I have 2 grandchildren attending Bright Horizons. The eldest is turning 3 and has been attending since she was 10 months old. The youngest is turning one year old this month (August 2025) and has only just joined. However he loves it. The staff are amazingly attentive, the security top notch (they have always asked my ID, even though they recognise me), the development next to none. The children enjoy their time at Bright Horizons and come home so tired, great and having eaten so well. They love being able to play outside, in the secure play garden too. I am so pleased with my granddaughters development, speech, walking, running, jumping, sharing, singing etc. I hope my grandson develops equally well. However it is thanks to the dedication of the staff and use of fantastic facilities that I owe this. It is so difficult to know if you are choosing the right place for your children, my daughter did so well and captured a gem in Bright Horizons

Cannot rate this nursery high enough they are outstanding! My son joined and was barely saying 5 words he is now fully talking, confident and ready to go of to school soon. Excellent communication from all staff, awesome activities and always learning! Staff are beyond helpful and really care. Two specific members of staff in pre school room we love you!

We just moved back to the UK from the US and I was concerned about my daughter's wellbeing and education due to the stress and upheaval. There was no need to worry though as the staff have been amazing. My daughter settled very quickly and she is flourishing. Thank you!

The staff are amazing. They make my son feel so welcome every time he arrives. They are warm, friendly and helpful. They always inform me about his day and are happy to answer any questions I might have. They upload observations on the app and plan next steps to further develop learning, which is great. There are lots of resources and activities on offer and all the staff are so engaging. You can tell how passionate they are in their work and my husband and I appreciate everything they do for our son. He loves it there!

My daughter has been at the nursery for a year and she loves it. The staff are extremly attentive and friendly. They work very hard and it's clear they are passionate about their role in supporting the development of our daughter. I feel happy knowing my daughter is safe and cared for whilst I'm at work and her Key worker has been brilliant in providing us updates. We considered moving our daughter to a preschool as she's nearly 3 but because she enjoys the nursery and has a great relationship with the staff we've decided to keep her at Bright Horizons until she starts school. The nursery is great, but it's the staff that make it brilliant.

My 2 year old loves nursery. She started at 11 months and settled in really quickly thanks to the kind staff. She is happy to go and always happy when she is picked up. The nursery is great for her communication skills and she always comes home very chatty. She loves being able to do the things she enjoys from bikes to painting to playing with babies. Thank you.

A wonderful nursery. My daughter has been there since she was 8 months old and she has always been settled, calm and well-connected to the staff there. They have always followed her lead, allowing her to choose her key people for example and have fostered her sense of self and independence. She has grown so much in confidence and ability since being at this nursery and she gets excited each day to go and see her friends and the staff there. Facilities are always clean, well-maintained and abundant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery. It certainly isn't cheap to send children here, but I believe this is true for all nursery settings and is a reflection of our government support, not the nursery.

My son adores nursery, usually you get the odd exceptional member of staff but there is not one person who isn't amazing, they care for the children so well and really take the time to understand them and help process thoughts and feelings. We are so lucky to have found them!

Really happy with the care and support all staff offer my son who has been in the nursery for the last 2 and a half years. We have also previously had my daughter in the nursery with the same great nurturing approach. Great nursery with great caring staff.

Our son has attended this nursery for 2 years now, initially for 3 days and now for 4 days. He absolutely loves it and we have been so happy with the quality of care provided and the variety of activities offered. His confidence, language and behaviour have developed greatly and he has a lovely rapport with the nursery staff, who are all very warm and engaging. The two ladies are excellent managers and have always been helpful and kind whenever we've needed support.

It's such a shame I can't mention names as there are two people at this nursery who I just adore! Since we joined in November they have been amazing and make my son smile every single day! He loves being there so much and has created such a lovely bond with his key worker! The deputy manager onsite always makes time for my daughter who does not even attend there! They really do become a second family and they all light up the faces of my two children when we walk in there. I could not recommend this nursery any higher! I wish I had found them when I had my first!

Best choice I ever made. All staff are amazing. I've seen so many changes on my girl since she started going to Bright Horizons Bury St Edmunds Day Nursery and Preschool. Highly recommend. Barely can wait for my other baby boy to start attending nursery as well he definitely goes to Bright Horizons.

Wouldn't leave my child anywhere else. The girls are amazing. They are like part of our family now. The manager is a superstar. She is always happy to help. We are very happy, lucky we found you girls.

My daughter has had a lovely experience at this nursery since last year. She has really thrived here and we see her developing and learning as a result of the high standard of care provided. Nursery staff are very attentive and there are always great activities that my daughter thoroughly enjoys and engages with. There are active plans and reviews to cater to individual development needs for your child. I always feel very well informed about her day either through face to face updates or via their app, which is a really great communication tool. It’s been a great choice for us.

We have been so happy with the care provided for our children at this nursery. All of the staff know the children very well with special care from their key workers. Our girls look forward to going each week. The outside space is excellent and the range of activities provided extends beyond the normal range. Overall and most importantly, I feel that our girls are very happy here.

Fantastic nursery. Key workers are patient and supportive and have taken the time to really get to know my daughter. She was very nervous when she started there last year but she absolutely loves it.

We have been very pleased with the standard of care and nurturing provided by everyone at Bright Horizons Bury St Edmunds Day Nursery and Preschool over the past two years. Our son has learned and grown so much. He is always well taken care of, especially on the days when he has more emotions than usual. We always feel well informed on how he is spending his days and how much he is eating and what they are working on at the moment. We have no complaints!

I am so happy that I chose this nursery for my children to attend. For six years, I have been able to drop first my son and then three years later, my daughter, off safe in the knowledge they will be well looked after, have fun and learn lots. The staff are kind, caring and knowledgeable and my children have loved their time there and made firm friends. Thank you very much, Tassel Road, for giving my children a wonderful nursery and preschool experience.
