Our daughter loves it here and has really come out of her shell since starting and moving through all the rooms. She even asks to go at the weekend!
The management team and the staff in all the rooms are all incredibly friendly and welcoming to both the children and parents. There are always lots
of themed activities taking place every day, helping the children develop valuable skills and learn new things. The regular updates on the app are also great-it's lovely being able to see what she's been up to during the day.
There's a good variety of food, and the team were fantastic when helping with her potty training. The children also spend plenty of time outdoors, which is great. The garden is huge, and the bike and trike tracks are brilliant-they've really helped build her confidence, and now she's much more eager to try riding her bike at home.

My child has been attending the setting for nearly two years. All of the staff who have cared for her have always been friendly and professional. They all know her well, and are so child focussed. The setting is clean and the activities/toys of good quality. They have regular themed days, and often
provide photos and descriptions of my child's learning. My child enjoys the food and eats well there. The setting have been amazing at supporting her potty training. I can't speak more highly of Kiddi Caru Downend Road!

We love Kiddi Caru Downend Road and so does our toddler. A real highlight is the staff- they genuinely care about the children's wellbeing, happiness, and growth. They spend a lot of time outside and exploring in the garden, and have engaging activities every day. Another positive is that the food
provided is nutritious, not ultra processed, and varied.

Our daughter moved out of a setting very quickly and in to Downend Road, they were so kind and really helped us to feel she would be safe and cared for. In the 3 short months she has been there she has come on leaps and bounds. She is absolutely thriving. She is so excited to go in and often we have
to coax her out the door at home time.
The staff in all rooms are so caring and wonderful but having mainly experienced the butterflies girls i have to say they are just exceptional at what they do. They always have special themes planned and always have activities throughout the day that really keeps the children entertained. We look forward to the posts we receive to see what exciting things they are up to.
I was very nervous to move her but I am so glad we did. The whole setting are so warm and welcoming.

Great nursery with supportive and caring staff. My son transferred after struggling in the previous nursery and has made significant progress since, almost a year now. Despite the tears every morning, delayed speech and challenging behaviour since he reached 'terrible twos" the staff has been caring
and understanding, supporting him while taking an individualistic approach, such as creating transition cards for him. We love the big garden and app where we can see what our son has been up to including pictures and videos.

Kiddi Caru Downend is a warm, friendly and great nursery. Our daughter is happy and well looked after. A particular highlight is the outdoor space and excellent hand over at the end of the day.Thank you.

My daughter has attended this nursery(preschool) for nearly a year now. The staff are very good with her and respectful. I can tell that she's learned a lot since she's there. She always looks excited and cheerful when she's going to the nursery. Thank you

Our daughter has been going to Kiddi Caru since last summer and she absolutely loves it, and the staff are amazing. Her key worker has been amazing and supportive. It's a strange thing leaving your child for a whole day at a time, but the support you get here is amazing, and its all built on
transparency and trust - the staff go above and beyond to make sure we are all looked after and we are so grateful. Thanks team.

My son has attended Kiddi Caru for 6 months now and has loved it from day 1. The staff are really nurturing and you can tell they adore working with the kids. I've been impressed with the activities they put on- from sensory trays, to sing and sign. I'm kept very informed with regular updates on
what my son has been up to, eaten, sleeping patterns and nappy changes. I enjoy seeing the photos on the app. Sometimes we also receive reports on their progress and invites to parents evenings or events. They often have themed days too which keeps it more exciting for the kids. The management is proactive in making improvements, the menu is great and all the children eat together, the toys and resources are all relatively new and incorporate different styles of learning including Montessori, is clean, and the garden is an amazing space with a separate area for the babies too. Overall I can highly recommend the nursery and will also be sending my daughter there in January 2026.

My daughter loves Mama Bears.
We are happy with the nursery too - the staff are all very friendly and have a good relationship with the children.
The menus are good and the app really helps to understand what your child has been doing through the day.

I have been taking my daughter to Mama Bear's Day Nursery in Downend for more than two years now, and I have to say that we are extremely happy with the service provided by the nursery. My daughter started attending it when she was only nine months old, and from day one, she has loved it. The staff
are professional and incredibly friendly, and they have always made us feel welcome. My daughter has learned so much during her time at Mama Bear's Day Nursery, and she has developed her skills and abilities in so many ways. The facilities at the nursery are excellent, with plenty of opportunities for children to learn and play in a safe and stimulating environment. The nursery is always tidy, and the staff are very attentive to the needs of the children.

An excellent nursery that provides wonderful care and excellent learning opportunities. Great communication between professionals and parents both in person and on the app. Lots of lovely updates on the app daily and they are very good with updating on incidents and management of them.

I am very satisfied with this kindergarten and I recommend it to all parents, my child has developed very well.
My child now says words like colours, numbers and knows the alphabet, like the food from the kindergarten. We are very happy with this kindergarten

I’ve had a very positive experience with Mama Bear's. The staff are great, friendly and very attentive to my son. He loves going to nursery and always has a great day. The meals are nutritious and varied, as well the play and activities are varied.

The staff at Mama Bears are amazing and go above and beyond to accommodate everyone. They build excellent relationships with the children in their care, as well as adapt their approach with the needs of each child. I would highly recommend this nursery.

The whole team at Downend Road have all been so good at settling my daughter into nursery, and just always so helpful. They always have information about the day when I collect my children. I truly trust that they are giving the best care, with lots of updates posted on the parent app each day.
Staff have particularly been great at keeping me updated and my children really happy.

My daughter loves the nursery and always has a great day. She’s learnt a lot since being there and education seems to be done in a really fun way. My only issue has been the completion of the dinners and lunches. It would be really useful if the amount eaten was documented accurately. I’ve had times
where I’ve been told at the door that she’s not really eaten, but the parent app stated she has eaten all her meal.
Overall, really happy and love the fact all the staff seemed to get to know her really quickly.

Nursery was superb. Staff were amazing. Everything was recorded from sleeping to nappy change to what my children had eaten. They had a routine which both my children adapted to which they still use at home. My son wasn't all that keen on messy play to begin with but by the time he left to attend
big school, he loved messy play and also began to try different texture of foods. Thank you Downend Road.
