Can't speak highly enough of this nursery. As a dad of twins, everything's double the work, but the staff here have been amazing from day one. They've been so supportive and always go out of their way to help us out. The outside play area is brilliant loads of space and activities, and our 2 absolutely love it. The sensory room is fantastic too, such a great space for them to explore. Our twins are always happy going in and come home smiling every day. Sometimes they don't want to come home! :) Couldn't ask for a better place for them.

The staff at The Old Station Nursery in Devizes are simply wonderful-friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about supporting every child. From the moment we visited, it was clear how much they care about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, and valued. What really sets this nursery apart is their unique approach to learning. With outdoor spaces, woodland areas, a mud kitchen, and even pygmy goats, children have endless opportunities to explore, be curious, and engage with nature. The Forest School-inspired activities make learning exciting and hands-on, helping children develop both skills and confidence in a fun, creative way. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough!

Sixpenny is such a lovely nursery - our minds at ease from our initial tour. Our child has been in babies for a year now and absolutely loves it. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming whilst providing excellent care. The facilities are brilliant, the ongoing refurbishments are looking fabulous and there are great outside spaces for play. We love hearing about what the children have been up to during the day, they regularly get to participate in wonderful experiences like the recent visit of exotic creatures. It also amazes us the variety of food provided by the nursery, providing real peace of mind our child is eating well.

We are so impressed with staff and facilities at Sixpenny. Our child has grown so much in his time there, he's explored new food, his speech has developed and he had made so many friends. Thank you so much for everything you do.

Really impressed with Sixpenny. They do lots of different fun activities with the babies, offer a wide range of food, and the staff are wonderful. Super impressed with the management as well, the manager and her team are lovely people and have put all of my worries at ease when my little boy took a while to settle in. They are super personable, and that really makes a difference.

Our daughter has settled so well into Sixpenny, I can not recommend them enough. The staff have been fantastic and have already build strong relationships with our daughter, her days are filled with lots of stimulating activities and amazing food. At the end of the day I'm given an indept handover with everything she's been up to throughout the day. It's such a relief to be able to go to work and know she's being so well cared for!

Sixpenny have gone out of their way to support both us and our twin boys in their transition to nursery. Nothing is too much trouble. Our boys are in Babies 1 and we know each day that the boys are happy and stimulated in a student-centred environment. I would highly recommend this impressive and compassionate team to all new parents in the area. Thank you.

My daughter has loved her time at sixpenny nursery! The staff are all amazing and focus all their time ensuring the children have the best time while in their care! The facilities are incredible and their outdoors space is a big win for my little girl who loves the outdoors! I would highly recommended Sixpenny nursery!

My son has loved coming to Sixpenny since day one. All the staff are fabulous, the food is fantastic and he comes home everyday exhausted but happy after a full day of play. The staff have really encouraged his development and learning and he has clearly formed a real bond with all of them.

I regularly collect my niece from nursery and always love coming in to find out all about her day. The activities are varied and engaging, and my niece is always so excited to tell me all about her day! The outdoor areas are outstanding and this provides the children with incredible opportunities to learn through the world around them. The team are always helpful and friendly, giving detailed handovers about her day! I know my niece is incredibly happy at Sixpenny and we will miss it lots when she goes to school in September!

Our twins absolutely love going to Sixpenny and we love sending them there: the staff are brilliant, compassionate, and fun, and it's so brilliant for us to know that they are getting thoughtful, fun, structured activities during the day. The staff are always so good-humoured and the management team have always been really supportive - communication is fantastic.

My little one loves this nursery! She's really started to come out of her shell and the days she spends here are helping to shape her. The staff are really friendly and helpful! The meals they provide are varied and they make sure to check for allergens. The outside areas are remarkable and make great experiences for the children!

The staff are the best thing about this nursery. They provide an excellent level of care and my child is very happy here. However, since this setting has been taken over by the Old Station Nursery Group, the fees have increased significantly. This is far, far higher than other nurseries in the area and way above inflation / other factors like NI increase etc. Sadly the funds have not been put back into the setting and the facilities are tired. Very disappointing to see what is an excellent nursery being squeezed for profits. This is unfair on the children, parents and staff.

My daughter has been attending Pre-school since September last year, I'm an extremely anxious person especially leaving my child with anyone but right from the start my daughter was treated absolutely amazingly as well as myself and her dad! When I gave birth to my 2nd i felt at ease with my daughter being at nursery during the day, then having all the staff support her in becoming a big sister getting her to talk all about it and listened to her! My daughter has a game in the morning where she doesn't want to go in unless she gets a hug and without a shadow of doubt one of the teachers will be ready to give her a hug! She comes home in the evenings happy and tells us about all the stuff she does. I'm extremely happy with sixpenny they've been amazing! I love fetching her in the evenings and hearing how she's been outside in the garden playing and having fun with her friends.

My son attended Six Pennys at 8 months and has thrived and loved every second. Seeing him run down the corridor every morning and watching him embrace the staff shows how happy and comfortable he is there. He has experienced so many lovely things and is able to interact with lots of different people. His speech has come on so much and he clearly loves being in this setting. The staff are all lovely and so helpful in any situation. Highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter started Sixpenny's in January, and she has settled in really quickly. I am impressed by the level of care she has received and the effort staff put in to have a variety of activities each day. Since starting nursery my daughter sleeps better and is growing in confidence. Would definitely recommend

Sending my son to this nursery was the best thing I've done. The staff are fantastic, and genuinely care about him and his progression. He is learning so much, and is given the freedom to grow with the support of the team. They update me all the time, and make is easier to drop him off.

The team in Babies two have been fantastic. They have gone above and beyond to support my child and us a family settling into nursery life. They always take the time to give detailed feedback. There is an excellent understanding of how working closely with us as a family allows consistency for my child. They are keen to try new things that we try at home but equally give us recommendations to. The team have made such an effort to get to know my child and her interests. Leaving your baby is made so much easier knowing they are well looked after and cared for. Thank you!

Sixpenny is such a lovely nursery - our minds at ease from our initial tour. Our child has been in babies for a year now and absolutely loves it. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming whilst providing excellent care. The facilities are brilliant, the ongoing refurbishments are looking fabulous and there are great outside spaces for play. Really impressed with Sixpenny. They do lots of different fun activities with the babies, offer a wide range of food, and the staff are wonderful. Super impressed with the management as well, the manager and her team are lovely people and have put all of my worries at ease when my little boy took a while to settle in. Our daughter has settled so well into Sixpenny, I can not recommend them enough. Sixpenny have gone out of their way to support both us and our twin boys in their transition to nursery. Nothing is too much trouble. My daughter has loved her time at sixpenny nursery! The staff are all amazing and focus all their time ensuring the children have the best time while in their care!
