Day Nurseries Owned by Montessori Education in Dorset

We cannot rate this amazing nursery and team highly enough. Our child attended Bay Tree for over three years, and loved it. The team are incredible, the facilities beautiful and communication with us as parents was always wonderful. Thank you.

Our son went to Bay Tree from the age of 2 until starting school. He transferred from another nursery, which he had been at since he was 9 months old so we were definitely nervous. From his first day he absolutely loved it and we saw how quickly his confidence and skills grew whilst at Bay Tree. We can not recommend this nursery enough.

Me and my husband we are both really pleased with Bay Tree Montessori and we definitely recommend it to our friends!

We used Bay Tree from the ages of 2-4 and had the most amazing experience. The staff were like family to us and I really felt like they did everything they could to help and support us in every way possible. When my son started he had delayed / limited speech however the staff use flash cards and have a good understanding of sign language so it was reassuring to know that he could still communicate with his teachers before he was able to communicate verbally. There was many other ways they ensured my sons individual needs were met and the staff were all so helpful and supportive in every way possible. He has now started reception and is thriving at school thanks to everything his nursery teachers have taught him and done to help prepare him. He has left nursery with more confidence and independence than when he started and will miss you all dearly but plans to return when he is older as a teacher, clearly inspired by the staff at Bay Tree! Really couldn't recommend them enough.

We will always be incredibly grateful for everything the staff have done for both of our children and for all the wonderful memories they have helped create

We are so pleased that our daughter attended ACM, both the Bambini Room and Children's House. We can really see the results of the staff's wonderful approach, helping to instil kindness and confidence in her. ACM created such a kind, caring and nurturing environment. She is very sad to leave, but we can see that she is equipped with all the skills she needs to start school. We are really grateful for her time at ACM and would highly recommend it.

My son spent 2 years at Bay Tree and has had a very positive experience. From 9 months old he has learned early skills and how to play and socialise with other children in a nurturing environment. All of the staff are extremely supportive and caring and we always felt that he was in very safe hands.

We are so grateful to Bay Tree Nursery for the wonderful support they have given our son, Jayden, since he joined in September 2024. When he first arrived, he could not speak English, but with patience, encouragement, and care from all the teachers, he has made amazing progress and can now speak English confidently. The teachers have guided him step by step throughout his nursery journey, always making him feel safe, happy, and supported. Jayden has truly enjoyed his time at the nursery, and we have loved seeing his confidence and personality grow. Thank you to the whole team for everything you have done! I truly recommend this nursery for all people!

My son has been attending Bay Tree Montessori, and we have seen such a wonderful improvement in him in so many different ways. He has achieved so many milestones during his time there, and we couldn't be happier with his progress.

All the staff have been absolutely amazing, caring and supportive. They go above and beyond to help and encourage the children in every way. My son has been one of the happiest children at nursery, and it has been so lovely to see him grow in confidence and develop new skills.

I truly cannot thank all the staff enough for everything they have done for him. We are incredibly grateful for all their hard work, kindness and dedication. We would highly recommend Bay Tree Montessori to any parent looking for a wonderful nursery for their child

My son has thrived and flourished at this nursery. His social skills, his fine motor skills, his ability to play with other children, his engagement with life around him - it all added up to support him in making his next step. Staff at the nursery are attentive, professional, hard working and genuinely care about the children - I certainly felt very confident leaving my son and they understood and supported completely his initial anxiety when he was left. Communication is excellent and using the app, I had a clear understanding of how his day was going. I am gutted he had to take his next step and leave the nursery - I would 100% recommend this establishment and professionally I have been a senior leader in education for twenty years! As I said to the team when my son left - keep doing what you do - you are changing lives!

Picked my grandaughter up after day at nursery. Felt welcomed by staff & no problem with picking her up as my daughter had told them I would be coming. My grandaughter absolutely loves it here & was full of what she'd been doing & her friends. Well done to all the staff for doing such a good job.

We have had such a positive experience of Ashley Cross Montessori. When my first child was ready to go, I wasn't sure I was but the team at nursery were amazing at helping her settle in, and giving me plenty of reassuring updates. My second started this year and it's been another amazing start. In all of their interactions with our family, I feel like they work with us as parents, and love our girls. We are really proud of the development and skills the girls are picking up and the friendships they are beginning to make. We love this nursery and highly recommend it.

He has grown so much in confidence, loves the baby ballet classes and genuinely seems to be blooming there.

From his very first day, he came out excited that he had friends now and knew their names, he wanted to go back. The 1-2-1 activities with staff and their instinct to go above and beyond, such as all staff attending a deaf awareness course in their own time, speaks volumes. His disability has been recognised and he is loved and cared for. We wish we had chosen this nursery sooner but glad they are the much needed stepping stone before school.

Would highly recommend.

Upon reviewing other nurseries, including Ashley Cross Montessori this was the nursery that I wanted my children to go to the importance of learning through play, the independence that your children are given and the care and love that the staff put in as well. Your children are safe and that is one of the biggest worries when you send your children to nursery. I 100% would recommend this nursery above others. All the children know each other there is smaller groups than other nurseries so it's not as wild and focus on getting your children to the next step was there. My children were ready for school after being here and I will be eternally grateful to the staff here. Thank you

They have been very kind and helpful.

We're really grateful - this nursery has played such an important role in both of their development, and we couldn't be happier!

It's hard to put my love for this place and the 'ladies' (as we call them!) into words! ACM has exceeded my expectations which were already high. I can't fault the care, true attentiveness, emotional attunement, intelligence, or nurture of everybody at ACM, but more than that, the natural human-ness of them all. It's a place at which I can leave my son knowing with full confidence he's safe, developing without pressure or expectation, free to express himself, has his boundaries respected and where his natural curiosity can flourish. The children are, unsurprisingly, very capable and independent. The nursery feels like family to us, and I'm already dreading the day we have to say goodbye! Other nurseries I've heard about or visited do not come remotely close in terms of offering an environment that truly respects the child, which is informed by child neurological development and which has genuine love and respect at its core. I can't recommend ACM highly enough, it's a beautiful place.

I would absolutely recommend Bay Tree Nursery to any parent-especially those who might feel nervous about the transition. Your child will be seen, supported, and loved here.
