My daughter is nothing but thriving at Woodlands Nursery.
We recently moved nurseries only due to location and there is such a big difference from her old one to this one.
She's happy when she gets dropped off to the moment I pick her up.
Is definitely well looked after and kept safe.

It was my son's first week and he adapted very well, which surprised me. It was my son's first week and he adapted very well, which surprised me. His teacher pays special attention to him, and that comforts me because every mother wants her child to feel loved and cared for.

My Son was moved from a different day nursery temporarily (due to staff numbers) to Woodlands nursery as were a few of the preschoolers from the same nursery and woodlands nursery were really good at sorting all the moving over arrangements, they made my son feel welcome and comfortable straight
away, he was always happy to go to nursery. All the staff at woodlands have been lovely and very helpful. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter loved her time at Woodlands Day Nursery. She was very well cared for and her needs were always met. As she got older and became school ready she was encouraged to learn to start writing letters and was given a writing book of her own to do activities in. The outdoor space was also a
favourite and at any opportunity the children would play outside. She made lots of friends and has very fond memories of her 3 years at Woodlands.

Woodlands day nursery is a wonderful nursery. My SEN daughter attended woodlands for over 4 years. Over those years, her needs drastically increased and the team at woodlands supported her and us every step of the way.
They've done everything they can to help my daughter progress.
Woodlands

My child has just graduated from nursery today. After starting at just about 1 and now about to turn 5. Nearly 4 years in baby rooms. Tweenies rooms and preschool rooms.
The staff have changed over this time. Managers have come and gone and staff members have evolved. Throughout this time my
little boy has been cared for with the utmost quality and dedication. He has grown into a chatty confident little boy and this is no doubt partly due to Woodlands Nursery.

We have 2 children in the nursery, one in the baby room and one in pre school.
Our eldest has thrived in preschool since we moved to the area a year ago. We are so delighted in how she has come on and in particular we have been delighted with one member of staff has made to the room since taking
over a few months ago. She is absolutely fantastic, we could speak more highly of her.
Our youngest has only been in the baby room a couple of months but has settled in so well and is developing really well and all the staff are so warm with him.
We love this nursery!

Great set of staff and setting, both our children have loved it and even during testing situations with staff absences the team have kept a high level of communication and have always achieved a high level of care. A big thanks to one staff member for always being there and always excellent.

Incredibly impressed with our experience of Woodlands Day Nursery, particularly the team and their enthusiasm and care. The nursery has improved a lot over the last 12 months. I'm always kept up to date with what's happening and a run down at the end of each day, they are always doing lots of
activities and a mix of indoor and outdoor play. All of the staff are very personable and supportive.

Our daughter has been coming to Woodlands since she turned 1 and loves it! The staff are such a warm and caring team and the Manager has pulled out all the stops since becoming the Manager last summer. There are plenty of activities to keep the kids engaged and the food is varied and tasty (judging
by the fact she always has double portions!). The classroom setting of the preschool should hopefully help with the transition into reception when the time comes.

I can highly recommend Woodlands Day Nursery. The staff are friendly, attentive and caring. They know every child so well and plan fun and interesting activities for them to enjoy. My son joined the baby room at 12 months and has settled in brilliantly. He loves Woodlands and has developed in so
many ways since starting. I am so grateful to the staff for all of their kindness and support. They really do go the extra mile.

My boy has been going here since he turned two, and the change we have seen in him honestly makes us so proud.
His teachers are unbelievably kind and thoughtful and have gone the extra mile every time to help with his needs. We will be sad to leave!

This is my first child and nursery was such a daunting thought, but I should not have worried. All the staff at the nursery are just lovely and amazing! When we went to look around we were greeted with smiles and everyone was so interested in our little one! The first impression was great! And they
have not let me down one bit! Our little one loves going to nursery - he has the best time there and he is always so happy when he comes home! His development has flourished since he started and his language skills are also coming on great! They always have fun activities for the little ones - and make something special of marked occasions like Bonfire night, Easter, Christmas and Valentine’s Day! All the staff are very caring and friendly. Our little boy got poorly a few months after starting and I got a prompt call to come assess, we ended up in hospital for a few days after this and I was so impressed with how they handled it all and feel I can fully trust them to care for my little one!

My son has attended Woodlands since 2021 and I have had a very positive experience. The staff are lovely, they genuinely care about the well-being and development of the children. The care my son has received is impeccable. The manager has been incredibly accommodating with changing days/patterns
and nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff work so hard to provide fun, educational and creative activities and always make a fuss on special occasions such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter. They also have sign language and Spanish sessions which my little boy loves! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication, you really go the extra mile. Keep up the good work!

We started coming to Woodlands Day Nursery and Pre-school Harrogate about 3 years ago when our son was in the babies room and most of the staff, in particular the current manager have always been wonderful! There have been many changes and of course covid was a difficult time for all but the new
nursery manager has stepped up and really turned things around, making some brilliant improvements! Our son is really happy there and has come on so much learning all sorts, he's even doing Spanish and sing and sign now! The new additions to the staff team are so friendly, welcoming and helpful and it's such a relief to know our son is somewhere safe and being well looked after!

An incredible nursery that cares very much about each and every child. Since new management last year, the nursery has come on leaps and bounds. Very, very fond of such an open yet structured learning style designed for each child. My child’s confidence and ability have come on leaps and I put that

I adore Woodlands and the lovely staff. From the management all the way through, I've found Woodlands a very welcoming experience for us and our child. Upon the first visit, I was completely won over by the staff's delightful demeanour and this has been completely representative of the whole care
over the last six months. The manager really cared and made me feel so at ease for the first settling in session which was so important and I've felt confident with them from the start. Especially because he started at 6-months-old so I did have my own concerns with him being so young. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and he leans over to go to them in the morning, then I'm greeted by a smiley, happy boy every time I pick him up. If he has a tricky day, they're there for cuddles to reassure him and I know he's safe, certainly well-fed (probably eating them out of house and home!), bonding with them all and learning so much. Love it!
