Our son has been attending Monkey Puzzle nursery for the last year and we couldn't be happier. They have played a massive part in his development and we are incredibly grateful. The atmosphere created by the wonderful staff has meant our son has settled in so well and loves going to nursery. He has a fantastic bond with all staff he engages with and especially with his key worker and room leader. The staff are all absolute superstars and a pleasure to deal with. They constantly make me as a parent feel comfortable and happy that they care about my son's welfare and development. They go above and beyond to keep the children stimulated and cared for, as well as keeping us parents informed. I love the end of day/pick up de-briefs I get and I love how much we get from the app, where regular photos and posts are shared, which makes me feel part of my son's day even when I'm at work. I couldn't recommend Monkey Puzzle nursery more. It's an amazing place for babies and toddlers to grow.

We are so happy with our little boy's journey at Monkey Puzzle BS. The team have been incredibly supportive, especially around my return to work while I was still breastfeeding. We love the regular photo updates, but most importantly, we adore the whole team and the bond they have with our little boy. One of the things that really stands out is how all the staff - even those in different rooms - know the children's names and clearly keep up to date with their progress and personalities. It creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every child feels recognised and valued. We feel especially lucky to have his keyworker. Not only does she care for him as if he were her own, but she also provides thoughtful, meaningful updates. She knows when he's not quite himself and is always ready with the best cuddles (for him!). She's also a great laugh, and we completely trust her. People often comment on how advanced our son's speech is, and we truly credit this to the nursery!

My son is in the toddlers class and has been attending this nursery for over a year now. We are very impressed with the nursery and he loves going and has made some great bonds with the key workers. The staff always inform us at the end of the day how his day was (and we are well updated on the app with his naps, what he has eaten and regular photos). It looks as though the staff are creative and come up with plenty of different activities for the children and not just the same ones. The menu is also very good and offers a seasonal variety (after a questionnaire was sent to us last year a few parents asked for healthier food choices and that was instantly taken on board). We would highly recommend this nursery!

Fantastic nursery setting. My son really loves the workers, and it's incredibly reassuring seeing his bond and happiness when he is around them. Really supportive environment for children with supportive needs; from key worker to management staff, everyone I've spoken to has been great and active steps such as training have been taken to provide support where necessary. My child loves going to nursery, and has learnt so much from their daily activities and sessions they put on such as Monkey Music. Love seeing photos throughout the day and have been very impressed with their offerings on nutrition and extra curricular activities (such as having fire engines, and diggers visit the children). The verbal updates on their day are detailed and any issues are communicated promptly via the app or called, when necessary. Improvement could be made by more regular child development / progression reviews and formal summaries provided on a monthly basis or at parents' evening.

We've had a fantastic experience of Monkey Puzzle nursery in supporting our son from toddlers to the preschool class. We have enjoyed hearing about the additional activities that have been specially arranged such as the football sessions, park trips and local business visits (our son particularly liked the session with the dentist and this really helped him to be motivated around dental care more than just listening to us as his parents!). The team are consistently friendly and responsive. I've particularly valued the close oversight by the Deputy Manager.

Lovely staff who are easy to talk to and really care about your child. Whoever is there always gives a quick debrief on collection about how your child's day has been which is lovely, on top of the detailed app updates and pictures in the day. Very happy we have chosen this nursery, and it's great that it has aircon in this weather so the babies don't struggle in the heat.

We have been using the nursery for over a year now. The communication from the nursery is excellent and we have always had trust and confidence in the staff. Our child has learnt so much and the activities are always varied. The setting is light and airy and the garden is a great asset. Our child is very happy there and runs in at drop-off which is all the feedback we need.

Our son has thoroughly enjoyed his time at monkey puzzle and I am so pleased and impressed by all the staff and set up they have. There is so much to do and every one in there knows every child and always says hello and makes a big fuss. These are people who truly love what they do and it shines through the kids and how much they are learning and enjoying their time there. I am so glad we chose Monkey Puzzle before our son starts at the school. They have been amazing and I will always be grateful for everything they have done and continue to do. Thank you

I couldn't be happier with our experience at Monkey Puzzle. The staff are incredibly caring, patient, and genuinely invested in each child's well-being and development.The environment is bright, safe, and filled with engaging activities that encourage creativity, learning, and social skills. I've noticed such positive growth in my child's confidence, communication, and independence since joining. It's clear that the team goes above and beyond-not just meeting basic needs, but also nurturing each child's individuality and making them feel valued and loved. The regular updates, photos, and feedback give us peace of mind and make us feel part of our child's daily journey. I'm so grateful we found Monkey Puzzle. I have had an excellent experience with Monkey Puzzle. I was anxious to leave my first grandson but the setting have been amazing at helping him to settle in and keeping us up to date with his progress on the app. I myself work in a childcare setting and have been very impressed with this nursery. The key workers in particular have been amazing and so friendly.

We love Monkey Puzzle. The staff are all great, so friendly and caring. They're always keeping the app up to date, including lots of photos every day. Our little one loves his days there, and is learning so much. There is always a wide variety of things to play with, including messy play, water play, and a lovely outdoor garden. Our family has had a wonderful experience with this nursery since January 2024, when our eldest daughter joined at the age of one. She began her journey in the baby room, where the staff were incredibly caring, attentive, and reassuring, making the transition smooth for both her and us as parents. As she grew, she progressed into the toddler room, where she has continued to thrive. The staff are consistently warm, friendly, and engaging, providing a wide variety of activities that encourage her learning, creativity, and social skills. Communication is excellent, with regular updates on her daily activities, meals, and milestones, helping us feel closely involved in her journey. The environment is clean, well-organised, and full of stimulating resources. We look forward to her progressing into preschool and are excited for our youngest daughter to join the baby room this September, confident she will receive the same loving care. We couldn't be happier with the nursery and the team.

My daughter has attended this nursery from the age of 1. So she has experienced each classroom: Babies, Toddlers and Preschool. She loves going to nursery and the staff are all amazing. The lunchtime food menu is excellent, with a nee supplement I am hoping that the breakfast menu may start to expand as well. Overall a brilliant setting.

I was impressed with the structure of the day, from drop-off to pick-up. The Monkey Puzzle team ensures they communicate effectively through the application as well as telephone calls. We waited just under four weeks before our daughter joined the nursery, based on a word-of-mouth referral. I appreciate that the children follow a clear daily routine, which helps maintain consistency at home as well. The team knows all the children well, and for a relatively new nursery in the area, they have far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them, as my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her experience and has developed great confidence.

My little one loves going to the nursery! The staff are very kind and helpful and engage children in a lot of different activities. They make sure every child is happy and comfortable. For example, my little one loves being outside so they take her out to the garden every day and spend hours there if weather permits. The staff are also great with talking to the parents. They give us daily updates on our babies' development.

Both my grandchildren attend this nursery and every time we pick up, all the children seem super happy and the staff are kind friendly and bubbly! Everyone always says good morning or have a lovely evening and the feedback at the end of the evening always seems thorough. Our daughter always lets us know how they have eaten before we collect them as she is able to see it on the app straight away. When we ask our grandchildren about their days (one is 3 and one is 1.5) the eldest always tells us what she's been up to, which usually includes, lots of creativity (e.g painting, foam play), sand and water play, time in the garden and lots of music and dancing. Thanks so much for giving our grandchildren such a great start in life!

Our son has been at Monkey Puzzle since June 2024 in the pre-school room. The staff have been very friendly and helpful in the development of our son. He has the opportunity to play outside a lot and the facilities on offer are top-notch. The nursery is very clean and the staff are always great at keeping us updated throughout the day on activities that the children are doing. We are very happy with the nursery, and our daughter will be starting in the baby room next month. We highly recommend this as a nursery!

I have 1 child at Monkey Puzzle Bishop's Stortford who is in the preschool room. She goes two mornings a week and has massively grown in confidence since she started attending in January 2024. They have a wide range of different activities and a lovely outside space. The staff there are all really lovely and friendly and genuinely take an interest in the development of your child. The food options are all very well balanced and lots of options which help with your child trying new foods. I will be sending my younger child there as well who will start in the new year.

The staff are very friendly and have been very helpful with any queries we have had. Our son loves the baby room and is welcomed and settled in a professional yet calming manner. We love the fact the children are taken outside a lot during the day as well as the variety of toys and enrichment offered indoors.
