Overall Experience

I've been very happy with the nursery staff since the beginning of interacting with them. They've been very helpful in answering any of our questions and have always been quick to reply.
Our daughter is loving going there, built a strong relationship with the nursery staff and seem to be enjoying the

food a lot. Fresh varied food is provided and she seems to be striving there.

Our overall experience at Boys& girls, Watford has been great, our daughter initially would be a little withdrawn while there but really settled in after a couple of months and bonded really well with the staff. They also have some nice activities to keep the children engaged while there and are always

open to feedback/concerns from us as her parents. Would recommend.

Overall Experience

I cannot fault this place. My son has been so happy here. They do a lot of great activities and the outdoor space is wonderful... I used to love watching him in the garden at pick-up before he spotted me! They have visiting music company for singing and do a lot of arts and crafts. The app keeps you

very well informed throughout the day and always a detailed handover at pickup. The staff are all lovely and friendly and traffic and parking is not an issue.

Overall Experience

Since starting at Boys and Girls Nursery Watford, my toddler's vocabulary has improved considerably. She has learnt new things about the weather, fruits etc. They might seem like little things but she was just babbling when she arrived the nursery and in 3 months she's already stringing sentences like

"Mummy, it's raining. Umbrella?". She's always excited to be there. I really appreciate the efforts by the staff at the nursery.

Both of my children have been part of the Boys & Girls family since they were just one years old, and now that my youngest is moving on to a nursery closer to our new home, I just wanted to take a moment to say an enormous thank you to the whole team.
From day one, the care, kindness, and professionalism

shown by every member of staff has been exceptional. You've created such a warm, nurturing environment where my children have not only felt safe and loved but have truly thrived. The support, patience, and attention to detail you give each child has been clear to see and the positive impact it has had on both of mine has been incredible.
You've played such an important role in their early years, and I'm incredibly grateful for the memories you've helped them create. Thank you again for everything over the years, we will miss you all so much and will always look back on our time with Boys & Girls with huge fondness and appreciation.

My little boy has been flourishing at Boys & Girls Nursery Rickmansworth since joining in March 2025. This is due to the staff who really care for the children they look after. They create educational and interactive activities and gently work with my son as he develops verbally and physically. He really

Overall Experience

Our little one loved his time at Boys & Girls nursery in Watford. It was his first time away from us and so was naturally hesitant at first but, with the care and guidance of his key person and all the other staff at B&G Watford he quickly settled in, made friends and looked forward to his days there.

Her particularly enjoyed the various creative activities they do each day and he loved his time outside in their outdoor play area. The food is very good and and we appreciated the daily updates and photos the staff took time to share via the App.

We are happy to recommend this nursery, the children are well cared for and engaged in fun learning activities.

Overall Experience

Our daughter has thrived at Boys & Girls for the last 2 years, having spent time both in Toddler Room and Preschool. We felt she was looked after well and had enough age appropriate activities which kept her engaged , from cutting up their own salad for lunch to weekly external phonics session and music.

She made many friends and had a good relationship with the staff. I feel the staff are caring and warm towards the children. We really valued the daily communication whether it was through the app or at pick up.
The front desk staff were always warm and friendly which made pick up and drop off more relaxed.
I would highly recommend Boys and Girls Nursery in Watford to parents.

Overall Experience

We had a wonderful experience at Boys & Girls Nursery in Watford, where my little one attended for a year before we moved to their Stanmore branch due to a change in job location.

The team in Watford is absolutely fantastic - friendly, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. They made us feel welcomed

and supported from day one, and my child thrived in their nurturing environment. The staff always took the time to get to know each child individually, and their genuine care and enthusiasm really showed.

I'm grateful for the solid foundation they gave my little one, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a warm and professional setting for their child.

Overall Experience

Our experience with this nursery has been largely disappointing. While it has a small outdoor garden, many other aspects fell short. The toilets were frequently unclean, and general cleanliness across the nursery was poor. Staff changed nearly every month, creating instability and inconsistency for

the children.
More concerning, there were often too few staff members for the number of children, which led to multiple incidents where our son was hurt due to lack of supervision.
Staff were often outside on cigarette breaks, leaving children unattended.
He was frequently bored and unstimulated, receiving little to no individual attention, which forced us to put in extra effort at home to keep him engaged.
The only truly positive part of our experience was two members of staff in particular -kind, dedicated, and generous individuals who genuinely cared about the children. They were the heart of the nursery.
Unfortunately, without major improvements, we cannot recommend this nursery to other families.

Before your child left our nursery in September 2024 (nearly a year has passed since this review has been written) to head off to school, our Nursery Manager and your child's Key Person held regular meetings with yourself to address the issues raised and our concerns regarding behaviour and supporting this at home. Measures and strategies were put in place, which at the time you were supportive of and happy with, we could all see a positive impact this had for your child and he left happy and ready for school. We are always in ratio and our staff need a break, whilst some may smoke, their uniform is always covered by a coat that is not worn around the children and they refresh when they return to nursery, they never smell of cigarettes. We wish you and your family the very best and hope your child's school journey is going well.

Overall Experience

My daughter started with Boys and Girls Croxley Green in January 2025, and I was so pleased with how quickly she settled in the toddler room. The staff are genuinely warm, caring and nurturing and it's great to see her happily going into nursery every day. The environment is educational with a good

mix of fun activities. The communication with the staff is clear and easy and I also love the app which gives us almost live information on all the activities of the day. It gives lot of peace of mind when I know that my daughter is in a caring and safe environment and I would highly recommend this to anyone. Thank you to the wonderful team for everything they do!

I am a new mum and was on mat leave for 1 year. My baby did not settle well when we started to put her in another nursery in Nov 2024. I had lost hope and was not prepared mentally to continue work. We decided to switch her nursery to Watford Boys & Girls in February. Since then, my baby has been settling

well, still having emotional moments here and there, but overall she accepted the nursery and she was greatly supported by the staff in the baby's room. She progressed to eating and enjoying her time away from me. The nursery manager along with her key person had a chat we us after her two months, and suggested ways to work together to make sure she is settled well. We followed the suggestions and we see so much improvement. I am extremely happy with the service I get from Boys and Girls and recommend it to all new parents.

Our little boy started in October and, as first time parents, there was some anxiety leaving him in a childcare setting, however the staff went above and beyond to ensure that he was settled but also allaying our worries too! The settling in days were perfect and the information shared on the App allows

us to see how his day is going.
He LOVES coming to nursery now! This can only be due to the care and attention that ALL staff show him and the carefully thought out activities that he takes part in. We will be very sad to leave the baby room soon, but are excited for his adventures to continue in the toddler room! Thank you for all that you do!

We have both our children at Boys and Girls Nursery and couldn't be happier with our experience. Our children are so happy there and always smiling at drop-off which is amazing. The staff genuinely love our children and it's evident when you spend time inside the rooms as you get a real feel for the
