We are so happy with the care at GUG. Jesse seems so content with his days there and always comes home smiling. The girls take such good care of him and are so attuned to his needs and quirks! Becca and Poppy are a delight - I can see how much they understand Jesse and know how to take such good care of him. They send us brilliant little updates all the time and tell us about his days. They try him on new foods, and always ask our permission. We see him thriving at GUG, and it's a huge relief that he seems so glad to be at nursery - he doesn't cry when we drop him off, and that's down to how fond he must have become of the team! Amy and Emma are also super friendly and fabulous at their job. Thank you!

It's scary having to send your little one into nursery but I could not recommend them enough.

One of the things we've appreciated most is the continuity of the staff. While, like any nursery, there is occasional staff turnover, so many familiar faces remain or move between rooms. This gave our son a real sense of security and familiarity as he progressed through each stage, making every transition feel natural and positive. That consistency has been invaluable.

My daughter has been developing so many new skills since starting at GUG, I'm so impressed with how many new words she's showing us. It is great to see her settling in so well and getting more and more confident at each drop off. Trinity has been such a brilliant support for my girl, and I feel so grateful for the bond that they have formed.

GUG has been a brilliant nursery for our daughter. The care has been outstanding. The setting is also great, and the creative activities are so thoughtful, interesting and varied.

Staff all so wonderful - our daughter has loved it from day one! Faith is our daughters main carer and she is just fantastic and has worked so hard to make sure she settled in well and enjoys herself every day

We moved our son at 3 yo and he joined the preschool. He will have been here 2 years as he starts school. He loved it from the start. The staff have remained pretty much the same and he has had 1 consistent key worker. The outside space is amazing and the staff know our son so well and encourage him.

A lovely, caring nursery with wonderful staff. My daughter was always happy there and grew so much in confidence and learning. I am very grateful for all the support and care GUG give her.

I can only describe Growing Up Green as a home away from home. Everyone there is loving, nurturing and gentle and my son is so happy there. They are responsive and caring and create a family environment for everyone there.

My daughter has been attending GUG since she was just one year old, and she has absolutely loved it. Over the past three years, she has come on so much, and it's been amazing to see her grow and develop. The care and attention given to the children is second to none, and the team are always finding new ways to improve and provide fun, engaging activities for the little ones. My child has attended for 3 years and loves it! The staff are all loving and caring and my child has thrived throughout their time here. He is excited to go to nursery everyday and has made some special friends. The nursery supply healthy food and encourage the children to try new things, which is reflected in my child's diet at home. I would 100% recommend growing up green to other parents.

My son first started when he was 8 months old and was super happy. Perhaps equally importantly, I also felt really happy with him there, the staff were fantastic with him. I do contract work and Growing up Green has been fantastically flexible to ensure I have the child care I need to get the work done.

My son attended GUG 7 years ago, and despite us moving further away it was the obvious choice for us when looking for childcare for our daughter. The staff are wonderful, so caring and attentive and every time we drop her off/ pick her up you can just see that all the children there are happy and well cared for. Management are always super helpful whenever we need anything. Absolutely love this nursery and would recommend it to everyone!!

Growing Up Green has been a fantastic nursery for both of our children. From baby room through to pre-school, they developed really close, nurturing relationships with staff and key-workers, who got to know their personalities and how to bring out the best in them. There's a wonderful range of engaging activities, from yoga, to music classes, regular forest school park trips, lots of garden time, educational activities and cultural celebrations from Diwali and Eid to Christmas, Halloween and Pride. Home-cooked, healthy organic food and cloth nappies were a big bonus for us (since we used cloth at home). They were really supportive with potty training, transition between rooms and transition to school (Balfour & Downs especially) too. It's a wonderful, warm community with lots of opportunities to build connections too - including the annual "Olympics" event and regular parents' evenings. The garden is a bit small but well-used and regular forest school trips out make up for it.

My son joined Growing Up Green at 6 months old and has really thrived in the year that he has attended. The attention he has been given whilst at nursery is really evident in the speed of which he has learnt new skills.

My son has grown a lovely attachment to the staff at GUG and really enjoys going there.

Also the food he gets at nursery is far superior to what he gets fed at home!

We feel so lucky to have such a wonderful nursery close by for our daughter. The care and support she receives is outstanding. There are so many daily activities, and they go outside as much as possible. There are regular updates to parents via the app and parents evenings, and our questions are always answered by key workers or nursery management. She has strong bonds with all the staff and with the other children there. I am also always impressed with the food they provide and she eats so well when she is there. They also are very happy to follow our lead on things like naps which I hear other nurseries don't do! Overall we're super happy here.
