People there are very friendly and polite . Very easy to concatc a support for helping with arrange hours days for child. Our child is very happy when he know his going to nursery every day . So i 100% recomend the nursery .

I have had my 3 children from 9m until now that they are leaving, ages 4/4/3. I honestly feel so lucky to have found this nursery. They are committed, transparent, trustworthy, always welcoming feedback, warm, kind and extremely professional. The takeover from explorers management made a huge difference and I dont even have words about how responsible and professional Raluca is. She was the best asset to come with the take over. I am so grateful for the past 4 years to all the professionals they came into my children's lives through the setting!

The nursery is really good with my child she gets well looked after i give them a 5/5 star rating would defintely 100% recommend this nursery to any parent in need of a really good nursery to put their child in.

My son has attended Lydiate Explorers from approx age of 15 months, he's now 3 years old and will be shortly moving to pre-school here. He is thriving in the nursery and really enjoys his time there. The staff and managers are friendly and approachable and always try to help where they can. They have a lovely range of activities to enhance their development such as sensory experiences using tuff trays, outdoor activities, circle times and stories to name a few. They keep you up to date via app with personal/wellbeing information, share observations of what the children have done and have parents evenings to discuss children's progress. They have been particularly good during the recent hot weather reassuring parents of the measures they are taking to protect our children whilst they attend. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery for the support both my son and me have received.

Excellent care for my little boy. The staff are always prepared to take time for you and are very friendly. Thanks for all your hard work. The kitchen team are also lovely and take pride in their work.

Regular updates via the app make communicating really easy and straightforward and it's so lovely to have picture updates on some of the days she's in!

Brillaint nursey which my little boy loves and build that relationship with staff and friends in the nursery. staff are brillaint.

As her parents, we're going to miss the lovely staff in Explorers too. They have been so kind, caring, and dedicated, and we're incredibly thankful for everything they've done to help her grow and thrive.

Amazing nursery, every single person goes out of their way to welcome you and they all know my sons name which is lovely as it feels they are invested and care about him/the family/all the children. I'm actually quite sad he will be going to a school nursery in January and will definitely miss all of the lovely staff. Couldn't fault this nursery at all and will continue to recommend it to anyone. Thank you all at Kirkby explorers you all deserve a bonus!

An absolutely amazing nursery with impeccable service. My daughter has thrived since starting in January. The staff are so supportive and have been brilliant with her development, from encouraging her walking (she's now running!) to helping us with potty training. She is happy, eating well, and has grown so much in confidence. It is such a relief to see her so happy and settled compared to our previous experience.

The nursery has always provided care of the highest quality. Understanding and willingness to talk is something they never shy away from. Each individual care provided is described as being as the highest upmost quality, patience and general friendliness.

Another thing I am really happy with is the food in which they provide for the kids. Really good variety of cooked food (not just chips and nuggets) and a lot of veg and fruit included!

A fantastic nursery. The staff are caring, considerate and knowledgeable. We are given regular updates about our child's progress. The nursery is very organised and managed brilliantly. We would highly recommend this nursery to the parents.

Brilliant nursery, brilliant staff my baby's been going there since he was 1 Hes 3 this year and Hes come on leaps and bounds since being at explorers. All the girls who work there are super helpful and supportive. 10/10 nursery.

After having a really bad experience with a childminder, getting a place at this nursery has honestly been the best thing that could have happened for us.

From the very beginning, they made us feel welcome, reassured and supported. My son has come on so, so much since starting here. His confidence has grown, his speech has improved, and he's so much more settled and happy in himself.

Every single member of staff is amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about the children and love what they do. My son feels safe and secure there, which as a parent is the most important thing in the world.

He comes home saying their names all night long, which just shows how much he loves them. The nursery is beautiful, clean and such a lovely friendly environment.

My little girl who is 2 now has been attending this nursery for the last 5 months now. It was her 2nd nursery due to a house move and she has settled in great. She absolutley loves her days here. The staff are so friendly and she has a lovely bond with them. The nursery itself is clean, and has a lovely family feel to it with lots for the children to do. The staff are very helpful and you can tell they generally care about my daughters needs. I would highly reccomend.

My little one has attended Explorers, Lydiate since she was ten months old and she is now nearly 2 and a half. I have nothing but good things to say- the staff are kind, caring and supportive and my daughter has built extremely strong connections. The management team is responsive and helpful and they seek to make strong connections with families. They offer support and guidance and their communication is excellent. A special mention goes to the food and the cook: I always know that my little one is being offered fresh and nutritious food and I am told what and how much she is eating which then helps me make plans at home.

I have recommended Explorers to anyone looking for a nursery in the area and we are very grateful to have chosen this setting for our little boy.
