I am pleased to write another positive feedback for my baby's nursery.
As a mother, I still notice the positive effect on my baby when she comes home from nursery. She is happy and content and makes great strides in growth every day.
Thank you for caring for my baby.
The staff are very friendly,
warming and loving towards our daughter, which has helped her settle in and enjoy her time at the nursery.
We appreciate your patience and kindness every day.

My daughter graduated from Tops Copnor in August 2025 after attending for 2 years. I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole team. We came to Tops Copnor after a very negative experience elsewhere which knocked my little girls confidence. The team were so wonderful, she settled
perfectly and they renewed our trust as parents.
We knew each day she attended she would be surrounded by incredibly caring staff who kept her entertained and learning from the moment we dropped her off right to pick up. She had so many fabulous experiences from cooking school and forest school too trying such a wide range of wonderful foods on the menu. She came home with new words, songs and knowledge every day and genuinely thrived in their care.
My daughter left and started primary this year and even now she still asks when she can go and visit. There aren't enough words to express how much we appreciate and highly reccomend Jenny and the whole team at Tops!

This review has been long overdue-I've been meaning to write it for a while now! Our daughter joined the nursery in January 2025 when she was just 14 months old. Honestly, I was quite anxious about the whole thing.
However, all my worries quickly faded. From the very beginning, I noticed such a
positive change in her. She comes home from nursery full of energy, so cheerful, talkative, and active. Her little happy dance and the songs she sings after each session just melt our hearts-it's the sweetest sight!
A massive thank you to everyone involved in her care. It's clear how loved and well-looked-after she is, and we really appreciate all the effort that goes into making her day so enjoyable. A special shout-out to the team for sharing regular photo updates-I eagerly wait for those every time (I'll admit, I'm always very curious to see what she's up to)!

Lovely, helpful team who the children clearly love to see and feel very comfortable with. I frequently see what my child has been up to as there are lots of logs on the app which is great. My child eats a great deal more after eating their lunchtime meals also.
I would recommend them and use them
again if needed.

Tops Day Nursery provides a caring, nurturing and stimulating environment. Our child loves his time spent at the nursery and enjoys engaging with the wide range of activities on offer. We are confident that all the staff have taken time to get to know him, his interests and his needs well. The staff
are friendly and approachable. Feedback and updates are regular, especially via the app. We have also appreciated the opportunities to attend family-based events including a Christmas party. We would highly recommend the setting.

Clearly the children are happy, actively engaged, and well supported by the staff whilst encouraged to learn and play both together and individually.
It is obvious that many of the toys and activities encourage creative and imaginative interaction and the magnetic squares and triangles and the
electric candles are especially effective.

My son has been going to Tops Day Nurseries for over a year now. To start, it was difficult to send him when I finished Mat leave, but all the staff were so supportive both to him and myself. He thrives in the environment as it is loving, caring and safe. He has the freedom to explore and play, but
also a structure to the day, including snack time, his favourite! Circle time and group activities. It is a wonderful place, and I have no hesitation in sending any siblings to Tops. Thank you to the whole team.

Great nursery for my child. It will be sad to leave as we are graduating nursery this year.
It was a great place for my child to grow and develop. We've received regular reviews and felt confident in teacher's abilities.
We've loved sustainability, healthy meals, and play schema at nursery.
The
most important thing - our child loved going to nursery every single day!

Both my girls attended Tops nursery in Copnor! I can't fault it, keyworkers and the manager are so caring and kind! Very attentive to specific needs. My girls loved all the activities and no one day was ever boring. I would highly recommend it and use it again, if needed! My girls are now at school
and miss everyone at Tops very much! I believe my girls both had the most wonderful days here as part of their early years.

Staff - excellent, caring and attentive.
Use of parents' app - minimal (nappies and arrival/leave time) for my child. Would appreciate more info (food/sleep).
Resources - sustainable and interesting. Great for development.
Admin - responsive and timely.
Communication - could improve. Difficult
to have a rushed/public conversation at the door with children present.
Cost - reasonable. Staff deserve a decent wage for their hard work.

Our son enjoys attending nursery, has fun with his friends and there is a lot of imaginative play involved. Lots of books to read and games to create mental stimulation. I would like to see more time spent outside in the garden as this doesn't seem to happen very often, but overall, a very nice
nursery.

Everyone at Tops Days is friendly and welcoming. Two ladies, in particular, have been amazing supporting my child through her emotions and hard times; thank you! She is always excited to attend nursery and loves looking at her activities that the staff upload. She has made great progress from Tops
Day.

We couldn’t be happier with Tops day nursery, Copnor. We already recommended it to our friends and we are extremely happy that our baby girl is attending this nursery. The staff are so welcoming. Our baby girl was a lockdown baby and didn’t get the chance to spend much time with other people so she
was quite upset when she first started. The lovely ladies always were so reassuring with us and did their best to make our daughter feel safe and cared about. They always give her cuddles and reassurance that she is in the best hands when mummy or daddy is not there. We are over the moon with Copnor Tops Day Nursery and we plan to keep our baby girl here as long as possible.

One of the best nurseries my child has attended. The staff they're very friendly, and they'll give you a full handover on your child. My baby, she's always happy going and coming from the nursery. My child settled very well because the staff were loving and caring towards her.

Ever since my daughter started here, they have gone over and above to make her feel comfortable. The activities they fo with the children are so adorable and creative with the learning side always made fun. My daughters two main nursery teachers are so caring, friendly and thoughtful. It's always

Although this nursery used to be a fantastic setting when it was run under the previous management, since the takeover by Tops Day Nurseries I have encountered nothing but problems. The staff turnover has increased and a lot of the more experienced staff have left. There are now only 2 members of
the team which are friendly, warm, caring towards my son.
What once used to be a friendly and welcoming environment now seems cold and hostile and the staff seem unhappy.
My son's speech was very slow starting and showed little to no improvement whilst at Tops, During lockdown, I was forced to put him in a different nursery and in 4 months the difference was unbelievable.
Since Sept 2019 when I received my first bill from Tops up until today I have never received a correct bill, every single month they overcharge me and it takes many many emails to get the issues sorted and instead of being apologetic it is although I am being difficult and receive a lot of hostility from the nursery manager.

Friendly and accommodating nursery, our son has attended for 2 years so far and he has come along beautifully thanks to the care and dedication of his keyworkers and the team. I like that it is a small nursery as it has allowed our son and us to build a rapport with the staff.
His keyworkers in
the previous 2 rooms were excellent at keeping us up to date with his progress, having recently moved to the preschool room, I hope to establish a similar rapport with his new keyworker.

The reason for management being marked as Satisfactory and not higher is every month we are having to chase the invoice, this should be sent automatically.
Food and drink again marked as Satisfactory as my daughter has a cow milk protein allergy and all she seems to be given for breakfast is dry
hoops.
There doesn't seem to be any variety in the breakfast meal.
All other meals are good. Cheese was written on her day sheet as a meal she was given, although the staff assured me she wasn't.
Why was it written there?
