We could not have asked for a better start to our daughter's learning journey than with Hitchin House Day Nursery. It is a testament to the staff that our daughter so greatly looks forward to attending this nursery every week. The staff have been phenomenal in their care for our daughter and have created a fun, imaginative and stimulating environment for all the children in their care to learn, gain confidence in their own abilities and to develop socially. The nursery is constantly hosting special activities for the children like Lab Tots, Super Sports and Yoga that our daughter enthusiastically tells us about. The facilities at the nursery really are second-to-none (how many other nurseries have an indoor climbing wall and a proscenium arch stage?). We are leaving Hitchin in the next couple of months so will be very sad to leave this incredibly happy place behind but I know that our daughter will look back on her time here with enormous fondness.

Hitchin House has been everything we could have hoped for and more in a nursery for our 2 children. Both my children have left/are leaving HH confident, capable, sociable and ready for school. It's a really nurturing environment with amazing staff who care deeply about the children. The daily menu always sounds delicious and nutritious, I still don't know why my child will eat everything there and but reject anything green at home! Staff turnover is really low, we've known most of the staff for the whole time we've been parents there. They have also been amazing at working with a human resource consultant company. I've saved a lot of money through this scheme and the nursery benefits from extra funding for resources too. Definitely worth asking your employer about it, it doesn't cost them and it's win-win for parents and the nursery. Thank you for everything over the last 5.5 years! We're going to miss the staff, lovely environment, and getting to meet other parents who've become life long friends

TOP NURSERY IN HITCHIN! Everything about Hitchin House is exceptional, from the facilities staff, level of care and attention to detail over your child's development. From day one, they reassured us that our child was being well looked after and made a real effort to ensure our child settled in smoothly. They send you pictures throughout the day via the app so you can see what your child get's up to while you're at work. They also do a great job at building a community amongst the parents and put on a number of social events and enablement sessions for you throughout the year. Highly recommend Hitchin House you won't be disappointed.

This nursery is a brilliant nursery and has everything my daughter needs, she enjoys nursery a lot and she is very fond of the staff. There are lots of different things for the children to do and my daughter learns something new all the time, she has progressed so much since starting nursery and has made friends. I have no doubt my daughter will continue to grow in the years to come with the nursery and make many more friends. I am so glad she has been able to be part of this nursery.

I can't praise Hitchin House and all of the staff enough. The facilities are outstanding, as is the level of care and attention that the staff provide. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about the children and their development. My daughter has been attending for almost 2 years and has not once been hesitant to go inside in the morning. She always comes out beaming, excited to tell me what she's been up to that day (currently she's obsessed with the climbing wall) . They really do go the extra mile, from dancing, yoga, Montessori activities and currently watching their classroom caterpillars turn into a butterflies, it's always a joy hearing what they're doing to ensure the children are engaged and learning new things/life skills. The food provided is also very high quality with such a diverse menu. They keep parents well informed with photos and updates. Thank you Hitchin House for making sending my daughter to nursery an actual joy! I'll always be grateful.

We're so happy with the care and attention our daughter receives at Hitchin House. Every single staff member seems to genuinely care about her, which makes having to say goodbye to her every morning a lot easier. She absolutely loves going to nursery and seems to have the best time. It's a really special place and we couldn't be happier with the nursery. We'd highly recommend Hitchin House!

Outstanding nursery, staff, level of care and facilities. My daughter loves going to nursery here. Can't fault the nursery. Only one very minor comment is that drop off/pick up times could be quicker.

The most amazing staff! The whole nursery has been adapted to the needs of our son, both the staff and ensuring the best equipment for learning and playing! There is nothing I could fault them on other than the fact that I wish the age to stay was higher so that he could be there throughout his whole childhood.

Couldn't recommend this nursery enough. From the moment we stepped into the nursery to have a look, we knew instantly that it was the right place for our child - a safe, homely and trusted place for children. The team really helped support our child's settling-in period and now he's thriving. The nursery is great with communication, letting us know well in advance of any issues in the local area, events that are running in the nursery and our child's personal development. There are too many people to thank, but as a whole, thank you for your hard work and support with our child's learning and development - you are great!

Hitchin House is an incredible nursery and we couldn't be happier that our daughter is going here. All of the staff are lovely and so accommodating to your child's individual needs. They are open to suggestions and alternatives to ensure your child is being looked after in a way that suits you and your bubba. The staff and their ability to flex is what really makes them stand out from all other nurseries - they are at the top of their game. Our daughter has developed so much over the last 4 months, she's come out of her shell and built so much confidence and it's so wonderful to see at home. Knowing that she's being well looked after gives us such peace of mind and we're so grateful to the team here at Hitchin House - thank you. Special shoutouts to her key worker managing all of her needs and another lady, who is her little bestie, consistently taking the time to bring her out of her comfort zone! Hitchin House has been fantastic for our son. The staff are warm and caring and take the time to tell us what our son has been getting up to. The range of activities provided is wonderful - he is always learning new things and is stimulated and cared for.

Hitchin House is a wonderful nursery, the staff take great care of all the children. We have two children at Hitchin House and they both love it. Staff go above and beyond to meet the children's needs, are friendly and approachable. The facilities and equipment are in excellent condition and constantly updated.

Our son joined Hitchin House almost a year ago after we moved into the area and the whole team were so helpful and made us all feel very welcome from the outset. Our son settled into the Pioneers room very quickly and loved all different aspects of the room, especially the climbing wall, the garden, the Montessori area and the library. Every teacher and staff member we met was kind, helpful and very committed to the children receiving the utmost care. Our son recently started school and we believe his smooth transition into school was definitely helped by the preparation and support we were all offered to Hitchin House. We would highly recommend this nursery and look forward to sending our second child there shortly.

This nursery has been incredible for my child. The amount of activities they offer throughout the day is incredible. From Montessori to yoga and dance and the fact they have a studio within the nursery. I wish I could go to nursery to have so much fun. The workshop space is lovely and the fact the children are encouraged to do self-serving is also something very important t to me. A skill for life. The staff are always incredibly friendly and know the children.

We have had such a wonderful experience at this nursery, not just with our youngest who is currently at Hitchin House, but also with our first son, who also had a fantastic time there from the baby room all the way through to pre-school. From the moment we accepted our space, the staff have welcomed us all as a family, making us feel valued and listened to. Our little boy has food allergies, and the management team went above and beyond to support us, ensuring his needs were fully understood and accommodated. They've been so approachable and friendly, making everything worry-free. The care and attention given by the entire team is amazing, and it's clear they genuinely care about the children and families. We couldn't be happier having our kids at Hitchin House.

As soon as you visit Hitchin House you know it is something special. The facilities are like nothing I've ever seen before despite working in education for 15 years, from the workshop, climbing wall, dance studio, library and garden amongst others it has been so well thought out to be an engaging place for children. There are so many extra activities they provide as part of their daily fee including yoga, dance and sports. It's been inspiring watching my kids develop through their time at Hitchin House teaching them great independence and life skills. The staff are absolutely amazing. They are so positive and you can see they have a real fondness for the children. They give you daily photo updates of what they've been doing which really brighten up your day. I've seen both my children flourish under their care and can't rate the staff highly enough.

My daughter attended Hitchin House from the age of 1 until she started school. She is a happy confident little girl, who has had what feels like a head start in life after her experience at Hitchin House. The staff are fantastic at providing creative activities and caring for the children. The facilities are outstanding and my daughter really enjoyed the workshop, dance classes, yoga, sports, and the climbing wall! I would wholeheartedly recommend the nursery to anyone looking for outstanding care for their child.

Our twin daughters have been at Hitchin House as the first babies when the nursery opened. Sadly they are leaving to start school in September. Our experience of this nursery has been outstanding. The care, love and support is out of this world. My girls run into the nursery and absolutely love being here and will sadly miss everyone and everything this nursery offers. The resources, activities, sports, dance library, construction area, home corner, and workshop to name a few have kept my girls really engaged and they are thriving due to the environment. The staff are all just wonderful loving individuals who have not only cared for our girls they have guided us. Nothing is too much trouble and they have always been available to chat anything through and support us immensely as parents. I couldn't recommend this fabulous nursery enough to any parents.

The best nursery! We are delighted with Hitchin House Day Nursery and don't think we could have found a better place for our son who has loved it since the start. Max joined when he was 11 months old, and is now 31 months old and still loving it. We already have our next one on the waiting list for when they arrive! Huge thanks to the amazing staff and team for going above and beyond, we have never had any concerns and it's lovely to see how excited he is running in in the morning and then telling us about his day. Highly recommended and very grateful we found such a wonderful nursery thank you.

Hitchin House has been a safe haven for us as a family over the past three years. Our son was born bang in the middle of covid, and they made him feel comfortable in what can be an intimidating environment. It was an absolute joy seeing him grow and develop during his time there. He created some incredibly special bonds with key workers and peers along the way. We were always blown away by the facilities and endless activities that were churned out every single day. School has some big shoes to fill. We feel very lucky that we can enjoy it all again now with our daughter now there, who goes in and out with the biggest smile on her face everyday!

Hitchin House is a wonderful nursery, the staff take great care of all the children. We have two children at Hitchin House and they both love it.
