In January 2026, I was looking for a nursery for my 4-year-old son. He is a child who always looks for connection with teachers and the people around him, so finding the right environment was very important to me.
After visiting a few nurseries, our final visit was to Bright Horizons and it made a
strong impression. Becky, the head teacher, welcomed us warmly, and my son was immediately happy and comfortable. The whole team was very welcoming, supportive, and helpful from the start.
Becky and her staff have been great, always showing care and professionalism. The classroom offers lots of activities, and there are always teachers and staff available to support the children.
Overall, we had a very positive experience and felt the environment was caring, engaging, and supportive for young children.

Solid nursery. Very friendly. Very helpful. Our daughter enjoys it and is clearly well looked after and nurtured. The management are helpful in answering admin queries and staff are great with the end-of-day debrief. While updates and photos can sometimes take a little while to arrive, they offer a
nice insight into the teaching and development taking place which is clearly very well structured.

Looking for a nursery for our daughter for me was extremely daunting. Leaving your child in the hands of others is a very hard thing to do! I looked at A-LOT of nurseries - and I just knew straight away when we came to BH Cedar Road it was the nursery for us. It is run exceptionally well, all the
staff are loving, caring and make you feel like family. Any issues or concerns raised are addressed immediately and most importantly, my little girl loves it. If you are looking for a nursery don't hesitate to book a tour here!

My daughter has been here for the past two years and has moved through all the rooms and is now in preschool, where she has truly thrived. The preschool provision is fantastic. She is learning so much with their qualified early years teacher. They learn through play, creativity, crafts,
storytelling, and structured activities. Her maths, early writing and reading skills have developed brilliantly, which is great for school transition. Most importantly, she loves going and is a happy, confident little girl and has bonds with staff and her friends.
My son is also in the toddler room, and the progress he has made is amazing. His confidence and speaking have developed immensely, and he runs into nursery each morning because he loves it.
The staff are lovely and there is no high turnover, which makes such a difference for the children. Management are approachable and supportive. The newly refurbished garden is a beautiful outdoor space and a real asset. I'm so happy we found this nursery.

We've had a great experience so far with our son's new nursery. The staff have been incredibly friendly and welcoming, helping him settle in with patience and care. We really appreciated the long settling-in period, which made the transition much smoother for both him and us. The nursery offers
excellent flexibility with its extended hours, which has been a huge help for working parents. Our son comes home happy and there are plenty of photos of the fun activities he's taken part in each day. Overall, it's a warm, nurturing environment where children clearly thrive. Highly recommended!

My daughter has been at this nursery since April 2025 and I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are absolutely lovely - very friendly, caring & supportive. I love the bright, airy feeling of the nursery & the fact each age group has their own garden - I've never known children (especially
babies) to spend so much time outdoors at a nursery. We get tons of photos and updates and I feel really informed about how she is getting on. The staff in baby room are genuinely special people. My daughter is very happy here!

You will not find a better nursery! Very welcoming and well run establishment. I currently have my 12 month old son attending it after my first son has graduated from it in August after 3.5 yrs there. The onboarding process is excellent , ensuring your child is well settled before they start. The
staff are all very nice and professional and they tend to stay around. I've seen the same faces for the past 4 years. The opening hours are generous. Becky the manager is excellent and very experienced. They listen to parents feedback and accommodate as much of it as possible. Both of my children seem very happy there so I couldn't fault it

My child left in August and we did not have an overall positive experience.
Management was chaotic - to set the tone, the building is setup so that if you have an older child upstairs, you will never pass the office and never be greeted by management which is impersonal and different from other
Bright Horizons I have visited. Communication sporadic and opaque.
There were a couple of red flag incidents in our short time there - my very potty trained child (6 months at this point) was left in a nappy at the end of the day. Fine if they were put in a nappy for a nap but not fine that no one had checked for the rest of the day. And they were not the only child this happened to.
There are some truly lovely nursery workers there who clearly work so hard. But also a sense of unease? Hard to put a finger on but something not right.
My previously bubbly and very enthusiastic child (had been at a different nursery since a young baby) started to say they did not want to go to nursery at all.

We've been really happy with Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road. Our son started in the baby room at the start of October and the staff have been so warm and friendly that it had made the transition much easier for both him and me! We were really impressed with the settling in sessions as there
were a lot more than you have with other nurseries and it gave my son the chance to slowly get used to the new environment.
We are also aware that they are refurbishing the garden so it seems like they refresh and maintain the nursery well. Very pleased!

We are absolutely delighted with our experience at Bright Horizons Teddington. From the very first day, the team have been warm, welcoming and genuinely caring. They consistently keep us informed of any issues or updates, which gives us great peace of mind.
The indoor and outdoor play areas are
spacious and thoughtfully designed - our child has so much to explore, create and learn with. We particularly appreciate the variety of activities that the staff organise: everything from painting sessions to practical life tasks, like helping the children take care of their own dishes at lunch. These moments feel so enriching, encouraging both independence and responsibility in a fun and friendly way.
Overall, the staff's attentiveness, the stimulating environment and the daily focus on nurturing each child's growth make this nursery stand out. We couldn't ask for a better place for our little one.

Both of my children have attended this nursery, and my youngest is still with them. It really is a wonderful nursery. They do a great range of activities, arts and crafts and the pre-school did a fantastic job of equipping me eldest for school, with his reading and writing practice. They have small
group/class sizes here tailored for the children's ages, which means the children are with others at their own stage and it feels calmer for them. And most of all the staff are so lovely, they genuinely care for the children and are so enthusiastic and warm with them. Many of them have been there for a long time which is testament to the quality of the nursery. I would highly recommend it!

We are absolutely delighted that we chose this nursery. My daughter always goes there with joy. She has many friends and a wonderful relationship with the staff. We are also very pleased with the progress she's making in learning different subjects and skills.

I have a year old son at Bright Horizons who's doing great. His playing skills has really improved. He smiles a lot more and I have found the staff to be polite and caring. I will recommend this nursery to prospective parents.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The space, facilities and app are excellent, and the staff are wonderful. We were very impressed with the settling in process and the efforts the team made to make us all feel at ease. Our daughters' bond with the staff has gone from strength to strength; it
is evident that they go above and beyond in the care they provide and the relationships they build with the children. We can clearly see continuous progress in her physical and emotional development too, thanks to the wonderful array of activities and structured learning. We highly recommend Bright Horizons.

My daughter recently started in the baby room. The team are friendly, welcoming and made me feel at ease from day 1, having never left my child out the care of my partner and I. The staff team have been very understanding and my child and I are greeted by her key people each morning. The nursery is
well presented with a large outdoor space and individual baby garden. The meals are nutritious and have been adapted to support my child's weaning needs. The management team are very welcoming and have been supportive from registration and throughout the settling in process. The app is great as we receive regular updates and pictures of our child playing happily which is very reassuring as new parents. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My child has attended the nursery from one year old. The staff are great and she's really enjoyed her time there. My biggest issue has been with Bright Horizons, their policies are very inflexible around food allergies and providing alternative nappies for those with skin conditions. The fees are
also exceptionally high and for that reason, there should be more flexibility when dealing with care for children with special requirements. This is my second experience of a Bright Horizons nursery which deteriorated rapidly under a new manager and Bright Horizons did nothing to intervene for two years. For that reason, I cannot recommend a Bright Horizon nursery for any new parent.

My 4-year-old has really enjoyed his time at nursery. Forming strong bonds with the staff and making great little friendships. The care and attention he receives is outstanding. He especially loves the focus on learning and spending time outdoors.

Our daughter attended Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road Day Nursery and Preschool from April 2023 until March 2024. The only reason she left was that we moved abroad as we were extremely happy with the entire nursery experience. The team in the baby room were great at getting our daughter
settled in and happy. She had been born extremely prematurely so still had some fairly significant health issues at the time which the team took very seriously and managed very well. As she progressed through the nursery rooms (toddlers, nursery and the last couple of months in preschool) the team made a great effort to settle her in at each stage and she really enjoyed herself.
We would highly recommend the nursery to other parents and if we move back to the area, would certainly re-enrol.
Our daughter was very sad to leave, having made great friends with both her peers and teachers at nursery. The food provided was very good quality, healthy and our daughter was very happy to eat it.

My daughter started attending the nursery in 2022 and the entire experience has been exceptional.
When my daughter first joined the nursery, she was quite shy and quiet. However, her key person and other Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road Day Nursery and Preschool team members recognised this
and encouraged her to come out of her shell. Through their guidance and support, my daughter has blossomed into a lively and open child, who easily participates in activities and makes new friends.
In short - the curriculum is well-designed, the classrooms are spacious and clean, the outdoor play area is well-equipped, communication between parents and nursery is another strong point (daily updates, photos, achievements, etc.) All these combined give me confidence she is in caring hands.
I am very grateful to all the members of Bright Horizons Teddington for creating a kind and positive atmosphere for children, especially important during early years of development.

My daughter started in the baby room in September and she has thrived under the care of the lovely team. She has grown into a confident toddler who has a lovely bond with her key person and the other team members. Every member of staff is warm, professional and committed to making this nursery
something very special. There are several nurseries much closer to where we live but we go out of our way to ensure our daughter attends Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road Day Nursery and Preschool as we know she will be really cared for. It comes highly recommended and we are looking forward to watching her progress through the nursery as she grows.
