Day Nurseries Owned by Kirktonholme Childcare in Lanarkshire

We’ve used Kirktonholme Childcare Coatbridge since 2018 for our little girl. It is a fantastic nursery and I would highly recommend. The staff are all fantastic and helpful. They go the extra mile for all the children and update families so well! It is great to see updates from them especially when at work. The settling period was great when she first started and the staff were so patient and helpful during this time. They provide an amazing experience for the children from the baby room to the young people’s room. The outdoor area is fantastic and has a great variety to do for each age group. There are fresh homemade meals each day which is great with a menu changing daily/weekly. I am glad I went with my decision to bring my child here, she speaks about it every day she isn’t there too!

My daughter loves this nursery, the staff were very friendly when we first visited and were very informative. The rooms are spacious and colourful and are updated regularly. The staff took their time with my daughter as she was very shy at the beginning but now she's really improved in all areas, speech and skills and has created a great bond with both her classmates and key workers.

My son is always so well cared for I have huge confidence in the staff, I know that he is well looked after whilst I am at work. The staff are always kind and caring and always have a smile and cuddle for my little one. They are excellent at recognising his individual needs and personality and are helping him develop into a unique person. I am overall very happy with the nursery and I know my son loves his time there.

The nursery plays so much with all the children, there is no TV! They learn through play and are always doing creative play, arts and crafts or in the garden. I love this nursery.

We love Kirktonholme. My daughter attended this nursery for just under a year. The staff are kind, loving and very professional. The rooms are constantly updated and improved to enhance the child’s experience. My daughter's development improved so so much within this nursery. I haven’t a bad word to say about it at all. The staff are continually training too which is reassuring as a parent.

Brilliant nursery with lovely staff. Have no hesitations in leaving my son here knowing he will have a fabulous fun-filled day.

My son just started here two months ago and I can’t believe how well he has settled. All of the women are welcoming and friendly. He loves going in every day to play with his friends and the ladies. It’s so nice to come and get him and even ladies not in his room are saying bye to him. So nice to know he’s in such a loving environment. Speaking of the environment, they have a free flow system where the kids have access to be outside a lot which I love. I also would like to thank the administration team, you ladies helped me so much with the paperwork and were so patient with me. Overall I honestly don’t think I could have picked a better nursery for my son to be in.

They provide healthy and nutritious meals and snacks which are rotated for variety. The staff are friendly, caring, nurturing and have a great sense of fun. I have no doubt my son is cared for to the highest standard when I leave him and I never worry about him during the day when I am not there. He usually comes home very messy and tired which is a great sign of lots of fun being had. Keep up the good work Kirktonholme Airdrie and thank you!

The staff are the main attraction - all very child focussed and a very caring group of individuals.

I looked at 6 nurseries in the local area before picking this one and I have not one regret. They really "know" my children and I have 2 very happy, well adjusted, sociable, smart little people and I know a serious portion of that can be credited to this nursery. Leaving your babies with anyone, especially at this age is so daunting, I have never questioned their happiness or security or safety once in the time that they have been there and could not have anticipated their development being as amazing as it has been. Go check them out you will not be disappointed!

I can't recommend this nursery enough. The children are always busy doing something to bring on their development. My child has came on so much since starting and really likes going in. Staff are friendly, caring and smiley!

In circumstances whereby a child may have additional support needs, the staff work in partnership with all agencies involved in supporting the child. They have a good understanding of GIRFEC wellbeing indicators.

We as carers feel confident in leaving our child in their care and have seen him grow and develop into a confident, bright and happy child during his time at the nursery.

Staff are always keen to provide feedback and take on board any concerns you may have.

The last thing I would like to mention is the great outdoor space they have and children are regularly encouraged to play outside and experience different weather types too. If it’s snowing, they get wrapped up and go out and have fun. It’s a great nursery.

I can’t recommend the nursery enough. Every one of my son's teachers is loving, caring and so kind. They are amazing at what they do and very attentive to all the children in the class. My son settled so easily and I strongly believe that’s down to how friendly and caring the staff are. He always talks about his teachers at the weekends and generally looks forward to seeing them at the start of the week. The food they give to the children is brilliant and healthy and are very accommodating to fussy eaters (my little one).

I would strongly recommend Kirktonholme childcare in East Kilbride and can’t thank them enough for all they have done for our son.

We have now been using Kirktonholme for four years. My eldest son started when he was 9 months old and he has certainly shown the impact a great nursery can have on a child. The range of activities and learning provided by the wonderful staff is amazing and a testament to how my son is today. Each room caters amazingly for the children and age groups, with all rooms allowing the chance of indoor and outdoor learning. Not only this but they provide hot healthy meals and snacks. I cannot forget the sports that are provided every Wednesday that my little boy would not miss, definitely one of his favourite times of the week. The staff are kind, caring and helpful in not only being there for the children but also the parents. I could not have chosen a better nursery for my son and it is for this reason that my youngest will start in April again at the age of nine months. I can’t wait to watch him grow in the same way with the same amazing support and learning. Thank you Kirktonholme!

My daughter has attended Kirktonholme for 7 months now and she absolutely loves it. The staff are very welcoming and polite. The children are able to take part in a wide range of experiences both indoors and outdoors. My daughter especially loves being outdoors and while in Kirktonholme the staff make sure and encourage lots of outdoor play in all weathers. The staff also provide the children with healthy meals throughout the day and have helped to encourage my daughter to eat her fruit as this is something she is not keen on. Thank you, ladies, for taking such good care of my daughter.

Great ladies in every room I'm on my second time round with my second child and it's just as good l, we have used this nursery for nearly 4 years and the high standers are constantly being reached love them and can't recommend them enough.

I can't fault this nursery in any way whatsoever! They are all amazing! Staff are so welcoming and if there is any problems you can go to anyone of them and rest assured it will be dealt with appropriately.

I can't recommend Kirktonholme East Kilbride enough, they are absolutely brilliant with the children and the different learning experiences they provide are brilliant, my son has now been attending for 4 months and at first he wouldn't settle but we stuck with it and now he runs in with a smile and this is down to the brilliant team they have there knowing all the individual children's needs.
