An absolutely amazing nursery with impeccable service. My daughter has thrived since starting in January. The staff are so supportive and have been brilliant with her development, from encouraging her walking (she's now running!) to helping us with potty training. She is happy, eating well, and has
grown so much in confidence. It is such a relief to see her so happy and settled compared to our previous experience.

My son has been in this nursery now for 2 months and the team are fantastic. They are so attentive, caring and supportive towards my son. It does not matter who his key worker is, or who is in the room with him during the day, the entire team always seem to be aware what he is up to and how he has got
on through the day. The team are all lovely, full of personality and great with the kids.
This nursery is bringing on my son so much.
Another thing I am really happy with is the food in which they provide for the kids. Really good variety of cooked food (not just chips and nuggets) and a lot of veg and fruit included!

A fantastic nursery. The staff are caring, considerate and knowledgeable. We are given regular updates about our child's progress. The nursery is very organised and managed brilliantly. We would highly recommend this nursery to the parents.

My son has been going to nursery
Since april last year. He was shy at first wouldn't get involved with the other children but now he has a group of friends. He has really come out of his shell. Interacts more with the staff and the other children.Toddler staff are amazing. He is really fond of his
key worker. I have known his key worker as my eldest attended the same nursery and they both have had the same key worker.
He looks forward to going to nursery now.
Comes out happy at the end of the day.

Outstanding nursery from staff to management you cannot fault all staff and management are very professional at thier role.
my son loves it at the nursey making new friends and getting involved the staff are really supportive aslo they work hard.
The nursery is spotless and clean.

After having a really bad experience with a childminder, getting a place at this nursery has honestly been the best thing that could have happened for us.


From the very beginning, they made us feel welcome, reassured and supported. My son has come on so, so much since starting here. His confidence

has grown, his speech has improved, and he's so much more settled and happy in himself.


I truly can't thank the staff enough for the patience, care and effort they've put into helping him thrive.
Every single member of staff is amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about the children and love what they do. My son feels safe and secure there, which as a parent is the most important thing in the world.


He comes home saying their names all night long, which just shows how much he loves them. The nursery is beautiful, clean and such a lovely friendly environment.


I can't thank you all enough for the time and effort you put into caring for my little boy x

My little girl who is 2 now has been attending this nursery for the last 5 months now. It was her 2nd nursery due to a house move and she has settled in great. She absolutley loves her days here. The staff are so friendly and she has a lovely bond with them. The nursery itself is clean, and has a lovely
family feel to it with lots for the children to do. The staff are very helpful and you can tell they generally care about my daughters needs. I would highly reccomend.

My little one has attended Explorers, Lydiate since she was ten months old and she is now nearly 2 and a half. I have nothing but good things to say- the staff are kind, caring and supportive and my daughter has built extremely strong connections. The management team is responsive and helpful and they
seek to make strong connections with families. They offer support and guidance and their communication is excellent. A special mention goes to the food and the cook: I always know that my little one is being offered fresh and nutritious food and I am told what and how much she is eating which then helps me make plans at home.

My child has attended this nursery since 10 months old and over a year later we are still very happy with our decision. The staff are excellent and go above and beyond for the children, so much effort goes into activity planning and setting up the nursery for special occasions throughout the year.
My little boy is happy and excited to be greeted by his teachers daily which is really reassuring at drop off and really helped with the transition of going back to work last year.
I have recommended Explorers to anyone looking for a nursery in the area and we are very grateful to have chosen this setting for our little boy.

We are so pleased we came across this nursery from the start Sarah made us feel
so welcome and reassured us he was in good hands.


Our son has been attending for 4 months now and never wants to leave . They have a wide range of different activities throughout the day. A large selection of toys and

books and a warm and comfortable environment.


A wide range of homemade food options go down a treat with our son


All the girls in the baby room provide regular updates and are brilliant and engaging and every morning when he see Chloe he gets so excited which is so nice to see providing us with relief leaving him for the day .
Emma, Teds key worker goes above and beyond her role keeping us updated on his development and reassures us he is developing well.


The nursery has stay and play sessions where we can see the environment which have been brilliant and so nice to him and the staff bonding .


We are so glad we picked this nursery.

Such caring, honest staff.
So happy we sent Teddy to this nursury the girls have been nothing short of amazing for him.
Teddys first day he was upset leaving us for the first time but after 2-3 days in the nursury he's waving us off with a smile on his face going in which just shows how happy he

Our boy absolutely loves going to nursery. All the staff and management are so friendly and professional in everyway. I feel at ease when handing over our son as I know he will be cared for 100%. The amount of activitys the children have keep them busy and this also helps are son with his motor skills.
I can see a difference in our boy already with the way he's able to stand for longer periods and walk easier from one couch to the other.

What can I say. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. I have two little boys that go here and the service I have received is excellent.


As a teacher, when I initially looked for nurseries I was very fussy and was looking for somewhere with a holistic approach. This nursery does this all

and has supported both my children to develop well.


The manager (Sarah) also breaks over backwards to accommodate both my sons and has recommended things to support both my boys in accessing the best quality provision.


Both my boys really enjoy going to nursery and are happy to walk in the door. They receive a great mix of quality provision, freshly cooked meals as well as support with their emotions.


I would highly recommend this nursery!

My son has attended explorers Kirkby since he was 19 months old he is now 4 ..and the setting as a whole has helped him flourish .my son is on the pathway and staff/ management have gone above and beyond with their support ,advice ,knowledge . And have always took the time to listen ,answer any questions
I had .they are emphatic,compassionate,kind and caring and have provided a safe place for my son to flourish .when my son leaves to start reception in September both he and I are going to miss the staff so much .i would /have recommended explorers to anyone looking for a nursery /pre-school .

My little boy started explorers January 2025 and will be leaving end of August 2025.


He will be really sad to leave and miss all his teachers and Friends. The relationships he has built with all his teachers and the manger of such a short time has been amazing and to help him grow, to get him ready

for big school.


The nursery is very active on the app keeping us posted on food, activities, learning journal, events, accidents etc.
this puts your mind at ease once dropping them off for the day. If feels like a safe environment especially the front door system that they have works very well.


The communication between staff and parents I feel is very efficient too. Staff work with you and your child in so many ways it's been so lovely to form relationships with the staff. Can't thank them enough.


I am currently pregnant and will be hoping to enrol my new baby some day, couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

My daughter has attended the nursery for just under a year and it has been the most rewarding time seeing her do all new things which she has learnt in nursery and all the friends which she has made.


The nursery as a whole including staff is beyond amazing. All the staff are welcoming and amazing
