I thought about rewriting this thank-you email, but decided it said everything I wanted to say!
"We just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping to settle our son during his first two weeks. We were understandably a little worried about the change of setting for him, but everyone has been so
warm and friendly, which has made all the difference.
In particular, Izzy - who our son holds his hands out to see each morning - this has been incredibly reassuring for us as parents. We've also really appreciated the communication about his day. Above all, we truly feel that all the staff know who our son is, and that sense of care has created a lovely community of people working together to look after our baby.
Thank you again for helping us settle in. What you all do is wonderful.

Little Treacles Nursery is truly exceptional. From day one, the kindness and care shown by every member of staff has been outstanding. They are not only wonderful with the children, but incredibly supportive of families too - always approachable, understanding, and genuinely invested in each child's
wellbeing and development.
The nursery itself is a fantastic environment: calm, nurturing, and thoughtfully set up to encourage curiosity, confidence, and learning through play. You can see how much effort goes into creating a space where children feel safe, happy, and excited to be there each day.
What really sets Little Treacles apart is the dedication of the team. Nothing is ever too much trouble whether it's supporting individual needs, keeping parents informed, or going the extra mile to make every child feel special. The care they provide goes far beyond what you would expect, and it shows in how settled and happy the children.

Such a lovely nursery, really feels part of the village. My 18 month old has settled amazingly well and after just a few weeks already has a big grin on her face when we arrive. They seem to go to the library on little trips regularly, which my daughter absolutely loves, and I think they use the
park often too.

As a first time parent I was perhaps naive before having our daughter in thinking that most nurseries are created equal and they are by and large all the same. However, after looking round several, we found that this is absolutely not the case!
On visiting Little Treacles when our daughter was
only a few weeks' old, we found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly and impressive. You can completely tell that looking after children is a vocation for the team - and not just a job! It was a no brainer to choose Little Treacles as the place to send our daughter. She absolutely loves it there and it was so reassuring to us when we went back to work to know that she was having a great time there and thriving. The updates on the app and the debriefs at the end of each day are so helpful too and we love knowing how much she's wolfed down of the food each day. Overall I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Little Treacles to anyone looking for a nursery setting for their child!

Have been with LT since inception and they've grown from strength to strength. Top care and attention consistently; both our children really enjoy their time there and have developed significantly as a result of the super staff.

Everyone at Little Treacle's welcome my daughter and I with a big smile each and every day, making us feel immediately comfortable and helped so much at the beginning with my nervousness in particular.
Since starting three months ago, we've seen a huge development in our daughter's confidence,
motor skills and babbling.
Her two primary carers send me regular updates throughout the day and a thorough run through of the same at pick-up which again helps me feel informed and confident she's in good hands.
I've not had any concerns but have had loads of questions and they have always been met with a 'no question too little' attitude which we really appreciate as first time parents.
Overall, I believe our daughter really loves Little Treacle's, her smile when the door opens in the morning says it all!

My daughter has attended the nursery since we moved to Otford in May. Little Treacles have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and bed us into the new village. This started from opening the setting on a Saturday to let us view and meet some of the team and they haven't looked back since.
They provide a varied curriculum for our daughter and she is thriving under their stewardship. I would highly recommend the nursery to any parent looking for a setting for their child.

We moved to the area in the summer, and one of the things we were concerned about was taking our son out of his nursery at the time (which he'd been attending since he was a baby) and having to establish him at a new one.
We had nothing to worry about. It took him a matter of days to be
comfortable in his new setting, and now several weeks down the line he absolute loves it, and the welcoming team there have been a completely pivotal part of that transition.
When they're not having fun inside the nursery (the staff provide all kinds of games & activities) they are taking trips to the local library, the allotment nearby, and he's even taken part in his first sportsday! I can't recommend enough, and particularly for people who want a place that feels like an integral part of the community.

Lovely local nursery. The staff are highly supportive of all family situations and go to great efforts to give all children a fun and stimulating experience.
Not bless with lots of outside space but make sure they have fun visits to the park and nearby fields.

My son absolutely loves Little Treacles, which was a huge weight off our minds when he first joined at the start of the year. The staff were so welcoming and supportive, we get regular updates and we love hearing about the fun he's had when we pick him up in the afternoon!

Our son settled in well and very quickly at Little Treacles after leaving his previous nursery due to moving house.
We have always found the staff to be easy to speak to, have good handovers on pick up which never feel rushed and he has always come home happy but very tired! As soon as we viewed
Little Treacles for the first time, he was off exploring, playing and engaging with Sam and the team and we may as well have not even been there.
The food options are varied, they have dance and sports classes, and also visit the local library and the playing field and park frequently. The ducklings that visit for a couple of weeks every year make a lovely addition and teaches children about gentle hands and valuable life lessons.
I would not hesitate to recommend Little Treacles to any parent or caregiver considering it and we are very sad to be moving on to primary school in September. We've even enrolled our son in after school care there as our son is so content at Little Treacles.

My daughter has attended Little Treacles for nearly a year and loves it. The nursery has grown massively in the short time it has been open which to me, is a sign that the kids and parents love what they're offering. The staff are fantastic, they clearly love what they do and they have a wealth of
experience and know the children really well. I particularly like that all the staff spend time with her in some capacity and she knows everyone's names, it really helps when they move up an age group to have a familiar face. They do lots and lots of messy play too which my daughter loves. My daughter is really happy to go there and there are no tears at drop off, the handovers are thorough and they are always really good at communicating any last minute slots that become available. Overall I am very happy with my choice.

My son adores Little Treacle's and my husband and I have noticed such a huge development in his learning and skills since being at the nursery! He loves every member of the team & is genuinely excited to go! We love seeing his observation updates on their app with all the different activities he
does each day, and it's a lovely mix of outdoor play, dancing, painting & more! Little treacle's is highly recommended by us, our son is thriving being there & we love the flexibility of days / times for him to attend, the amazing meals he has for lunch, the learning activities & all of the Little Treacle's staff too!

Our daughter has been at Little Treacles for over a year and loves it. She asks to go in on days she isn't booked and is always happy to be dropped off there. The staff really take good care of them and she has developed some wonderful friendships. There is always a good handover and they are
fantastic in catering for her special dietary requirements and intolerance. They always make sure they include her and provide alternatives when she can't have the food that is provided for the other children. They take little trips out all the time, have sports visitors in to do sessions with the children and generally provide them with great experiences. The outside space isn't huge but they make the most of it and do use the field and playground which is super close. I will be sending my youngest there too and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Our child has been going to Little Treacle's for over 6 months. The child is very happy in the setting and as parents we are equally happy with the way the nursery accommodates kids' preferences and interests, as well as their wellbeing. It's always tricky when kids are at a very young age and
cannot communicate properly, but we feel the nursery staff and management are very attentive to their needs.
Since it reopened under new Management last year, the nursery is very popular locally and overall we're happy with the setting they have created for kids and the care they give them. I have no hesitation in recommending it to other parents thinking of choosing Little Treacle's for their little ones.

We are so thrilled with Little Treacle's Nursery, where our son has been attending. He absolutely adores it, and it's clear why. The staff are exceptional-warm, attentive, and dedicated to keeping parents fully informed. At pickup, they provide a thorough handover, detailing his day, and they're
always happy to take calls if we want an update, which offers such peace of mind. Since starting at Little Treacle's, our son's development has progressed remarkably; his learning and confidence have grown by leaps and bounds. He comes home beaming, chatting endlessly about how much he loves the nursery and the staff. We couldn't ask for a better environment for him!

We love Little Treacles! Our 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son attend the nursery and they couldn't be happier there. The team are professional, kind, caring and well trained in what they do which is everything that we that we want. We love that our children are constantly learning through
play and exposed to many exciting experiences, both in the nursery including sports and dance lessons and further afield including a trip to the theatre and local soft play! The nursery leadership is impeccable, we feel that our children are exceptionally safe and nurtured in the environment and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Little Treacles to anyone!

My son started at Little Treacles Nursery in September and we couldn't be happy with the level of care he has received there. All the staff are absolutely brilliant, in particular my son's key worker and another staff member. He raves about them and what they've gotten up to every time we get home.
We feel comfortable leaving him in their care and confident that he will be well looked after.
The actual nursery has a lovely set up, with plenty of choice of toys and activities and is always kept clean. The location is great as it's right next to a park and playing fields where the children are taken to often to get outdoor time.
We love that we get observations with photos and descriptions every time he's there so we can keep up to date with what he's doing.
In summary, we would highly recommend Little Treacles to anyone that is looking for a nursery for their little one.

My daughter started only a few months ago and has settled so well. All the staff are so warm and welcoming. There are always lots of lovely toys and activities for her to do and I can see from her photo updates that she is loving it. I can also say that the food smells amazing! Highly recommend
