Both my son and daughter have attended the nursery and I have been happy with the level of care provided, the staff that really care about the children. My daughter is due to leave soon and I will be sad when she does. Whilst she has been there the outdoor space has recently been upgraded and is really good for all the children to use. They are regularly outside and all seem to love this space. I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

Since my granddaughter started stepping stones she has thrived. She has learnt so much over the last few months and she obviously enjoys all the activities as she has a big smile on her face on all the photos i see on the closed Facebook page. It is an excellent setting and all the staff in baby room,pre -toddlers and the management team are first class.

Where has the time gone!! My little girl soon starts big school. I honestly can not thank the team at Rothwell enough for all they have done. My child has come on leaps and bounds since she started back in July 2021 and just 8 months old. It's great to see her develop in all learning aspects and my child clearly enjoys it at nursery, she is always telling us of what she has been up to and what she had been doing with her friends. My child confidence has grown so much and I feel the team have made her ready to tackle big school. I know when she leaves she will miss all the team and her friends, but hopefully some of them move to the same school. Thank you stepping stone for helping turn my little baby into a very young girl. Thank you

We're so happy with Stepping Stones Nursery! He has settled in incredibly well, especially after a difficult experience with a previous childminder where he just didn't settle. The staff are warm, welcoming and clearly care about the children. He has access to a wide range of fun, stimulating activities and comes home smiling every day. One thing we really love is that there are no TVs - everything is hands-on and encourages real play and learning. The food is also fantastic - fresh, healthy and always a hit with him. We couldn't be more pleased!

Stepping Stone Day Nursery Rothwell is an excellent nursery. My little girl started here in September 2024, she has since learnt and grown so much in just 6 months. I feel they provide the right balance between fun and education. My little girl loves engaging in creative activities and the outdoor facility area. My partner and I, appreciate how comfortable the staff has made our little girl from the very beginning. They are very helpful, caring and professional. Their regular updates are most helpful. The positive impact on our little girl has been impressive, and as a family, we couldn't be more happier. If you're a parent looking for a supportive, safe and warm welcoming environment for your little one, we definitely recommend the Stepping Stone Rothwell.

My little boy has recently started at Stepping Stones in the baby room. Throughout the process of settling in and his first sessions we have felt very supported by the staff, no question is too small for them. They have taken the time to get to know my son and although he hasn't been there long he enjoys nursery and has fun. I'm looking forward to seeing him grow and learn more there!

My Son has only been with the setting for 3 weeks but WOW what a positive change we see in him and the nursery has played a huge part in that already. We left a recent setting as my son stuggle to settle after been there 9mths and the transition has been night and day. The staff are so kind, friendly and really do create a caring, safe space and acknowledge every childs needs, not just a one size fits all approach. Everyday is different for the kiddies with lots of outdoor play, crafts, exploring and plenty of art work sent home! Food has so many varieties. Commication was very important for us which we can not fault! Wish we had moved sooner! Thank you to all the team :)

My twin boys moved to this nursery over a year ago. They were developmentally delayed and struggled to communicate verbally. Within months of starting at stepping stones they were able to speak small words and have only come on leaps and bounds since then. They are no longer delayed and fit in with every other 3 year old in their group. All of this is thanks to the time, love and care that all of the staff have taken to ensure that they thrive. All of the staff have a love and passion for looking after each individual child and that really shows day to day. I can't thank them enough for how easy they've made it to leave my boys in their care.

My little girl has recently joined stepping stones and absolutely loves it! She comes home telling me about her friends and the staff and what they got up to during the day. The kids get up to different things each day relevant to what's going on (Pancake Day, Chinese new years, valentines day) which I thinks fab. I would definitely recommend stepping stones:)

My little boy started at this nursery on 10/02/2025 and they have been nothing but helpful! Nothing is ever too much for them and the care and dedication they have to helping my little boy settle in is fantastic. They are thorough, kind and the staff here are also impeccable to catering to children's needs. They have helped my son settle in really well as he is an emotional child but they know exactly what to do to make him feel like it is a home from home environment. I feel at ease knowing he is at a nursery that deliver such high standard of care towards children, i could not recommend Stepping Stones Nursery enough.

Our son has settled in extremely well at Stepping Stones Day Nursery Rothwell and I feel the staff are very attentive to both our son's and our needs as parents. Choosing a nursery is always troubling as you want to make sure you are making the correct choice, but after a few months here, my wife and I both agree he has come on leaps and bounds. The staff in the baby room always give me a debrief on pickup and always ask how he's been overnight on drop-off. We highly recommend Stepping Stones!

The nursery has helped my daughter come on leaps and bounds! Since being at the nursery, she has started crawling and clapping her hands, which just as a parent, makes me so proud. The staff could not be any more helpful towards my daughter and I am thankful.

Great team. Both girls have settled in really well at their own pace. My child has become a lot more confident in her speech and loves to tell me what she's been up to all day. Both girls seem to be making new friends and are always up to something exciting and engaging.

All the staff at Stepping Stones Day Nursery are very welcoming and my son has settled in fantastically. The days are full of activities inside and out, and photos are provided daily, which supports all learning methods used. He has come on leaps and bounds with activities and meeting each milestone. Information is provided daily of naps, meals and activities he has taken part in. Parents are provided with activities they can participate in and the children learn all about yearly celebrations such as Chinese New Year, which the children did cards and paintings to take home. Overall, the learning, playing and interaction with other children and staff is fantastic and I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

Stepping Stones Day Nursery - Rothwell always goes above and beyond, helping with learning in the most imaginative ways and fostering keen interests. All the staff are friendly and approachable and really know the children. I take great comfort in knowing how much they care for my child and the relationship they have with their key worker. The flexible booking pattern on offer is a massive help for us as a family too.

From the moment I was shown around the nursery I knew I wanted my little girl to attend. She was around 10 months old when she started and is now a thriving little toddler. The nursery has brought her on so much and she is so confident and bright. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. I know how hard they work and it means the world to me knowing my daughter is loved there and well looked after. Thank you to everyone at Stepping Stones Day Nursery, your hard work does not go unnoticed.

We've been using stepping stones since my eldest was 18 months old back in 2020. My youngest is still there and he's now 3.5 years and he's absolutely thriving. Both boys have loved this nursery and the loving staff. They are fantastic every day, with their structured activities, opportunities for free play and little outings from time to time too. The menus are excellent too and very healthy. We will be sad to leave this summer when our youngest starts school. Highly recommend.

I placed my son in this nursery when he was 2. The staff really helped him come out of his shell in a matter of weeks. He is now 5 and is thriving at school. I also placed my daughter here in September 2024 because I was so impressed with how my son came along so quickly. The staff are all so kind and welcoming, we are always greeted with a smile, my daughter looks forward to nursery every week and has come along leaps and bounds.

All the staff are so lovely and caring and so adaptable. Any questions I've had they've always been answered in a timely manner. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds with talking and understanding, especially since the pre-toddler room has been in use. He loves spending time outside in all weather, which we love that's an option.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff at stepping stones are absolute experts and I love hearing what she has been up to when I pick her up. I couldn't wish for a better nursery if I tried.
