We could not be happier with our experience at Winterfold School and the start it has given our daughter in KG1.
From day one, the school has created a warm and nurturing environment where she has grown in confidence and independence. A special thank you to her teachers, who are consistent,
informative and highly organised. Their structured approach and clear communication give us real confidence and keep us fully involved in her progress.
The facilities are excellent and the range of opportunities, from classroom learning to outdoor and creative activities, is thoughtfully delivered. It is clear the school focuses on developing well rounded children both academically and socially.
We feel very fortunate to be part of Winterfold and are truly grateful to the whole team.

Staff are amazing, the setting is lovely, feels very welcoming, and my son has settled in so well due to the friendly nature of the teachers. The classroom is tidy and organised, and there are lots of activities for the kids, particularly forest school. The only downside is that the school lunches
for 2 year olds, burgers, and roast dinners aren't the healthiest and nutritional for children.

Winterfold has always been a place where our daughters love to be at. Our eldest who is 7 years old doesn't like having such long holidays as she loves going to school. At Christmas time, we were thoroughly impressed with the Nativity play performance, as well as Santa coming for breakfast where
there were a range of activities to take part in. Winterfold always makes such events fun and engaging for parents too. I look forward to next Christmas's events.

A very good experience for our daughter at the Winterfold Kindergarten. She has been very thoroughly supported, involved and cared for. The staff have a personal and professional approach, and the resources and activities are very good.

Our daughter is in her second year at the kindergarten at winterfold and during her time there she has come along so much. Her confidence has grown and she really enjoys her time at school. I can't praise the teachers enough. They really try to meet the individual needs of each child.
The
facilities at Winterfold are great, our daughter loves the outdoor learner spaces such as peacock lodge, forest school and gardening club.

We are delighted that our daughter attends this school in the kindergarten class. From the moment you walk through the reception doors, you are greeted with smiles and happy conversations with all members of staff and other parents/children. Our daughter always enjoys her time in kindergarten and
the staff go above and beyond to create a fulfilled safe learning environment for all the children. The opportunities and facilities the children have access to is fantastic, coupled with the weekly activities, special occasions and lovely school meals, I am truly thankful that our eldest daughter attends and our youngest will be joining next year when she is old enough.

Fantastic, supportive staff who really get to know the children and value them individually. Resources, facilities and environment is impressive and the activities planned are engaging and creative. There is lots of wider school involvement in concerts etc which really shows the lovely ethos of the
school. Really supportive in terms of school readiness, and challenging children's learning.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are incredibly kind, pleasant and genuinely nurturing, they really do care for the children as if they were their own, which gives us huge peace of mind as parents.
Communication is excellent and we're always kept well informed about how our son
is doing and what he's been learning.
The facilities are fantastic, from the engaging classrooms to the amazing outdoor lodge and forest school area, which gives the children wonderful opportunities to explore and learn in nature.
Most importantly, the nursery has a brilliant approach to teaching through play. Our son is learning, growing in confidence and having fun every single day. We feel very lucky to have found such a special place for him.

I honestly couldn't be happier with our Daughter's Kindergarten and we feel incredibly grateful to have found such a high quality setting. From the moment she started, it was clear that the setting provides a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment. The facilities are excellent, thoughtfully
designed to encourage both learning and play. What truly makes it special though is the outstanding staff. Our Daughter's teacher and teaching assistant are absolutely incredible. They take the time to understand each child as an individual and create such a positive, supportive atmosphere. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since staring here, her confidence has grown so much and its wonderful to see how enthusiastic she is about going to school. We wholeheartedly recommend this Kindergarten.

Winterfold House Kindergarten has been an incredible environment for my child. From the moment we joined, the warmth and professionalism of the staff have been outstanding. It is clear they genuinely care about every child's individual development and wellbeing.
The facilities are top-tier,
especially the outdoor spaces and Forest School, which have done wonders for my child's confidence and curiosity. My child runs through the doors with excitement every morning, which is the best endorsement a parent could ask for. I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly to any family looking for a nurturing and stimulating start for their little one.

Amazing kindergarten for my daughter who really looks forward to going in everyday. The teachers should really be applauded for their caring natures and hard work. They really invest their time to make sure each child thrives and enjoys their time there. Very safe environment as well, and my
daughter loves the food served to her as they take into account her dietary requirements which we truly appreciate.

A truly wonderful nursery experience
From the moment my son started at Winterfold's nursery when he was one year old, we have been surrounded by kindness, understanding, and genuine care. The team has supported not only my child's growth and development but also me as a parent - always there with
a listening ear, thoughtful guidance, and a warmth that makes the nursery feel like an extension of our own family.
Every member of staff takes the time to know the children as individuals, celebrating their personalities and helping them thrive at their own pace. My son is a confident, happy, and curious little boy, and I have no doubt this is down to the nurturing environment and engaging learning experiences the nursery provides.
The consistency of care is wonderful - my son is excited to go in every morning, and I have complete peace of mind knowing he's in such capable and loving hands.

The kindergarten facilities at Winterfold are amazing, the staff are all very caring and have had a huge impact on my son's development. I would highly recommend the environment and the out door activities at peacock lodge and forest school are very enjoyable and engaging for children.

Our son has been with Winterfold since he was two, and he settled in so beautifully. The progression we've seen in him - his confidence, speech, independence, ability to make friends, and how he interacts with both familiar and new people - has been so wonderful and reassuring.
He absolutely
loves the time he spends at school, especially when he's outside learning about the world at Peacock Lodge. I really love how the children are encouraged to get involved and learn new skills in such a natural and engaging way.
He will be starting Reception in September, and the way the team are preparing him for this next step has been fantastic. I'm so impressed with his understanding of numbers, phonics, and writing, which will give him such a great advantage when he begins.
Thank you to all the wonderful teachers for making our son's first few years so memorable, and for all the care, encouragement, and support you give to our children.

We couldn't be happier with this kindergarten. My daughter goes in happy and comes out happy everyday which says everything. The staff are absolutely wonderful - caring, nurturing and generally invested in the children's wellbeing. She really enjoys coming here and often asks to go even on her days
off. The range of activities is fantastic and keeps the children engaged and excited. From forest school to music classes to the gym hall and peacock lodge. This really helps keep things fresh and stimulating for her. Most importantly we feel she is safe, happy and cared for.

From the Reception Desk to The Classroom this school holds our child's needs to the highest standards.
Without fail we are greeted at drop off & pick up with a smile & a good morning or good afternoon.
Kindly pushing our child to learn & think outside the box daily so that she grows up with
strong core values & connections to adults & children alike.
These are not just teachers or TAs doing a job to an end but individuals with true sense that they genuinely love & want to be here everyday with our children is abundantly clear.
For parents of a child who can be "challenging" when bored she has come on beyond expectations & gained confidence in herself to express feelings & needs clearly to avoid any kind of negative feelings towards school or learning.
All thanks must go to the entirety of this school & its staff for giving us hope & faith in the education system again! They take our views seriously & communicate with us openly about any concerns or ideas that may help everyone.

Our son's time at kindergarten has been wonderful. He was very shy but the teachers really helped him come out of his shell. All the staff are amazing, always courteous and helpful. They maintain a very nurturing environment. They make great effort on special days (Father's/Mother's days, etc). The
outdoor facilities are really good. I have recommended Winterfold to my friends and family'

The kindergarten at Winterfold house school is fantastic. Boys of my boys have attended and loved it. I found it to be a very nurturing environment. The staff and facilities are brilliant, as well as the school meals.
