View Full Details of Tomberries NurseryI have two children at Tomberries Nursery, one in the baby room and the other is in preschool. Both started when they were 12 months old and I couldn't be happier with the care, attention, food, education and overall development the nursery have given to my children over the past few years. My two kids are always so excited to go into nursery, in fact often asking to go to nursery on the weekends, and they come home singing songs, sharing stories and excited about their events of the day , including being excited to practice writing their letters and putting sounds together. I highly recommend, and have recommended to many families, to join Tomberries, it really is such a great nursery!
I would highly recommend Tomberries as a great nursery to send your children to. I have two children there, one in the baby room and another in pre-school. The teachers are really great, extremely caring and knowledgeable and I've seen great development in both children since they started attending the nursery. The chef is great too! My kids are encouraged to try a variety of foods and I never worry they will go hungry or not enjoy the food - Chef is great! The activities and sensory activities the staff put together are always so stimulating and educational. My wife and I (and our children) will be so sad when our time at Tomberries comes to an end for "big school."
Our 2-year-old-son was in Tomberries for 16 months. All feedback was positive. We were never consulted regarding any potential issues. Out of the blue we received a one month notice of termination of childcare services stating a need for 1:1 support for him. We questioned this with his key worker who confirmed the recommendation did not come from her and was equally as shocked by it. Another boy had an identical email citing similar needs. The manager took no responsibility and stated we must speak to Accounts (who had sent the email). Our attempts to setup a meeting to better understand the reasoning were denied. We raised a formal complaint to which the response was that they were terminating our nursery services immediately due to a breakdown in trust. We haven't received any feedback about the evaluation or reason behind the need for 1:1 care. We do not recommend Tomberries as a result of this experience and management’s lack of communication and willingness to consult.
