View Full Details of Fennies Epsom, Hook RoadOur son has been with Fennies for just over a year since he was 1. The staff are so caring and create such fun for the children. We can leave our son with confidence knowing he is in a safe space. We are so grateful to all the staff for everything they do. We wouldn't want him anywhere else. They are all very special and we will be forever grateful for their care. Thank you
We had a great experience with Fennies Epsom so far, and we can see our son growing confidently at the nursery. It was important for us to choose the right nursery as he joined at around 12 months, and from the initial conversations while searching for a place, the professionalism from Fennies Epsom helped us making that decision. Onboarding a 1 year old baby is no easy task, and they have made it much easier for our son to adapt to his new setting and made adjustments where necessary. All the staff are caring and knowledgeble - they make it such that a great relationship is built between the child and any of the staff, not just his key person. That has now enabled a very smooth move to his new toddler room. We are so happy we made the right choice - our little boy now has friends, and we can see him happily growing not just physically, but socially as well. Thanks Fennies Epsom!
Fennies Epsom is a fantastic nursery that has really worked with us to bring out the best in our children. They have a high attention to detail when it comes to designing activities for the children to comply with EYFS curriculum in order to ensure the children have fun but also learn and develop at the same time. They make learning fun and create an environment where our children really enjoy being in nursery and thrive in making friends, becoming more social, becoming confident and happy, and open to learning. The staff are brilliant, they always keep us informed, always have time for conversations and support, and the management is very open, accessible, and supportive of doing the best thing for our children. An excellent nursery providing outstanding care, education and opportunities for young children.
Our daughter has been at Fennies Epsom since she was 6 months old and is now nearly 4. She has had an amazing experience and I always talk highly of the nursery and all the staff. She is currently in preschool and I am amazed at the number of activities set up each day and the communication with us through the app on what they have been doing is brilliant. In addition, the staff are so caring and I trust them implicitly with my daughter meaning I can go about my day knowing she is having a great time and I don't need to worry. Our second child is due to start there soon and I am excited for him to have the experience there. I would highly recommend Fennies to anyone in the local area.
The nursery have been unbelievable. My Son has been diagnosed with ASD and so the thought of him starting nursery was very overwhelming due to he's high needs. The nursery have supported not only my Son but us as a family prior to the diagnosis and throughout the diagnosis process, constantly adapting, changing and supporting and fighting for my Son and he's needs. He has made more progress than I ever thought was possible and actually asks to go the nursery everyday. It's a safe, kind and caring environment where the staff are extremely dedicated and hard working. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Fennies nursery and the staff and will be sad when he has to move on to school.
Fennies has provided an extremely professional, kind and personal experience for my little boy on starting nursery. I was extremely anxious about my baby starting nursery after he had a difficult time with colic and reflux since birth which hasn't yet resolved. Due to this, he had never been cared for by anyone else and this made nursery settling a very daunting experience. We had trialled another nursery which turned out to be unsuccessful and quite upsetting and I was concerned my little boy would not be able to settle in a nursery environment Fennies team were incredibly accomodating and thorough in getting to know my baby's needs and kept me updated throughout. My baby settled so much better and I felt consistently reassured with the professionalism and care shown to my baby. I am extremely thankful
Both my grandsons have attended Fennies. The staff are caring, fun and always there to chat too. The nursery staff are so lovely and always have time to chat and answer any questions I have. I love that Fennies is a fun place for my grandsons to explore and grow. Very happy with the care.
Our son is so happy here - we love that he loves it!
It's one of the biggest joys to see my son run into the room every morning because he loves his key person and all the other nursery teachers. They take such good care of him and his individual needs, I can honestly say I am happy to leave him in such capable hands, 5 days a week. He is learning so much every day and creating wonderful friendships.
My daughter has been in the baby room for 7 months now, and I can honestly say it's been wonderful for both her development and confidence. The staff have been so patient, caring and creative. She has been challenged and supported throughout this big adjustment, overcoming some initial challenges on both sleep and food to become a happy, adjusted and good eater and sleeper. She has made friends in both staff and kids who she talks about at the weekend and clearly loves her time there, which is such a comfort as a first-time parent.
Terrible nursery. Regret ever sending our daughter here. We had a issue where our daughter fell over in Fennies garden. Picking her up, our daughter was visibly injured, holding her ear, mark on her cheek. Fennies has an odd policy where they won't log an accident unless they see it. Our daughter told us that she fell over, and we told this to Fennies. They refused to check the CCTV and just said they didn't see anything. This wouldn't have been an issue necessarily, children do have accidents, but the next day they text us saying our daughter had a bruise which wasn't there the day before. We told them this is more than likely to do with accident the day before which we thought obvious. Despite this, Fennies then called Social Services to report suspicious bruising but oddly decided to not mention the accident to SS. This led to a huge investigation by SS and a trauma to our family, which they never apologised for. The nursery was reported to OFSTED. We removed our child from here.
Our experience at Fennies was a nightmare. The nursery is cramped, and staff are poorly trained in safeguarding. Management is unprofessional and focused on protecting Fennies rather than the children. Fennies called to say our daughter was injured at nursery but staff claimed no accident occurred as they "didn't witness it". A bruise came out the following day. Despite video evidence of our child saying she had fallen in the garden, they reported us to Social Services for "suspicious bruising". They didn't mention the injury from the day before to them which led to a huge investigation and complaint. After investigation, a staff member was removed, but Fennies denied any wrongdoing and mishandled our personal data. We pulled our daughter out and found a better nursery where she's happier and healthier (a lot less illness). We urge other parents to avoid Fennies, as the experience caused significant trauma to our family. Don't make the same mistake we did. Read other similar reviews!
I have been so happy with Fennies as the new nursery for my Daughter. The staff at Epsom have been so fantastic in helping her settle in quickly, providing me and my wife regular updates to help up feel more comfortable and being so friendly every day. The Nursery Practitioner has been a brilliant key worker and provides us with lovely end of day overviews and my daughter goes happily to her and Dee in the nursery every day, and has so much fun. I feel comfortable that she is happy and safe everyday.
Fennies Epsom has been an incredible place for our daughter, and we couldn't be happier with the care and support she receives. From day one, when she was just 5 months old, she has absolutely loved going to nursery and has built such strong relationships with the amazing team. Her main carer, is truly fantastic - caring, attentive and always going the extra mile to make her feel safe and nurtured. The entire staff is wonderful, creating a warm and engaging environment where children thrive. We've seen remarkable progress in her development, hitting key milestones with confidence, and it's clear how much effort the team puts into fostering growth and independence. She comes home every day happy and exhausted from all the fun and learning! Knowing she is in such loving and capable hands gives us complete peace of mind. We are so grateful to Fennies Epsom for providing such a nurturing and enriching experience. Thank you for everything you do!
One of my children used to attend this nursery, and my other child is currently there - and I couldn't be happier with the experience both have had. They've developed so well, learning new things every day and growing in confidence. It's clear that the staff genuinely care, and the environment is both nurturing and fun. The management team is excellent - always approachable and supportive, making sure everything runs smoothly. It's so reassuring to know my child is in such good hands. Overall, it's a brilliant nursery, and I'd highly recommend it to any parent looking for a safe and caring place for their little one!
Our experience at Fennies Epsom has been really positive so far - our child has been there for over a year now, starting out in the baby room. All staff have been super attentive regardless of which room they work in and the communication has always been great. They're quick to reassure us and make sure we know that our child is happy if drop off has been a bit wobbly, which happens rarely as they love it there. It can get quite busy during certain pick up times with regards to parking and although what they have in the outside space is amazing, the space itself is on the small side. There are a lot children here with some days being busier than others, but we've never felt that this has impacted the care they give. We're very happy overall
Both of my girls have been attending Fennies Epsom for over two years, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. They absolutely love going to nursery and have formed such strong bonds with the incredible teachers. The care, support, and attention to their personal development have been outstanding - it's amazing to see how much they've grown. The entire team at Fennies goes above and beyond, creating a warm, nurturing environment where the girls truly thrive. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Fennies - you are simply the best!
Fennies Epsom is a great nursery for my son who has been attending for nearly 2 years. He has thrived at this nursery and is learning new things each day.
Our two girls have been at Fennies Epsom since 2020. Both girls have thrived there thanks to the amazing staff and team. Always willing to go above and beyond! The girls love garden time, pilates, trips out, water play and playing with lots of friends. The staff have been great, especially with potty training and getting my oldest ready for school
We had one of the worst experiences a parent could have. We took my children out of this nursery after 3 months. The managers have an insufficient understanding about bruising in a toddler and a great inability to present a logical argument based on factual information. We were wrongly reported to Social Services on suspicion of abuse to our 17-month-old. This is because we could not explain (or had not seen) a bruise. They couldn’t explain it either and denied the possibility of occurring under their care, which is just a very dishonest standing. A medical examination was conducted over the period of 6 hours at A&E. This experience from the beginning to end caused a considerable amount of distress to our family. These events offered the perfect opportunity to review their processes. Eg. instead of pressing the high alarm bottom when a bruise is unexplained, record safeguarding concerns like they do in schools with CPOMs programs. There are better Early Years professionals elsewhere.
