We couldn't have asked for a better nursery for our son. Not only was the pastoral care second to none, but he was learning while he played. After a year and a half at The Cathedral School nursery he could read simple sentences, use complex vocabulary for his age, and was a more confident and
rounded boy because of his experience.

My daughter attended The Cathedral School nursery prior to attending reception also at The Cathedral school and we found it the most wonderful, nurturing environment. Our daughter grew so much and whilst she did progress very well academically, it's was done through play and encouragement. Her
confidence grew massively and she has transitioned in to reception without any issues at all as a result of the wonderful environment provided by the teachers and teaching assistants.

I have found the both the pastoral care in nursery and the opportunities for learning excellent. There is a fantastic energy from the staff and always a great buzz.
The children have access to outdoor play at all times, some of which is covered. This was an important factor in our choice of
nursery.
The children are exposed to a wide variety of choice in what they can play with, and the activites that help prepare them for learning are fun and engaging.
We couldn't be happier with our child's experience here.

My son had a great experience at this nursery and loved every day of it. He loved the teachers and developed and learnt a lot during the year. There is good discipline in a fair and beneficial way. They inspire the children to learn through play. It prepared him for reception very well and the
transition was smooth. I think the space is thoughtfully set up with little learning areas indoors and outdoors. There's not a lot of greenery in the outdoor space, but they do have access to a forest school on the grounds. The food is good in the sense that you get to choose between several options and my child liked it and never went hungry, but there is no option to send a packed lunch.

We have been overwhelmed by the excellence of The Cathedral School, Llandaff. Staff are enthusiastic, kind, innovative and genuine. The care and attention they put into each and every child cannot be missed. I really feel as though they have got to know our children and go above and beyond to help
them develop and foster a love for learning. The facilities are excellent, with wonderfully diverse extra curricular provision (even in the nursery!), and clear and comprehensive communication. We are thankful for all you do - thank you.
