caring for the environment which is lovely to see. My daughter is a bright and confident little girl who is so excited to start school and I'm positive that Barney Bears Nursery has contributed to that. We will miss the nursery so much! Thank you to all the staff at Barney Bears Nursery - we love you!

In the two years my son has been attending this nursery, his confidence has grown so much and he's more happy and jolly. The staff are so nice; you can tell that they genuinely care. My son's speech has improved tremendously and he's learnt at a fast pace. The only thing is the nursery is located in
a house and, therefore, it is not that spacious. But this can be overlooked, as the lovely staff and their kind nature really do make up for it.

This is my second child attending Barney Bears Nursery. My first child is 14 years old, who started the nursery at 3 months old. I thought my second child would definitely be attending here as well. The standards have not dropped and it remained consistent from all those years with their standards.
This
review is for my second child. I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience my daughter has had at the nursery. From the moment she started at just 9 months old, the friendly and dedicated staff have provided outstanding support to help her settle in. Their warmth and care have made a huge difference and I've seen her grow and thrive in this nurturing environment.
The diverse and inclusive environment has been a wonderful aspect of her experience. The variety of activities and experiences provided have significantly contributed to her development in a loving and nurturing way. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent seeking a supportive and enriching place for their child.

Our little girl started here in January 2024 and from our very first visit to the nursery, we knew it was the one! The staff are very welcoming, warm and worked hard to make sure we felt reassured in her early days. The settling-in process is great here, they build it up hour by hour each day and do
not rush you or make you feel a burden if you want to call or check-in.
Communication with parents is good and they always have a good handover every day.
We love the opening times, (really works for working parents) and feeling rest assured that our daughter is having three good meals a day with snacks.
Go and visit the nursery, as soon as they open the door there is an instant feeling of a happy place!

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 11 months old. The staff, particularly in the baby room, are exceptionally kind and caring. For example, when he first joined, they'd give him cuddles to help him sleep. When we've had a difficult drop-off, staff make sure to send photos or provide
a courtesy call to let us know he's OK. They engage in a range of fun and stimulating activities such as painting, water play, construction, etc, as well as outdoor play. He seems very happy at nursery and has formed strong bonds with all of the staff, not just his key worker. Staff at the nursery appear to be very focused on constantly improving and building a great environment for children to flourish.

Thank you for an amazing review. The baby room was an area that was highlighted within our recent Ofsted inspection; the Ofsted inspector commented on how the staff knew the baby's individual needs. The babies are very busy during the day, and just being in the room gives you a sense of safety, a place where the babies can freely move around and explore. Our daughter has attended Barney Bears since she was one in 2020. She's moved through the baby room, into the main room and is now in the preschool room. She absolutely loves the nursery, and the staff are so amazing. They really care for the children, and the environment is welcoming and supportive.

Can't express enough how happy I am with this nursery. I have two children attending here four full days a week. I have every trust in the teachers looking after them. My children have grown and developed so well since attending Barney Bears. The teachers go above and beyond to support and teach the

I have a child at this nursery currently, and my second is on the waiting list. We were attracted to this nursery primarily because of the very wide opening hours (51 weeks per year, 6.30 pm finish), as my husband and I both work in the city. It is very close to West Ham tube station, which is convenient
for drop off and pick up.
The staff are fantastic and care so much about our daughter. She does lots of activities during the day, and we get updates about her daily via an app. The children eat well and have recently started to go on trips again post-COVID (Mudchute farm, etc.)
I would also say that this nursery is good value for money overall and more competitively priced than others closer to the city centre.

Our daughter has been attending Barney Bears in West Ham for about four months now since she was a year old. She took a little while to settle, but the staff were so supportive, and she is so happy and settled there now. Staff are flexible, and she is able to stick to the routine she is used to from
home.
It is lovely to see the photos of her during the day on the app and to keep an eye on what she’s eaten and when she has slept. The learning and play environment is welcoming and homely. I love that they are in the park and have the opportunity to play there. So far, overall, we are really pleased to have chosen this nursery.

My son attended Barney Bears Nursery from 6 months old, when I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd child 6 years later Barney Bears was the only nursery I would consider.
My 16-month-old daughter has been attending Barney Bears for 9 months now and loves it, even after having a small break during
lockdown she was happy to go back. The staff are excellent and always there to help even during these strange times we are experiencing.
