As a particularly anxious mother, I was incredibly nervous about sending my little boy to nursery. From the very beginning, however, I have been so impressed by the professionalism of all the staff, as well as by how caring, sensitive and patient they have been. They have been wonderfully reassuring as we have worked through the settling-in period, and I have really appreciated the time they have taken to support both my son and me.

It has meant so much to see lovely photos of my little boy looking happy, settled and clearly enjoying himself with the staff. Shelley, Chloe, Savannah and Naila have all been absolutely wonderful, and I really cannot praise them enough for their kindness, warmth and care.

I would also like to give special thanks to Rebekah, the manager, who has been supportive in helping us navigate the financial support available for working parents. This has made Smart Tots affordable for us as a family, and I can honestly say it feels like money extremely well spent.

The nursery environment is clean, bright, and stimulating, with excellent facilities and plenty of opportunities for play, learning, and exploration. Communication with parents is also fantastic - you always feel informed and involved in your child's day and progress.

My son joined Smart Tots in September, since he has joined we have already seen so much development. He loves being at nursery and is always excited to go in. The staff at nursery are incredible. They have made the transition so smooth and made us feel comfortable. It feels like home from home for my son. We couldn't be more grateful for this nursery and all of the staff.

Although we are very happy with the nursery setting and the amazing staff, the cost is a lot to consider.

Our child has been attending Saltway for 5 months now and he really enjoys his time there. Although wary to start with the staff were excellent at building his confidence and earning his trust. The nursery has been great with daily communication and updates using the app. We can see what he's eaten, how long he slept and when he was changed. The highlight is the photo and brief description of what activities he has been doing and what he's enjoyed. We're very happy with our experience at Saltway and love seeing our child learn and gain more and more confidence.

We are very happy with Saltway Day Nursery, the staff are all welcoming, kind, caring people who our son and us are very fond of, making it much easier leaving our son in their care all day. The staff do an incredible job looking after all the children making every day exciting for them, giving them precious learning experiences through both structured and free play, and allowing them to to discover themselves individually as well as in a group. This is particularly important to my partner and I as our son is an only child.

My son loves his time at Saltway Nursery. He is so happy going in every morning and enjoys the range of activities and toys on offer. They spend plenty of time outside doing crafts and other creative tasks. These activities have really helped his development. All of the staff are fantastic and this makes it so much easier to leave your child with them. They always provide a brilliant debrief and it's supported by good information on the management system.

My daughter has started at Saltway this month and the overall experience has been so positive. She loves her days there and is happy and smiley when I collect her. I love the updates in the app in the day letting me know what she's been up to and I feel like the staff care for her like their own. Highly recommend!

Our daughter has attended Smart Tots Nursery since the age of 10 months and the wonderful staff has helped her learn and thrive, growing in the happy, confident and smart little girl she is. Their dedication, care, early years experience have been pivotal in ensuring our daughter has a great time, she is so happy when I tell her in the morning it's another nursery day. The staff provides excellent and diverse play and learning activities, both indoors and outdoors. The food is healthy and cooked on the premises, the menu is varied on a weekly rotation and the staff is very attentive to food intolerance's/allergies. Opening times are very convenient for working parents and Smart Tots offers extra early drop off / late pick up options, which we have used in the past. All in all we are so pleased with our choice as we have peace of mind that when our little one is not with us she is in a stimulating, nurturing environment she loves and where she can learn and have fun.

Can't speak more highly of the amazing people here. From the awesome manager to the amazing team who look after my little boy. Saltway is a brilliant nursery and such a warm and excellent environment; my children have thrived here! Couldn't recommend it more highly!

My husband and I are very happy with Saltway Day Nursery. The staff are amazing! They are very attentive, friendly and supportive. Our son is always happy to go into nursery and has thrived being here. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

The staff have been excellent at accommodating my son's needs as he initially struggled to sleep well at nursery, but we worked together and it's much better now. He also had eczema, which they were really good at managing. In general, my son has grown in confidence so much since starting nursery, and is more comfortable in social situations as a result. Everything is well-considered and love the updates throughout the day, on the app. The food menu is varied, exposing children to different types of food, which is great. All in all very happy with the nursery. The only other thing to note is fees have gone up quite a bit in the last year, but it's hard to know how much of that is due to increasing running costs.

We looked around several nurseries before choosing Smart Tots for our 1-year-old and could not be happier with our decision. The manager is superb and has been a pleasure to deal with. The staff are all incredibly caring (many longstanding) and engaged with my daughter who loves going in every day to take part in lots of messy and fun activities which I can see on the brilliant app. The lack of official parking and outside play space hasn't been an issue to date with all other aspects (including the excellent opening hours) making up for this. Thank you Smart Tots for being the best nursery team a full-time working mum could wish for!

All the staff are welcoming and friendly. My child is happy to be left with any of them, not just her key worker. My child is well socialised and gets plenty of variety during her time at nursery. The app is really useful for keeping updated throughout the day and we really look forward to seeing photos of what she has been up to each day.

The play time outside is a firm favourite for my child. The activities in the day are brilliant and change all the time. I can’t ask for more, and I won’t because what they offer is brilliant. Thank you, Smart Tots.

Our little boy has been going to Smart Tots since he was 12-months-old. We have always found the nursery to be excellent, from the caring staff to the activities they do and the array of meals provided. Would thoroughly recommend this nursery. We have never found anything that isn't too much trouble for them. Very accommodating to any requests.

My daughter has been attending Smart Tots since she was 9 months old, I’m extremely happy with the service they give. Since the first settling-in session, she has had a smile on her face every time she is handed over to one of the staff members. The app is amazing and keeps me updated every 1-2 hours on what she’s eaten/toilet/slept/played with. All the staff are very friendly (although I haven’t met many due to Covid) the Manager always puts me at ease and explains everything for me. They have followed my routine I have given them for what I do with my daughter at home. I’m extremely happy with the service and would highly recommend it.
