My daughter started here 2 years ago and I'm so glad we picked here. From our very first visit we knew this would be the best nursery for her to join. She comes home every day so happy and loves telling us what she's learned, who she's played with or the visits she's been out on with her friends and teachers. There are so many activities she can do in the nursery and she particularly enjoys story time with her friends, role play and colouring pictures to bring home. When she started the nursery she was a bit picky with her food, now she will eat a much bigger variety and that's thanks to the nursery. Her confidence has been amazing and she has made so many friends; some who will be joining her in school. If you're thinking of a nursery in the area, absolutely consider here. The teachers and managers are fantastic and they are always on hand to help whatever the issue is.

My son was 9 months old when he first started attending Yellow Wellies and will shortly be leaving for primary school. Watching him flourish throughout his time here has been amazing! The staff are fantastic and will go to the ends of the earth for the little people they look after. Their support over the years is invaluable and we will definitely miss them all once he leaves.

As our daughter comes to the end of her time at this nursery, we wanted to say how grateful we are to all of the wonderful staff. She has absolutely loved her time here, and it has been amazing to see how much she has grown in confidence and developed along the way.

The care, support and encouragement she has received have been exceptional, and the staff have always made her feel happy, safe and settled. Thank you for giving her such a wonderful start - we will always be grateful and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to other families.

We've had a fantastic experience with Yellow Wellies Nursery. The staff are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the children's development and happiness. My son absolutely loves attending and has grown so much in confidence, communication, and social skills since starting there.

My son first came to Yellow Wellies when he was 18 months old after a really bad experience at a previous nursery. The staff were incredible from the very beginning, making sure he felt welcome and keeping me regularly updated throughout the day.

My daughter now also attends the nursery, and I honestly could not think of a better team to look after my children. The staff always greet the children with big smiles and welcome them with open arms. They are so friendly, caring, and supportive, and I know with absolute certainty that my children are safe, happy, and well cared for.

My daughter has been at Yellow Wellies for just over a year. As first time parents, we were understandably anxious about sending her away, even on a part-time basis. But Sam and Kelly were so welcoming during our tour, and Laura answered all my questions so thoughtfully during the settling in sessions, that we felt comfortable straight away. We've had two key workers now, Grace and Leah, and both have been excellent. They really take their time to get to know the children in their care. To be fair, every member of staff in each of the three rooms she's been in have been brilliant. They approach the children with such warmth and respect, and I've watched my daughter flourish, socially and academically (as much as a 2yo can be academic!). I can't recommend Yellow Wellies enough.

My daughter has only been here just under a month and I cannot praise this nursery enough. The staff are so warm and welcoming, they're always happy to have a chat at handover (even if you chat too long like I do). My daughter loves going to nursery and has adapted so well. They do an amazing range of activities with the children and it's amazing for her development. Cannot thank this nursery enough!

Always go above and beyond for not only the children but the parents also. Absolutely amazing nursery, always clean and tidy and I can't thank them enough for how much my son has come on since going here.

Nothing is ever too much for the staff, I can't thank Yellow Wellies enough for the part they have played in my sons journey to be ready for school!

It is impressive how well they know every child's character and support them to develop.

With my son he likes to build things, they used this as a way to build on teamwork, numbers, colours, balancing, types of buildings which became more technical as he grew and gained confidence.

Can not thank the staff more, been with them for just over 6 years and they have always gone above and beyond with their care for all my children and for us, they provide a great atmosphere, helped the kids in their own ways and just overall amazing people to be around!

Nice and open space lovely layout and well thought about. Staff are always willing to help and give some good advice.

I even got the meet the area manager who was lovely.

5* nursery every staff member goes above and beyond, my child is learning new skills every session he attends. Each staff member is respectful and always has a warm welcome, they are accommodating to the needs of not just the child but parents also. I couldn't recommend this nursery more. Every time there is an illness we are updated accordingly, it's clean and my child is always fed well. I love how they do not do the same activities over and over and my child is always doing something new. Amazing thank you for all of your hard work!

I also love the app they use. It's easy to use and staff updates throughout the day.

Yellow Wellies Day Nursery is an excellent nursery staff are fantastic and so patient with the children and will do anything to help if any problems arise. Meals are well balanced. My grandson has come on so much since starting at the age of 9 months old. They have different activities every day and in warmer weather, they take the children on walks or to the local park. I would highly recommend Yellow Wellies. Fantastic place. fantastic staff.

Yellow Wellies Day Nursery in Bishop Auckland holds a special place in our hearts. When I first visited to look around for my child, I knew instantly that my child would be safe and well cared for. The staff are very very lovely and very supportive! They couldn't be more amazing with my little boy, my little boy has been here 3 years now and he's grown well in with all the staff! My child loves going to nursery and he hates to leave and he gets so excited to go back! Very welcoming my son is thriving since he's attended this nursery at a young age!
