I couldn't be happier with my baby being in this nursery in the baby room. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive and super caring with my child. This give me a peace of mind knowing my child is safe in this setting. The room is always clean, calm and there always activities that support my child
development. The communication is outstanding, and it's clear how much love and care goes into everything that they do. My baby is happy, settled and I believe is thriving. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

What really makes the difference at Banana Moon- Caversham is the teachers.
My daughter has recently started nursery and wasn't settled at first, but after just two months she is now very happy and excited to go every day. The teachers have been incredibly patient, caring, and supportive.
My
son has been attending the nursery for the past three years, and his teachers have been amazing in helping with his potty training and encouraging a love of books. His vocabulary has developed so much thanks to the education and care he receives.
I'd also like to mention the cooks, who prepare fresh and varied meals every day, which is a big plus.
The extra activities, such as day trips and events like the Christmas get-together for parents and children, add real value and create a lovely community feel.
I would highly recommend this nursery to any parents looking for excellent care and a great learning environment for their children.

Banana Moon Caversham has been absolutely amazing for our family! Our eldest son attended until he left for school, and we couldn't have been happier with the care, support, and love he received throughout his time there. Now our little one is at Banana Moon, and it feels so special to see him
enjoying the same wonderful experience!
The staff are warm, patient, and genuinely dedicated to each child's happiness and development. The nursery is always full of smiles, creativity, and fun learning activities. It's clear how much thought and effort goes into every day.

I have had two children at Banana Moon Day Nursery Caversham.
My son, who is now at school, attended from 2021 to 2024 and flourished under their care. He is a confident, happy little boy who still talks about his trip to the recycling centre, seeing the baby chicks hatch and caring for his class
pet, Crush the tortoise. He loved his time there.
My daughter, who is 18 months and still attends, is a much more reserved, shy child. She struggles in new settings and being away from me. However, after a few weeks with a member of staff in baby moons, she had made a secure attachment and now runs into her room genuinely excited to be at nursery.
I have always felt care and safeguarding are a priority at the nursery. At my instruction, no photos of my children have ever been shared online or in marketing and we are given regular reminders to maintain security in the building. Accidents are well documented and illnesses are dealt with swiftly.

All the staff at Banana Moon Day Nursery are incredibly helpful and clearly care about our daughter, who started this month. They all seem to understand her as an individual and the daily diary of her day is helpful for seeing how she has got on. They provide good quality food, three meals a day and
snacks. Our daughter always comes home happy and exhausted! We know she is well looked after and that is all we can ask for as parents.

The staff and management were excellent in listening to my child's special needs on diet. Even had a discussion arranged with the head chef and they had a food plan drafted for my child. Very pleased and happy with the nursery.

We've had both our children on at Banana Moon Day Nursery since they were a year old and I've nothing but good things to say. They love it, the staff are really friendly and keep us informed of what's going on. Would recommend to anyone.

Banana Moon has been absolutely incredible with our child since the very first settle. The staff is phenomenal and attentive, the facilities are clean and inviting, and they’ve done a wonderful job of caring for our boy. We couldn’t be happier with them and can’t recommend them strongly enough.

It is a great nursery. I found it very expensive though, similar to all childcare for small children in Caversham. However, as for the nursery, we are very happy. The groups are not too big, care and staff are very good, the garden is bigger than it looks from the outside. My daughter loves going to
Banana Moon and has both development and fun!

Great nursery with lovely, friendly staff. I’ve got two children there and so have had experience of all the rooms. It’s got a really lovely community feel to it.
The activities the children do are varied, and they play in the garden daily (weather permitting). The garden isn’t huge but does have
good equipment, and the kids like it. No complaints.

Banana Moon in Caversham is a fabulous nursery where my son, after a difficult settling-in period at 18 months old, has flourished. The nursery is wonderfully managed and the management team always provides support and guidance when needed. The manager and key worker of my son have been keen to help
my son with his S and L delay by seeking external guidance and putting new practices into place. I would highly recommend Banana Moon in Caversham to anyone seeking a nursery. I know my son will miss nursery when he leaves at the end of the year, as will I!

My son has been there since he was 10 months old. Couldn't be more happy. It is great that they have clubs coming to the nursery e.g dance and sports. The only thing that could make it better is to do more reviews often with the parents to discuss what we can do to help develop our little ones
learning. Or perhaps using the app to add it there. Also not to mention that every day you have a report from the day which some nurseries don't do.

Excellent nursery with a kind and caring team. We have had 2 of our children come through Banana Moon, with the first being taken care of during the start of the pandemic. They have both developed and thrived in the supportive environment and have greatly enjoyed the many experiences that the team
has put on over the years (eg baby chick hatching, Christmas markets, fire engine visits etc).

My son started at Banana Moon Caversham in November 2023 just after his second birthday. He had only been with me or my husband and I was worried he would not settle in a new environment with new people. I needn’t have worried.
Of course there was the initial settling in period of tears and holding
on to me like a koala bear! But the kindness and warmth that all staff showed me and my son was amazing. Within a couple of weeks, he was marching in by himself, not even saying goodbye to me, ready for a fun morning playing with new friends and taking part in exciting activities. I cannot stress enough how the wonderful team has helped make the transition so much easier than I thought possible. Even after the Christmas break, he was very happy to be back.
The nursery has a warm, homely vibe and lots of space for the children to play and explore without being on top of each other. I would fully recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a home from home for their child.

Our experience with the staff at Banana Moon has been wonderful. I was nervous about entrusting my baby son to a nursery from such a young age but he loves it there and is so well cared for. He's excited to be dropped off every day and always leaves in a great mood. The staff are superb at providing
daily updates through the app and at pick-up. I feel like I always have a sense of what he's up to, how he's feeling, how much he's slept, and what he's eaten. The nursery has a small, intimate feel that has allowed us to feel personally connected to my son's carers. Thank you to the manager and staff!

I have been extremely pleased with the nursery where my 3.5-year-old daughter has been attending for the past year. The staff are caring, attentive, and dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children. She was previously in a different nursery, she had a massive problem and
would not interact with other children. At Banana Moon, the staff focused on social development. My daughter has not only learned valuable skills but has also made friends and built her confidence during her time there. I am grateful for the wonderful care and education she receives at this nursery, and I highly recommend it to other parents.
