I can't fault the Dickie birds teams. My little one has been going there for nearly 2 years and they have been nothing but welcoming and nurturing for both my little one and me/my partner as first time parents and all the worries that go with that.
I got made redundant half way through my little
ones stint at the nursery meaning we had to pull her put. They were so supportive and made the process extremely stress free for us and visa Versa when our little one returned.
I feel completely at ease when dropping her off at the nursery and I know she is in the most capable hands. So much so that she always talks about her teachers and key workers outside of nursery.
A big thank you to the whole team. We appreciate you very much.

Both my children have been in the Claremont road Dicky birds nursery and i have been quite happy with level of care they have been receiving. They have both been very happy to be in nursery and have been enjoying themselves whilst doing different activities facilitated by the staff. Staff are

We have had a consistently excellent experience with Dicky Birds Nursery - Claremont Road. Our daughter has been attending for several months now and, from the outset, the care and warmth shown by the team has been outstanding. She is genuinely excited to go in each morning, settles quickly, and
leaves us with a smile - which says everything.
The staff are attentive, kind, and clearly take the time to understand each child as an individual. We have seen a noticeable leap in our daughter's confidence, communication, and overall development; she comes home singing songs, trying new words, and engaging far more with the world around her.
Even though we have since moved and the nursery is no longer the most convenient option geographically, we have never once considered changing settings. Our daughter is thriving here, and that reassurance is invaluable. The environment feels safe, nurturing, and well-run, and it is clear that the team genuinely care about the children in their charge.

There isn't enough space in this textbox to talk about how wonderful the team are at Dicky Birds, Claremont Road. Our daughter is 19 months and has been going there for 7 months. She absolutely loves it, she walks in every morning and keenly waves goodbye to us. The team are so caring and loving
towards the children. We've noticed a massive improvement in her development and she's full of songs and chat. Since our daughter started here we've moved house so it's a little out of the way but we wouldn't even consider moving her because she's just so happy here!

I would rate this 4.5 if possible. The standout positive is the staff-they are exceptional and consistently make you feel confident that your child is receiving the very best care. Our child thoroughly enjoys their time there, which is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the team. They
truly are the heroes of Dicky Birds.
The setting offers a wide range of engaging activities, including off-site experiences, which greatly support learning and development. The food is varied and, overall, very healthy. Allergies and special dietary requirements are carefully considered, and the team is always accommodating.
My only recommendations would be improved lighting in the driveway, particularly during the winter months, and consideration of installing cameras for added reassurance.

My son has been going to this Dicky Birds for just over 6 months now and it really gives me peace of mind that he is happy and well looked after here. All the staff are so caring, even those that aren't in his class/room know him and show a genuine interest in his wellbeing and development. When
things don't work, the team are quick to address it as best they can.

The care, love, and support my child has received has been absolutely fantastic. She is always so happy and excited to go, and we couldn't ask for more. The staff are all so dedicated and caring. The layout for all age group is well established. They keep upgrading the toys and musical instruments
which keeps the children excited.

Our little one has been in the baby room for the last 7 months and we're so pleased. The staff are so good with him and he clearly adores them. They've made the switch to all wooden Montessori-style toys and constantly introduce loads of activities like painting, sensory play, sandpits, and lots of
outdoor time. What more could a toddler want! All of the staff are so great with our son and clearly care about his wellbeing. I also really appreciate how well tenured the staff are.

The team at Claremont Road are wonderful and so caring. Our son had an accident last summer and broke his leg, and the nursery staff were absolutely amazing, giving him (and us) all the support we needed. Top marks!

We're really happy with the nursery. The staff in the rooms are great and we feel they really know our son. At times the management feels a bit disorganised (very late notifications about some events etc) but this hasn't tarnished our overall positive impression

The best nursery ever. The staff are doing their best and beyond for the kids. My child is happy and safe here. The nursery is very clean with a lot of toys and books which are cleaned regularly, also the sleeping sheets are washed regularly and they change diapers for the kids very frequently. They
do a lot of activities for the kids (education, music classes, dancing, singing, PE, arts and crafts) plus taking them in outings and forest classes. Really the best nursery!

This is our second time around with No.62 Dicky Birds after my daughter left in 2023. My son is now in the baby room and loving his time in nursery. Both children settled in really quickly and enjoying going in and I credit the wonderful staff there for that. The activities are always engaging and
well thought out. We love Dicky Birds truly a safe, loving home-from home setting.

My daughter loves going into nursery and doesn’t want to leave. She learns so much, talks about their outings and the people that work there with joy. Food is varied and nutritious too. I enjoy the ad-hoc observations recorded on the app and really do feel the staff “know her”. There are three rooms
and she is now in the oldest one. This room has a lot more children to staff, so I can’t comment yet on how accurate/helpful the observations and how the pre-schooler aspect works. I have another child attending in a few months and despite moving house, I wanted my baby daughter to attend here as well as I could feel safe that she will be cared for well. There is a community with other parents too. However, the fees are very high compared to the area, have been raised twice in a tax year and again this month ahead of increased “free” hours, the sibling discount reduced. I feel this is unsustainable for us, is a failure of head office (not local nursery management) and feel taken advantage of.

We cannot rate Dicky Birds Claremont Road highly enough, it’s like a big family and we couldn’t be happier we chose it as the nursery for our 2 children. They are both thriving and after experiencing some time at another nursery prior to attending Dicky Birds the difference is huge. The manager is
fantastic, as are all of the staff and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone. I have given the outdoor space a 4 star as the garden isn’t the biggest but they use the space really well and the kids seem to love it. They also go on outings regularly and still do a lot of outdoor activities like planting etc so I don’t actually think the limited size of the garden actually has any negative impact.

We are so happy with Dicky Birds Claremont Road. My Son has been in all 3 classes and I’ve cried each one he has left as the staff are so wonderful and he is always happy to attend. I recommend them to all I know with children under 5.

The staff at the nursery are outstanding and our little one really enjoys going there. Also learning and education are great. The downside is the amount of outdoor time the children get. For several months there were no outings happening due to equipment being faulty. Some days they won’t even go
outside at all, though the weather would permit. For wet days we provide change clothes which barely get used. Another area of improvement can be the routine of washing hands and hygiene. When we drop off our little one the handwashing is done in under 5 seconds and that is way too little to ensure the hands are clean. I wish there would be more attention to that, so viruses and bacteria wouldn’t spread that fast. Otherwise, this nursery is one of the best we have seen in our neighbourhood, especially down to the staff!

Just felt compelled to write another review about my daughter’s nursery as she transitions into Emus, the oldest of the three rooms. Once again, the care provided is second to none. The staff in Swans and now in Emus are excellent, and my daughter couldn’t enjoy going in more! I’d absolutely
recommend Dicky Birds as a place to send your child.

I’m so thrilled to have come across Dicky Birds Nursery after relocating from Australia. I was desperate to find the perfect family feel environment for my daughter who was missing her friends and family back home. As soon as I set foot in this gorgeous nursery I knew this was the place. The staff
are all amazing and my otherwise shy little girl settled quickly with the kind carers. On top of that, the group of children and their parents are also truly lovely. Everyone makes time to catch up outside of the nursery and the staff at Dicky Birds also make an effort to have multiple social events throughout the year to bring everyone together. On top of all this the staff has also offered invaluable support and resources to ourselves as parents when we’ve needed them. They have really gone above and beyond. It’s quite a remarkable little community to be a part of.

Our daughter has been at the nursery since she turned one and we are very pleased with the care she has received both as a Duckling and now as a Swan. The staff work so hard to look after the children and cater to their individual needs when needed. The staff and management team have always been
accommodating and approachable. There are also plenty of regular fun and stimulating activities for the children. We are so happy that we chose Dicky Birds and this particular nursery.

Great team, collaborative and knowledgeable. They listen to feedback and take action so that the care they provide meets parents' expectations and offers consistency for the child.
Good facilities and learning opportunities and a higher-than-average food menu on offer!
