View Full Details of Muddy Boots at the FarmThe nursery is an amazing setting, Rachel and Lily are amazing in the baby room. To me the app is a hindrance and sets a high expectation to parents, looking for updates all day every day. The team don't have the time, I don't see what the harm is in having a proper hand over at the end of the day. Some photos are great and an added bonus. Also the food that is being provided in terms of lunch time meals all I am hearing is the same things each week and that yoghurt is always being provided as pudding. Can they not have rice pudding, custard and fruit and have a bit of a change.
I am so pleased I chose this nursery, my daughter has had the best time. She has made so many friends with other kids and staff. The outside space is first class and she has enjoyed learning so much about outdoors, from growing and caring for plants/food and even cooking what they have grown on outdoor fire. The staff are exceptional and are always happy, enthusiastic and motivated, dedicated to ensuring the children are having fun and learning in a safe and happy place. I have seen how much my daughter has learnt and how her confidence has grown. I really couldn't have asked for a better place for her to begin her journey in. Thank you Muddy Boots - I wish she could stay longer! x
Our child loves going to Muddy Boots, he cannot get in the door quick enough. His development has grown massively since starting here. The staff are brilliant, so friendly and passionate about their job. There is such a variety of activities for the children, and my child certainly loves being in their outside space. We can't fault it at all.
Our Son has been attending Muddy Boots for 3 years now and starts school in September. We are so sad our nursery journey is coming to an end as he has just thrived there and never have we had a day where he doesn't want to attend. The girls are amazing, particularly a few specific members of staff - he raves about them. The balance between outdoor play and age appropriate learning is excellent. The manager manages the nursery brilliantly and is responsive to any requests etc. Thank you girls for all you do for the children - I would recommend Muddy Boots the farm to anyone.
Muddy Boots have provided excellent support to both of my children, encouraged their development and provided emotional support for my more anxious child when needed. The staff are wonderful and the manager is always happy to help if I have any queries or issues. The children get a really good amount of time outside playing which I love!
Muddy Boots is absolutely exemplary. The staff there care deeply about the children and get to know them like their own. They are flexible and helpful, I have never been shamed about forgetting a sunhat or coat even though I'm terrible at it. They make every effort to accommodate day changes when needed. They've been helpful and supportive when our younger child had to exclude dairy from their diet. The activities they arrange for the kids are inventive, and connected to seasons and cultures. I was deeply impressed when they began teaching about diversity and inclusion when my older child (no longer there) was only about 4. They did so in an accessible, positive way. The children spend an enormous amount of time outdoors, all year round when possible. They utilise local resources like the farm and the arboretum. My younger child loves her time there, and my older child still reminisces about it fondly. I would recommend them without hesitation.
Lovely caring nursery with a focus on spending time outdoors. We were really happy with the nursery we used for our older child but went for Muddy Boots instead for our youngest because she loves being outside. At first, she would cry when we dropped her off but now she is really keen to get there. When she had her settling sessions I got a chance to chat with the team there who are kind, sensible and dedicated. Compared to other nurseries, Muddy Boots is extremely calm- the children and staff are more relaxed. Some nurseries can be very noisy and it can feel quite overwhelming, but because of the good space indoors and outdoors, it feels peaceful. We get good communications during the day, there is an app and we get pictures and an 'observation'. I also like the location - lots of parking and I can nip into the local town if I need anything!
