View Full Details of Pitter Patter Day Nursery LtdFantastic nursery! The staff at Pitter Patter are amazing, always doing great activities with the children to help develop new skills and help their development. The activities are fun and engaging and have preparred my son well for school with a lot of activities focussed on mathematical skills and literacy and writing. The staff really have a great relationship with the children, my son absolutely loves them all. The facilities in the nursery are perfect, my son always talks about how he's been out in the garden or in the undercover play area playing so he has plenty of fresh air regardless of the weather. The staff also take the children out in the community to the park, shops and library. We get updates via the app regularly through the day, documenting what theyre eating and toileting, and then photos and a description of what activities they've done. My son has been in Pitter Patter for 2 years and we feel extremely lucky to have him in such a fantastic local nursery.
July 2025: Supper supportive for first time/new parents. As a first time parent, whose partner has recently returned to the workplace. Pitter Patter have been so helpful in supporting the change in care for our 6 month old. Both the management and staff are always friendly, supportive and excellent communicators. It's honestly made the transition so much easier and taken a whole lot of stress and answered all our what if questions. We love getting daily updates showing how Pitter Patter are providing engaging environments. They're clear professionals and have been invaluable in helping us introduce new foods through weaning and sharing new the skills our child is learning.
I can't recommend Pitter Patter enough! Fantastic communication from staff, a commitment to making sure children experience fun and enriching activities each day. My son eats better than I do whilst there, the meals are fantastic.
Lovely nursery with a fabulous outdoor play area. We get daily update with photos from the nursery it's mBoth my kids go there and I couldn't be happier with the care they receive. Would highly recommend to other parents.
Incredibly pleased with the care provided to my little girl since starting last summer. I found it extremely difficult leaving her in the hands of strangers on my return to work. It took her a few months to settle in but it's put my mind at ease knowing she is well looked after. The staff work hard and my little girl always comes out so happy.
Generally an excellent nursery. Due to moving house, our son has been in two nursery settings over the last few years and Pitter Patter is by far the best of the two we've experienced. Our son always goes in excited and comes out happy, which says it all. The feedback, pictures and messaging via the app are particularly good. The only comment for improvement is increased flexibility over occasionally needing to change or increase days temporarily, although appreciate this can be challenging with staff rotas.
Pitter Patter overall is a good nursery, both of my children have attended/attend. Good activities, carers are kind, good food choices. Only downside is that if you're late/underpaid payment (even by a day/£1.29) you get a warning of a fine - could be a reminder email.
My little boy attends this nursery and it’s fantastic. He’s been there for over a year now and I feel so comfortable knowing he’s in good hands. I love the photo updates and seeing the activities they do through the day. The nursery will accommodate extra days for us if they can which is very helpful. Overall the girls are fabulous with my little one even when he’s not in the best of moods. I’ve had no regrets in picking this nursery.
My daughter has been attending Pitter Patter for 15 months and I can honestly say it is the best decision I have made. The staff and management are brilliant and the care shown towards my daughter is the best I could ask for. She has come on leaps and bounds and is thriving which is mainly down to the staff at Pitter Patter. They always respond to questions or concerns if raised, promptly. The staff know parents by first names and are always friendly. The extra activities throughout the year put on by the nursery are fab, for example summer party, Xmas party which involves all the children. The facilities at the nursery are great and the activities on a daily basis are fun and varied. You are kept up to date on an app where you can track your child’s day and also see photos of them from throughout the day. I can’t praise them enough and for the support, care and guidance they have given to my daughter.
My 4-year-old daughter and my 2-year-old son attend Pitter Patter, with my daughter being picked up from school nursery. I was nervous at first, but then I did my first visit with the deputy manager. She put our mind at ease with her bubbly personality and I instantly felt comfortable. I get regular updates for both children, and I can message whenever I need to during the day to check up on them and the staff are happy enough to respond. Every interaction I have had, with a number of different workers from different rooms have all been positive and reassuring. I would honestly recommend Pitter Patter to anyone. My son’s speech has really come along and they both are so happy there. I feel that my children are safe and cared for, which is all I ask for. My daughter will be going to full-time school in September and I know she’ll miss the staff there when she doesn’t have to go anymore.
I would highly recommend Pitter Patter Nursery to any parent. As a first time parent I was initially nervous to leave my son and return back to work. All that changed since finding Pitter Patter Nursery which had been recommended by all of my neighbours. My son has been attending for 12 months and has excelled in development with his speech and social skills. The staff are all absolutely fantastic and my son throughly enjoys attending on his allocated days and lights up when he sees all the staff especially one member of staff in particular. The staff provide an excellent curriculum that is reported on each day through the app. The nursery also provide a wide range of healthy food options that change seasonally. My only regret is that I didn’t start him at Pitter Patter sooner.
My child has been going to Pitter Patter Day Nursery for a long time and has made lots of friends in doing so. The staff are very friendly and quick to reply to messages. My only worry (felt by a lot of parents even at my child's school) is the fee for when children are in morning school, the fee is for a full day even though 3.5 hours of that day are in school, might be worth looking at flexibility as not all children will need to be in nursery from 11:30-5:45, some might only need to be in for 3.5-4.5 hours which is same as if in for am slot or pm slot only.
Honestly, my son going here was the best decision, he absolutely loves going there. The staff are amazing and keep you informed on everything they do. They do fab activities which are fun and educational, every photo I see my son is all smiles, I just love them there and will be quite sad when my son goes to full time but thankfully they do after school club so he will still get to see everyone, excellent care provided I couldn’t be happier, my son even eats better food since attending.
I can't recommend Pitter Patter enough. From helping our little boy settling in, to referring him onward for help with his additional learning needs, we have been supported every step of the way. We are so grateful to the wonderful staff who update the app regularly and send pictures almost every day which is so great as a working parent.
My daughter has been going to Pitter Patter now for since January and she has come on leaps and bounds! She is coming home everyday telling us what she has learned and every day the nursery is going new and cool projects and crafts with her. She also eats better there than she does at school and she loves the ladies working there. Best decision we made putting her in there.
I would absolutely recommend Pitter Patter Day Nursery! Our daughter joined in January 2023 and after about a week she was settled and loved the staff. She had 3 main ladies caring for her and we could see how much she loved them, every morning she would happily go to them with lots of smiles and giggles. They looked after her as if she was their own! We got regular updates through the app and we felt comfortable asking any questions we wanted. The whole experience was just great, we can’t fault it and the only reason we’ve moved her to a different nursery is the distance from our home. Otherwise, she would still be there.
My little boy goes to Pitter Patter Day Nursery Ltd and has been going since he was 8 months, they have really lovely, caring staff who really work hard and try to accommodate every child's needs. The owner, manager and staff have always been very understanding and accommodating with my son's needs. I always get sent lovely photos of my son in nursery doing different activities every day. Pitter Patter is very good with keeping the parents updated as they work through an app that tells you exactly what your child does/eats/drinks/sleeps through the day. It's very reassuring that you can give them a message for updates and they get back to you very quick! There are staff there that really go above and beyond and they deserve a medal for all their hard work and patience. Well done girls.
Some staff at Pitter Patter are absolutely outstanding, particularly two of them. My son constantly spoke about them and really enjoyed being with them. We have pulled my son out of Pitter Patter now after so many issues. Issues that are concerning, not sure if it is understaffed or overpopulated but when paying for my son's care I don't expect such a high level of negligence. From being left in his own faeces all day up his back, to coming home covered in scratches and marks. Very disappointing and concerning. There was one member of staff who was always very negative towards my son but not to others and not very nice. Other parents have mentioned the same to me in the queue and also at a birthday party. Management seem lovely but there's only so far an apology gets you.
We love Pitter Patter. My children both struggled with being left in the beginning but the staff were wonderfully supportive and caring. Now they both love it and it's evident from the way they talk about what they've done and the photos that I'm sent daily that they are having a great time. They're easy to communicate with and I love that the app is updated with what they've eaten and drunk. I couldn't recommend them more.
The team at Pitter Patter are outstanding. Our little boy has developed so much since joining this nursery. They are great with all the children and parents. The App is very informative and reassuring. Couldn't recommend them enough!
