The nursery is amazing, the staff are amazing, there isn't anyone who can't or won't do enough for you. My little girl has been going to this nursery since she was 5 months old and she's now 3 years old and has come on so much! I would definitely highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a nursery.

This is a wonderful nursery, staff are really friendly as soon as you walk in the door. My daughter loves coming here, her keyworkers are fantastic and supportive. My daughter took her first steps here. Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Children 1st Derby Road continues to be an excellent nursery with friendly, helpful staff, safe outdoor areas with lots to do, and varied activities. The nursery serves a wide range of healthy dishes to the children and they get the opportunity to learn how to feed themselves and learn table manners. This nursery has really accelerated my girls progress and they are happy and healthy!

My litte girl has been there for nearly 4 months and she has flourish! The staff in the baby room are amazing! They keep us up to date on what my little one is doing and always take the time to chat about her day. Which has been reassuring! Management are friendly and very approachable! The whole atmosphere of the nursery is welcoming and friendly! I would definitely recommend Derby Road to any parent looking for an amazing nursery.

All the staff are genuinely invested in our daughter's happiness and her life as a whole, not just when at nursery. She always comes home happy and keen to return. Her education whilst being at nursery has set her up so well for school.

I have 2 boys who attend Children 1st, they both started from the age of 12 months and we couldn't be happier with the care they receive whilst at nursery. Our eldest who will be 4 in August had a speech delay and the support given to him has helped so much that we are confident he will thrive at school even though he will be the youngest in his year. Every member of staff at this nursery is amazing, not just the staff in the rooms providing direct care but the cleaner, the cooks and everyone else! They all interact with the babies and children and clearly have so much genuine care and love for every child there. A good nursery is so important to for good development of children in those early years and I honestly feel we picked the best around. Thank you for looking after our boys so well xx

My little boy has settled really well into nursery and adores some of the staff. He always has a lovely day and enjoys his time at nursery. Thank you to everyone for helping my little one flourish and get prepared for school.

Children 1st @ Derby Road is an absolutely fantastic nursery! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm and professional team at the reception desk, setting the tone for the excellent care and service provided throughout. The nursery staff and management go above and beyond to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children. They are always professional, approachable, and genuinely care about the well-being and development of each child. Communication is excellent - we are regularly updated on everything happening throughout the week, and the team is incredibly flexible, always accommodating our needs. It's clear that the staff take pride in what they do, and their dedication shines through in every interaction. I highly recommend Children 1st to any parent looking for a nursery that truly puts children first.

Our 3 year old has recently joined and settled in very well thanks to the friendly staff, good systems/processes and communication. The staff are always helpful, caring, considerate and understanding. He loves the environment, food and mix of activities and always comes home with a smile on his face!

Home from home! Children 1st @ Derby Road nursery is outstanding! My daughter is happy, safe, developing, cared for and overall having fun! All the staff are absolutely brilliant, engaging with children and parents too - they genuinely care and also look like they're happy to be at work - not everyone can say that! When we were thinking about what nursery to send our daughter too, I wanted it to be clean and the outside space to be available to her whenever she wanted! The overall cleanliness of the nursery is brilliant (also not an easy task to keep on top of I'm sure!). Also they have designated outside spaces for each age range and it's perfect! I actually want to spend all day here! I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery and I know I have nothing to worry about, when I'm at work and my daughter is at nursery! I've recommended to a few of my friends and their little ones are going too.

My baby is well looked after, happy and fed. He has a lovely bond with the staff and I receive regular updates on his progress and activities. The staff are good.

All the staff are welcoming and helpful. My little one has come on leaps and bounds. Since starting at nursery, my little one has recently moved from Peter Rabbit to early years. All staff have said how well she has transferred. She has made new friends and has had no issues.

So far we have been really impressed with the nursery. Our little boy loves going and enjoys his time at Nursery. We are always welcomed with the warmest and friendliest faces and I can't fault the key workers that work alongside our little boy. He is thriving and very impressed with all that he does in the day.

Children 1st @ Derby Road is an amazing nursery. Our daughter has been going there for 6 months. She absolutely loves it. The nursery is so supportive and all the staff are great. They've helped her with potty training and getting her to eat new foods.

All of the staff here are amazing, I was worried that my child wouldn't settle in but she did straight away and she is even doing 5 days a week now as she loves it so much. The staff are so professional with parents as well as the children and so easy to speak to if you have any concerns. My child's development has come along so much since she has been attending this nursery.

This place is amazing. The staff are so loving with the kids and our little one enjoys going and already has friends at nursery. I also like that you get to speak to the staff team every day on pickup and they will let you know how little one was doing that day. Additionally we sometimes get pictures sent that the nursery took of him. They are mindful of his development and help with milestones.

My child happy, developing personally, settled and I have complete trust in the nursery that he's being looked after well each day. His nursery bag is always kept tidy and on a peg with his coat and he knows where to get this from. The outside facilities are fantastic and my son really enjoys the amount of time gets outside each day. Everyone at the nursery is friendly and greet you with a smile.

All the staff at Children 1st Derby Road are phenomenal and the nursery itself and facilities are brilliant. Our child absolutely loves going to nursery here. She has learnt so much in such a short amount of time and is definitely thriving. All the staff are very kind and friendly and really take the time to get to know the parents as well as the children. The facility is clean and well kept, the meals are varied and healthy as well as exciting and communication between the parents and staff is very good. I feel that the staff here all really care about their work and care about providing the best service possible for our child. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son really enjoys his time here! I find the ladies who look after him are very considerate and do a really good job. Everybody in the nursery seems very friendly and helpful. All the activities and food they give to my son really help him come along! I don't have any complaints.
