Outstanding care at Ashby day nursery. Our son has boundless energy, and the entire team provides the focused attention he thrives on, ensuring he feels special every day. The office manager is also a pleasure to work with, always available to seamlessly handle our funding and extra care
requirements. We couldn't recommend them more highly!

I could not recommend Ashby Nursery School enough to anyone looking for the best early years education for their child. From the moment of settling, staff have been so hands on and catered to all my child's needs. They are so friendly and welcoming, and nothing is ever too much for them. My child
has developed massively since coming to the nursery. She is always so happy to go in the mornings and loves being there. Management are amazing help, the office manager spoke to me through my funding, and the manager helped me with all my queries, responding fast and no issue was too much.

Amazing nursery/ pre school our son has thrived massively since starting full time last year. Massive support from the office team for helping us figure out funding for when I start maternity leave next year, they have helped massively with showing us the different information when it comes to
changing his days and funding.

Ashby pre school academy is amazing!! My son loves it there, he has developed so many friendships since starting in August and is always talking about school. The staff are amazing, they know him so well - it really does feel like they are part of the family. Nothing is ever too much trouble and
they always have time to discuss how he is developing. The management team are incredible, very helpful and were so reassuring when I was nervous about leaving my son. Parent partnership is just on another level! My son recently took part in singing for the Christmas lights switch on and has also taken part in a nativity play, it was the most joyous thing to watch and the whole family loved it! Would recommend the pre school to anyone looking for a setting for their child.

We recently moved to the area and our son started in the toddler room. Before we even arrived the nursery supported us with extra settling sessions due to a delay in moving and were flexible on when he'd actually start. They couldn't have done more to be welcoming and he flourished from the moment
he started.
He has transitioned into the preschool academy within a few months of moving and our experience has been nothing short of brilliant. All the staff are so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It is clear from the nursery management that they take training of their staff seriously and include them in how the curriculum is developed.
Another point to make is how well prepared they are for any dietary requirements. There is always something similar that he has so he doesn't feel left out.
My son chats about his friends from nursery and the staff even at the weekends. It's clear he loves his time there. One of the best decisions we made was moving to Ashby, and Ashby Day Nursery.

We couldn't be happier with the care and support our daughter has received at Ashby Day Nursery. From the very beginning, we were impressed by the number of settling-in sessions offered before she officially started. These sessions really helped her feel confident and comfortable.
The nursery
itself is always clean and tidy and the staff of the staff are welcoming, friendly and approachable and will go out of their way to help. They know our daughter so well and are genuinely invested in each child's wellbeing and development.
Communication is also outstanding - we receive regular updates and information that keep us well-informed of what's happening. We also recently attended an open evening for the preschool. It gave us all the information we needed and further reassured us that we have chosen an excellent place for our daughter. She is so happy here.
We're so grateful to have found such a supportive and high-quality setting for our daughter. Thank you to all staff.

Love this preschool! We moved our daughter to Ashby Day in May 2025, following a series of issues at the nursery we initially sent her to. The manager and the team couldn't have been more welcoming, and supported our daughter (and us) with her transition to preschool and have helped undo some of the
damage from nursery. It's a work in progress, and given the great communication we have with the manager and the whole team, as well as their focus on my daughter, I'm comfortable that my daughter's development and happiness is going in the right direction.

My child thoroughly loves his time at Ashby Preschool. He is able to explore, play and have fun with his friends in a great environment. He's developed so much and the staff engage with him in great ways.

Absolutely fantastic nursery cannot praise the staff enough. We moved to the area and my child began at the nursery the staff were so inclusive friendly and welcoming to not just my child but me and his sibling too, the provisions activities and care are second to none and there is nowhere else I'd

Our toddler has recently started at Ashby Day Nursery and my husband and I are over the moon with the amazing care from the staff! He has been so well looked after right from his first settling in session. He now says 'bye bye Mummy' so happily when I drop him off and his speech and communication
has come on massively since starting. There's a great variety of toys and activities available inside and outside. Communication from Nursery is incredible too with any reminders on the app and we really like having the opportunity to chat with staff before and after dropping him off. Staff are so friendly and approachable. We love seeing photographs too on the app, they really make us smile. Thank you to the managers and staff at this fantastic Nursery, we're so pleased our son has joined :-)

My son has been going to the nursery since January. Ever since his inductions all the staff have been very welcoming. I feel safe leaving him there knowing he'll be looked after and learning lots of new things. I really enjoy being sent photos throughout the day, also being kept upto date on what he
has eaten and various other activities. If he has been poorly they have notified me immediately.

Our 9-month-old loves it here! After her first taster session at 8 months old, she came home babbling happily and crawled for the first time. Since then her movement has come on amazingly, she can pull herself up to standing now. She has so much fun and is building great relationships. She's also
allergic to fish and the nursery has been great making sure that's monitored. The staff put you at ease and the security (facial recognition on the door) is great. The app is a bonus and the management is great at responding to messages. The only thing that would improve it is the outdoor space at the front, but that's such a minor thing that doesn't bother me.

My boy loves this place so much. We chose it based on reviews here. The nursery is gorgeous and there are so many activities inside and outside. The staff are all amazing and go above and beyond to support children and make their experience a happy one. I was concerned how they'd get our tricky
sleeper to nap but they do it well. If he needs 2 naps or 1 they do it. They're more than happy to take your lead, the staff provide updates via the app and lets us know how he's been. The app is great as you see throughout the day what's been eaten, the nap times are live and you get a picture of an activity your child's enjoyed. You can also send a message to the staff. The food is healthy and varied and the timings for meals are convenient. Even staff in other rooms bond and get to know them. The office staff and management are organised and professional, speedy responses, including invoices being accurate. You don't get this experience in all settings. We have zero regrets about sending him here!

Great early years educators. So friendly and brilliant with my daughter. They have really helped my daughter settle in and she enjoys it immensely. She also talks about a lot of the staff members at home in such a positive way and I truly that is a good sign that your child is in the right place to

I can’t praise Ashby Day Nursery & Preschool enough.
They go above and beyond for my son who has additional needs. The team are so friendly, welcoming and supportive. The knowledge the team have about supporting my son and ensuring he is happy is far beyond what they are required to know. The staff
are trained to a high level and ensure they follow best practice guidelines.
My eldest attended the nursery when he was younger - now 14 years old, and I am pleased to say they have retained many of the staff that cared for him. For a nursery to retain staff well, it demonstrates to me that it is a positive environment to work and learn in. The nursery has also added to its team with some wonderful individuals, ensuring that practice benefits from fresh ideas and experiences of new staff members. My youngest child is already signed up to start in the summer, as I want him to have the same happy experience as my other two. Honestly can’t praise the staff and management enough.

My experience with Ashby Nursery School & Preschool Academy stems across two of my children; a current child attending the preschool weekly and my eldest who went through the nursery from her early years.
Ashby Nursery is an incredible experience, not just for the children but for the parents too.
As a fairly busy father, Ashby gives me all the information needed to keep tabs on how my children have been during their sessions. Staff are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and best of all, develop strong, friendly relationships with all the kids. I've had the pleasure of dealing with the admin team and the wider Storal team on a number of occasions and each time they're quick to respond and answer any queries - special thanks to a member of staff, in particular, for all of her help with explaining and submitting funding for childcare.
Overall, as a parent with two children who have been through this nursery, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all the team.

Wonderful nursery. My daughter has been attending nursery since she was ten months old (now 17 months) and has built wonderful relationships with all staff and children in her rooms. She has come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery, and we recommend this setting to all our friends.
The
office manager and the management team always go above and beyond, and nothing is ever too much hassle.
