We love the strong emphasis on outdoor play. Set on a farm, it's an idyllic environment and our son absolutely adores being outside. The nursery offers a great mix of activities, including arts and crafts, reading, and imaginative play.
Recently, they had visits from a police car and an ambulance, which my son hasn't stopped talking about.
All the staff are warm and approachable, making drop-offs and pick-ups easy and reassuring. We feel completely comfortable leaving our son in their care and would highly recommend the nursery.

Despite her being very nervous at the start she is now very happy and eager to get into nursery in the mornings which is a clear testament to the nursery itself.

The nursery is an amazing setting, Rachel and Lily are amazing in the baby room. To me the app is a hindrance and sets a high expectation to parents, looking for updates all day every day. The team don't have the time, I don't see what the harm is in having a proper hand over at the end of the day....

Also the food that is being provided in terms of lunch time meals all I am hearing is the same things each week and that yoghurt is always being provided as pudding. Can they not have rice pudding, custard and fruit and have a bit of a change.

We were really happy with the nursery we used for our older child but went for Muddy Boots instead for our youngest because she loves being outside. At first, she would cry when we dropped her off but now she is really keen to get there. When she had her settling sessions I got a chance to chat with the team there who are kind, sensible and dedicated. Compared to other nurseries, Muddy Boots is extremely calm- the children and staff are more relaxed. Some nurseries can be very noisy and it can feel quite overwhelming, but because of the good space indoors and outdoors, it feels peaceful. We get good communications during the day, there is an app and we get pictures and an 'observation'. I also like the location - lots of parking and I can nip into the local town if I need anything!

Hi, I’m Jenny.
After leaving secondary school, I went straight into studying childcare and went on to complete my Level 3 qualification. I then spent five years working as a full-time nanny before gaining further experience in a pre-school setting.
I later joined Muddy Boots, where I have worked across all age groups and progressed from practitioner to Room Leader, Deputy Manager and now Nursery Manager.
I have always been passionate about working in early years, and I especially love our farm setting. Being outdoors offers children so many opportunities to explore, learn and grow, and it’s a joy to see this every day.
